(I know Revolution isn't in first.. and gamefaq polls do lean towards Nintendo sometimes, but I still think it's encouring since 87 thousand+ voted).

Can't believe PS3's up there!! It's going to be interesting the next gen. On a personal level I am VERY excited by the Revolution, I have no interest in the other two consoles, though my hand may be FORCED if some key 3rd party titles don't come over to the Rev. And by Key Titles I really mean Pro Evolution Soccer.

Whether it puts Nintendo back to top or it doesnt really affect the economy of the industry I think the Revolution will go down inhistory as the most imortant console since the NES, and I do think Sony and MS will use the idea for teir next consoles OR in the middle of next gen.

PS3 will always top a poll on something like Gamefaqs. Mainly because it's a RPG fest. People who love RPGs will vote for PS3 because they belive that like the PS2 and PSX, it will get insane amounts of RPGs. I voted for all myself. It's a hard choice. I love the Rev for it's freshness, but I still want to have some "normal" games to play as well. It's a really hard choice.

lol, on gamefaqs, each company has their own fanbase, who votes for anything with a Nintendo labal, Sony label etc on... so the result probably wouldnt be much different if none of the consoles had even been reveiled yet :)

I think sony are making a mistake with PS3.
I will be happy with 360 and Revo.
And then buy Ps3 when it's at resonable price (for those few good games, Tekken, FF, MGS)

I'm not surprised the PS3 is number one, but I am surprised that the Xbox360 has so little votes!

I knew the Rev would gather interest but wasn't sure it would gather this much!

I am really looking forward to how Ninty do their stuff, and how they will use this revelutionary device and make it work.
A critical field that Nintendo must participate more in is advertising in Europe. They must tell the world about The Revo and inform the public who is still hanging with PS3 or XBOX360 beacause their 'mates' do,

Oohh, I really hope that Revolution will beat both PS3 & Xbox360. Sony & Microsoft have had their moment of glory. Now it´s time for Nintendo to reclaim their nr.1 spot in the gamingworld.

how do you know resi 5 is not going to be on the rev, beside nintendo no companies have confirmed any games for it yet (correct me if i'm wrong) which is probably because they're not allowed to by signing NDA's with nintendo.

i'm quite excited about revolution, but i'm scared it'll turn out a bit too much like ds in the respect that people are already getting miffed about its' one-trick-pony status. i'll buy a ps3 regardless, but i'll have to wait and see if revolution ends up innovative or if it just ends up a novelty toy.

Nintendo US has stated that Resident Evil 5 may yet be announced for Revolution, internet sources are claiming.

Reports say that Capcom will be looking into releasing the game on other formats - including Revolution and PC - in the future.

*Revolution will be release 2006, and that is the year RE5 will be released, so it will be too late to bring it up
*Capcom will have to work all over again, for the control (remote control)

I would have loved to have been able to reply because i could pick apart his statement bit by bit and prove him totally and completely incorrect!!!

he even went on to contradict himself in his own post which made me laugh, poor guy, its people like him i really feel for!

Xino, simple request, really. If you intend to maintain a presence on here beyond the next week, if you're lucky at this rate, try to be constructive in what you post rather than argumentative. At the moment you seem to be coming in to a thread and posting your opinion with nothing to back up why you made your statement; at that point if anyone dares to post something, which contradicts your opinion, you then simply respond by shouting them down stating that what they have said is not a fact.

In this instance: Capcom have announced that Resident Evil 5 is in development for Xbox360 and PS3, they have confirmed that it may be considered for other platforms as time goes on and they have so far not ruled out any. This does not mean that RE5 will not be coming to the Revolution, nor does it mean that it will, it simply means that there is still the possibility. Admittedly, Capcom have been demonstrating that RE5 will be running in HD format and they have stated that it will be optimised for that; it does not mean, however, that you will only be able to play it on a HDTV set. One fact does not automatically imply that the opposite is untrue, which seems to be the basis for your stance in this argument, others have tried to point this out and you have then proceeded to shout them down and proclaim them as "owned".

You do not "own" someone by declaring it so; you "own" someone by proving them wrong, try to do so and you might find some people will actually bother to treat your opinion with respect.

xino, capcom like so many others, have had to sign non-disclosure agreements with nintendo, they saw the controller long before the tokyo game show and weren't allowed to say a word... what else do they all know that we don't? who knows? my point is, as Cube magazine stated, all the major publishers have been asked by nintendo not to release concrete details on projects for the revo yet so we'll all just have to wait and see...

now, shall we please return to being on this forum for the reason we came here for in the first place, and that's to share the nintendo love... ;) however, with your comments about us all being kids and that the "big boys" will be playing ps3 and 360 i'm guessing you're not a nintendo fan, so why don't you run along to the ps3 and 360 sites then, and stop wasting your time and ours here.

for the record everyone, i think it's best we ignore people like this if they come here to act this way, it's happened on knight rider online and they've been completely ignored and they grow bored and leave...
