Not a light claim to make I know, but if you're a fan of FPS and you have an Xbos you have to play this. Almost identical to Halo 2 in almost every way, plus you can build your own maps.
If you haven't got it yet, get down the shops tomorrow.

I played the multiplayer at GME, and it kicked arse...............and it wasn't even in a finished state then (graphical glitches).
IGN gave it a 9.0, and recommended that if you like FPS then you should pick it up. If I had an Xbox, then I know I would.

Yeah but he has powers. Crytek didnt even have anything to do with this game and have gone off with EA for their new game. Ubi failed to promote Far Cry properly. Far Cry pc has had one of the best ever afterlife services. HDR addition was killer.

Farcry Insticnts is too jerky and there's occasional 1 second pauses--very annoying.
Far Cry PC on a nice rig is a much better experience and the levels are much larger.

Far Cry on PC with HDR and x64 addons is so beautiful. Adding random animal abilities can't make it that good right?

Far Cry Instincts got a really good review in this month's EDGE, and scored 8/10.
It's not the same game by any means, they've apparently re-worked this one and really polished up the gameplay. Whilst this is a good looking game, its much more focussed gameplay wise than the PC title which, less face it, was a bit of a mixed bag gameplay wise, but a fantastic tech demo. The Far Cry demo was the last Windows PC game I ever played... it had rendering issues ;P
I'm definitely interested in this, but with Advance Wars DS out today and Pro Evo out in the few weeks, it might have to wait.

Far Cry only has rendering issues if your card gets too hot and stuff.

I'll wait and see, last time we all bought a new first person shooter we ended up back on Halo 2 after about 10 minutes. Better tread a little more carefully this time around.
Ok i've just got home after purchasing it from my local Gamestation. (it came in a snazzy army pack).
So far this game is amazing, ive just literally turned it on, ive just jumped out of my boat after being shot by helicopters, taking a minute out to write this. Graphics are also amazing so far.
I will be playing this online soon so if anybody has it my gamertag is JB Whiting.

Thats not true, theres two good levels. Earth and Delta Halo... apart from that its crap from start to finish.

I actually enjoyed it on Co-op. Don't get me started on the Halo 1 single player though.
I'm not really diggin' the single or multiplayer of this game, probably for the pathetic reason that it isn't Halo 2.
Shame, because the Map Maker rocks.

I can't make this one either, I've got Advance Wars, Pro Evo 5, Football Manager 06, Madden 06, Nintendogs and the god of all gaming: Mario Kart on my shopping list this season.

I played the pc one today around my friends and it's great, which one would you recomend i buy, i can get the xbox one for £30 online or the pc one for £10 at GAME, is the anything axtra? or better about the xbox version, or should i just buy the pc one at 1/3 rd the price?

Errr... Far Cry Instincts is a totally different game. Far Cry PC is great, i mean looks better but the levels aren't as good nor is the story.
I'd pay abit more and get the XBOX game if i were you.

Still playing it practically everyday and night.
You get the odd bit of lag, and occasionally hosts who leave when they're losing, but apart fom that, still an awesome game.
