The first game is amazing and the GBA game was pretty good aswell. I doubt I will get the 2nd game though due to me selling my PS2 a while ago. Also why havent they given a release date for this yet in Europe?

Kingdom Hearts II is brilliant. Like I said before, everything about the game is amazing, the gameplay, the graphics, the story.

This game is one of my favourites, and I highly reccomend Kingdom Hearts II to all PS2 owners.

This is another game I have been waiting for for ages now but sadly because of the Wii I probably won't be able to get it.

Yeah, the whole game's one epic adventure. Through the game, you visit many Disney worlds and help Disney characters. But it's much more action oriented then Zelda, which is more of a exploring game.

Really? I thought the first game was one of the best this generation. Sure the combat was pretty shallow but the story, music and visuals more than made up for it. Plus it had Squall in it which is an instant win :bowdown:

I realised that i wouldn't get the game till after friday anyway. I've never recieved a item from there in 3 days.

UK, September 27, 2006 - European Square-Enix fans eagerly awaiting the launch of Kingdom Hearts II in the territory next Friday can pick up the paunch and shimmy on down to the 150 Oxford Street branch of HMV in London on September 29, between 12pm and 2pm, for all manner of mouse-shaped festivities.


All attendees will recieve an absolutely-not-permanent henna tattoo of the Kingdom Hearts II logo - on their arses or otherwise - as well as the chance to win prizes, including a Tetsuya Nomura-signed poster of the game. Apparently, proceedings will be overseen by the Kingdom Hearts II girls, who'll be "on hand" throughout the day. We're pretty sure that's not supposed to be suggestive.

Well I managed to pick this up today as my mate let me borrow his PS2. I have been playing for about 3 hours now and the story is very interesting. Its great to see some of the FF characters back again in 3D, especially Setzer. Just playing this game reminds me why I love Square-Enix, the effort they have put into this game is amazing.

I'm in LOVE with this game!

My god i had to literally keep saying to myself over and over again, stop now, it's time for bed, the story is so compelling.

Actually saying that, i was slightly confused at the beginning, because i didn't play Kingdom Hearts, but thankfully they keep doing flashbacks and reminders etc..

One thing (which if i said here, may spoil the story, so i won't) i'm pretty sure i'm right about, hopefully i am. Otherwise i really do have no-idea whats going on.

Well the story may be confusing me slightly but i'm getting the hang-of it and can honestly say this is one of the best games i've played on the PS2 and overall so far, lets hope the game keeps surprising me over the next 34+ hours.

It seems slightly easy, but in all honesty this is good for me. I'd prefer not to get stuck and just keep carrying on to see whats happening next, so i like the difficulty.

Drive Forms = The Best Thing Ever.

I've only got Wisdom and Valor at the moment but I'm sure the other forms will rock too.

One problem, I think i'm going through the game at an alarming rate, I've already been to 8 worlds and I've only played for 13 hours.

Oh yeah there is one world that is making me cringe, a lot.

Got the game this morning and just finished day 6 at Twilight Town. I must say that it seems a bit to story heavy. I want some action!

I am confused by the story. Axel wasn't in #1 was he? I can't remember, that is probably my biggest problem - I can't remember #1 so I am getting confused and I am awful at listening to stories so I am more confused. Oh well..

To really understand what is going on you have to play Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories on the GBA. Axel was in that and he was awesome.

I loved this game, I'm greatly saddend to see it end but all games must and at least there are somethings for me to go back and do.

There were a few problems with the story though, some things were never clarified and things didn't happen that I thought were going to.

Here's hoping the third one won't be too far off...

Yeah i love, what i think is called 'drive' McMad. I was facing a boss (the beauty and the beast one) and died right near the end. Then i press a button and Mickey Mouse in a cloak came sprinting around, killed everything and saved Sora! I then beat the boss! GREAT!

I just beat Beasts Castle last night, I was going to start the Hercules world but I got pretty tired. Like Sarka im taking my time with it as I want it to last.

Just finished the Steam Boat Willie worl. It was pretty cool playing in black and white for a while. I still a bit disappointed with it at the moment as the story doesnt seem to be going anywhere, I just seem to be travelling from 1 world to another which is exactly what I was doing in the first game.

I too found the Disney fillers boring story wise, but the game is still fun. After you're finished with all of the Disney worlds, the story will be brilliant. Enjoy the gameplay until then.

Some of the story and voice acting really is embarrassing though - Mulan especially. Especially with the story and cut scenes taking up more time than actually playing the game.

