Surely they could of made it look a bit better?
Anyway its gameplay that counts, and I've heard good things about it so its fantastic news its getting a GBA release.

Is this just a straight port of Final Fantasy II on the SNES, (sure looks like it) or are they adding some new stuff to it?

Sorry, I can't answer that question, my source is Gamefront.de (http://www.gamefront.de) and it only says there that it's released as a part of the "Final Fantasy Projects" and it will be released in Japan in winter 2005/06.
