I'm not sure if the gameboy micro is going to be released in United Kingdom or not but its been released in the US. Just post your comments about, what you think about it, etc, etc

I think it looks pretty cool but the screen is to small for me. lol so i probably wont get it just because it doesnt play DS games and just GBA games.

It's being released in November, I believe.

Anywho, I have the Micro. Not much to say about it, but it's awesome. The screen is incredibly crisp and the comfortness is definitely on the plus side. The sound, however, is not that of typical GameBoys, but I see why Nintendo didn't make it too great. It's a portable and no one wants to hear your games, so use the nifty little headphone jack!

The GameBoy Micro receives a 10/10 and I only hope really cool faceplates come out! (If you've seen the FFIV teaser, it shows a really cool faceplate :). Too bad Americans or Europeans won't see it :(.)

I think the Gameboy Micro is pretty pointless. The new SP and the DS give me (or basically anyone else) a reason to buy a Micro.

That being said, I want want badly (lol). It's very sexy and cool, and I think very convientent. on IGN.com they used my exact cell phone to show how small the micro really is, and I've wanted it ever since.

I don't think I'd be willing to pay the $100 dollars for it (because that's like 2 gamecube games) but I think my girlfriend may have gotten it for my birthday, so we'll see.

Marketing. Nintendo doesn't really have anything exciting coming out for the GBA or Gamecube this winter (the DS has some real good titles though..) It's sleek and sexy, it'll probably sell tons, it'll make a great christmas gift. And it won't derail the XBox 360 sales, but it won't help them. Nintendo is convinced that people want sexy looking modern gadgets (PSP, Revolution, I-Pods, ect.) and they want to capitolize on it. And not to mention, in the USA the GBA still outsells the DS and the PSP. Plus the GBM is being marketed at an older age group. I think 28 million GBA/SP's were sold around the world... and most of them are kids. I think Nintendo wants to raise that to 40 millionish with a lot of adults thrown into the mix.

I think its great if you play a lot of GBA games (DS isnt ideal) plus its a hell of a lot more portable! Also for non gamers who wouldnt mind a mini games machne for holidays and train journeys.

To be honest the little thing has grown on me and if I could get a Famicom version for cheap id think about it; but im not THAT bothered. Yet. But if I saw one........

I have to admit, the idea of playing a Micro on the train is far more appealing than my DS. I love the DS and don't care what others really think, but Micro does look good and it's tiny. Plus there are some great GBA games. I just picked up Zelda the Minish cap for my DS and it's fantastic! It's making me want a Micro more even though I know I don't need one.