It's called Sanctuary, but the Japanese (and in my opinion better one) is called Passion on the album "Ultra Blue". Plus, there's no complete version of Sanctuary. Or you can just download it. The video for Passion is great.

I have been playing this alot this weekend and I have really got into it. The story has also picked up which is what I was looking for. The whole scenes in Hollow Bastion before the 1000 heartless fight were outstanding, especially the whole mini rivalary between Squall and Cloud. SQUALL FTW!

I think my favourite Disney world has to be Halloween town, i'm not sure why though.

My favourite boss battle had to be the one against Xaldin, the music, the scene and the difficulty were all perfect.

Man this game seriously was a lot of fun.

I am upto the Tron world for the 2nd time, looks like im nearly finished the main story but I want all the sidequests done, be fully levelled up and finish Jimneys Journal off aswell.

Sephiroth was a challenge on the first game aswell but im sure I will give the overhyped badguy a beating.

I've just started Port Royal for the second time. I think it's a great game. Does anybody else feel that the world's are shorter and easier than the first one?

I think the worlds are equal in size, it's just for some reason they're not lasting as long, I think it's mainly because many of the worlds are very linear in design, no back-tracking is required unlike in the original.

What cannot be denied is how much effort has been put into this game though, the main problem is when the battle system was completely revamped, the need to use magic other than Cure died with the implementation of reaction commands and Drive forms, and summons are not even needed at all.

Even though Kingdom Hearts 2 is a bit of a button basher, some depth can be found in the fighting system, and in the end Kingdom Hearts 2 is still a very good game.

I've finally decided to post what I truly think this game deserves out of ten.

Since I'm such a big fan of this game I thought I might aswell post that KH2 Final Mix just came out in Japan with extra content (Fights against Roxas, Enigmatic Soldier and a Secret Ending Video) and a re-done version of Chain of Memories in 3D.

Nomura Interview
- A Part of the latest secret movie is related to the new series.

- You will have EXP 0 at the beginning of Critical Mode, it's for those that might find Critical Mode too easy. It will be seriously bad for you though if yo accidentally equip it.

- At the top of Pridelands there use to be exactly 144 heartless there, however this time they have become one body.

- Making the E.S an Optional Boss Fight was a staff member's Idea.

- As for the battle against the XIIIth Order they have changed alot.

- At a new scene, when Zexion is walking, he suddenly stops as though he's thinking of something. It's up to the player to think of why Zexion stopped.

- The XIII Mushroom was an idea from the staff ever since Kingdom Hearts II Was developed. Though back then it was too big to put into the game, therefore it was added as a Sidequest for this one.

- For the Roxas battle and new element. At first Nomura WAS going to put the Roxas fight in Kingdom Hearts II but due to the time consumption in the end he took the fight out. He also wanted to add an additional bit to that event, and a new form. He was thinking about the abilities that could reside around Kingdom Hearts I.

- The Music of the battle against Roxas after the battle, was meant to value the event completly. When Nomura did the battle against Roxas, he wanted to convince the people about how emotional the battle was, therefore created an event after the battle. The battle music he saw as "Different" for when he had Sora face up against Roxas.

- There are some changes in the game the staff made that even "I" don't know about.

- re:COM was made more from a less justifying view first. It seemed as Nomura wanted to make the camera like Kingdom Hearts, but it would be hard for the team to fully do this, so he changed it around.

- The team also did a couple of changes for the Last Boss against Sora. I took charge for this battle. It seemed to be *** of **** of Sora. (Yes the *** were censored in the magazine)

- All he can say is that it has to do with Marluxia and it is a very very painful attack.

- The New series is not Kingdom Hearts III

Interview with Shimomura
- For re:COM her and the team worked day in, and day out, though this was only for the battle music. She wanted to have different feelings such as "Happy Battle" "Sad Battle" and a "Terrible Music". There also something about a "Third Form" added to the Last boss.

- Yoko Shimomura put ALL her work and effort in the Roxas battle music. She was pushed to his limit. The battle is meant to be very very emotional. Nomura believed Shimomura already met the standards, but Shimomura wanted to push herself further.

Extra

There are two versions of the XIII Organization fights. The first one is scattered throughout the Worlds, and Nomura stated no one at all should have any trouble with these. However for the re-fights in the new area. They will have to at least be level 99 if they want to stand a chance.

EDIT: Reading around the net I see that this is supposed to be set before the other 2 games so I guess it wasnt. Guess we can hope for an all out war for control of the Keyblades.
