im getting a DS next week, and was just wondering about playing multiplayer, do you both have to have the same game to play or is it like the GBA where only one of you needs the game to be linked up ?? or does it depend on the game?

Depends on the game mate.

I thought mario kart was the only GBA game that used the 1 cart feature.

ah i see... do any other DS games have the 1 game link up feature ??

and you may be right about mario kart, thats the only game i played linked up anyway so i asumed it was like that for all multiplayer games.

the ones i know that do are Meteos, Advance Wars DS, Yoshi Touch & Go, Super Mario 64 DS, FIFA 2006, Bomberman.

ah thats cool, was thinking of picking up fifa when i get my DS and im going away with someone who i know has a DS so multiplayer would be good.

To be honest I think most games have SOME form of single pak multiplayer. What you could do, to get everything on say FIFA is buy an extra copy (or get your mate to) from GAME who do a return within ten days if you dont like it policy. I think on fifa you can only play internationals on one pak.

As for imports, Daigasso Band Brothers is one cartridge multiplayer. I have played it in a gorup of 8. Minor nightmare to get it downloaded for everyone!!
