I'm hoping that not all games are being made available for launch. I want Streets of rage 3 damnit and i'm not falling for the same con on ebay, like most other people seem to be. £40 for a fucking Megadrive game, piss off.

a few of those games i use to own altered beast, sonic, golden axe & columns all of them where great games.

I would like to see SSF2 on the VC. The xbox360 version of SF is unplayable on the pad so I am hoping that the classic pad that the wii has works well with SF. I would love to play SSF2 SNES version again, it was one of my favourites of the series.

i never played golden axe, i think it and super mario world (which i also haven't played believe-it-or-not) will be my first games, just because i've always heard so much about them and now i can find out for sure.

will be interesting to see how often they all update their lists, i'm still hoping on solstice from the NES...

This list is pure sex. Bluestar, anyone can run things illegally, but some prefer to support these initiatives and have legal games, even if it's virtually. Not to mention that if Wii really sells to non gamers and such, they usually don't use emulators.

I found my Megadrive with Golden Axe and Streets of Rage a few months ago, brilliant brilliant games. Two player is hilarious fun, although we never get to the end as we always end up fighting against each other for not sharing food and power-ups. Would love to play Altered Beast again as well, pretty good starting line up really, but a few more would be nice. Hopefully some more classic Megadrive games will appear, give me Gunstar Heroes please.

Hopefully this means Toe Jam and Earl 2 will be on the VC in the future as it's my favourite Genesis game, and maybe in the future streets of Rage 1+2.

everything elese is good especially toe jam and earl.Wonder which one it is though.the side scrolling one is by far the best

1. Columns had great music :D!!!!!
2. The side scrolling one (Toe Jam and Earl 2: Return to Planet Funkatron...I think) is absolutely amazing. Probably the funniest 2D game EVER (especially when you have to mimic someone's dancing and if you do well, you get extra 'funk' : peace: )

I own SoR and SoR2. Played SoR3 on emulation and even with Save States, I find it nearly impossible. I can never get past that level with corridors, rooms and lifts with the gas countdown.

SoR2 is my fave. Big chunky sprites and a soundtrack to die for. :)

What was its condition. If it came with everything and you paid lower than £30 I officially hate you :heh:

I own SoR and SoR2. Played SoR3 on emulation and even with Save States, I find it nearly impossible. I can never get past that level with corridors, rooms and lifts with the gas countdown.

SoR2 is my fave. Big chunky sprites and a soundtrack to die for. :)

I have the majority of the SoR2 soundtrack on my PC, it really does rule.

I hope Super Mario World is on the VC at launch. Out and out greatest game ever made.

they can't release all their big hitters (no pun intended groan!) at launch, they gotta hold some back and release a handful every now and again, keeps things interesting and allows us to build up a great selection gradually... something to look forward to and all that. yeh, we all have our faves that we'd like to see straight away, but even i can't argue that that is a fine list to begin with :)

Apparently it was because the if they put the three SoR games in the American version, then Sonic Mega gems would of got a ‘Teen’ rating from ESRB and Sega felt that would effect sales. They just didn’t change it back for the EU :sad: . The bastards.

No SoR make me cry on the inside, nothing here I really want, i got Golden Axe and Ecco on my GBA and they work perfectly (unlike the Sonic Spinball that's with them..)

Im hoping they do 32x games on the VC, Knuckles chaotix is a game I really want to play..
