1, NiGHTS - imagine controlling nights with the motion sensor and using the stick to perform tricks. it would be sublime. please sonic team. PLEASE

2, starfox - fly using the revo controller and the stick to aim/shoot

3, Pilotwings - should be obvious why.

4, An rpg where you cast spells by waving the controller in specific patterns for different spells like a wand.

All great ideas you have there!!

My wish list would include...

- Zelda Revolution -
-Having 360 degree movement over Links swords would be incredible; swinging it in full circles on any angle, being able to target attack specific part of enemies with extreme eaze and have the enemies react to their damage accordingly (like in Resi 4, only it would be easy and better!!).

-CONDUCTING (hand controlling) the Wind Baton in a Wind Waker Sequel

-Using the controller to cast/pull on a fishing line

-Controlling a streamlined Zora in the water (as in MM; diving, launching above the waves, tight turns, rolls etc...) all though easy hand movements!!
-The same could apply to flying through the sky in a future Zelda game.

- Jet Set Radio/Tony Hawks -
Graffiti tags could be applied in Fisrt Person; by holding down the 'A' button to spray the paint and then waving the can around with the controller to creat the picture.

- Super Monkey Ball REV -
Where your hand movements would control the ball, and the controller would also be great for the mini games.

- Mario Golf/Baseball -
You could swing to strike the ball

- Resident Evil / Ninja Gaiden -
Where sword/chainsaw/knife movements use the controller movements

Fishing wouldn't feel that too new with it, it was done with the dreamcast rod thing.

Strategy games are obviously the ones that would damn suit the controller well along with FPS.

another game that could be great is Polarium.... i would work just as great as it did on the DS

Imagine one of Mizuguchi's new games. A music/puzzle where you have to conduct with the remote to remove the blocks, oh yeah!

P.S he's just announced a new game for PSP

Doesn't stop it from being a great interactive addition to the next Zelda game! and i'm sure the idea would reach a wider audience than Sega Bass Fishing did!

Metroid Prime 3 is bound to utilize the dual analogue stlye movement setup (as they used it in the MP2 demo); BRING IT ON!!!

Can't wait to DO A BARREL ROLL Revolution-style. The controller design could be implemented into lots of the games that already exist, and I'm pretty sure the next Mario game will showcase this new control method perfectly.

I want all the classics to be there, as well as a plethora of new and exciting titles. The great thing about Revolution is that games can only appear using this unique control method on it. People looking for standard control schemes will buy on a competitor's machine. With Nintendo this generation you're not only getting their beloved franchises and mascots... you're also getting this rather unique way to play games. Quite a bargain, nicht?

I think a massive RPG game would do the revolution wonders, the same as the Final Fantasy games have helped in the past we need a new line of RPGs that would convince people to buy the Revo.

Also the main game im looking forward to is the new Animal Crossing game, thats probably the one game in this latest generation that made me feel like i was really enjoying games like I used to when I was younger.

PIKMIN 3

Herding the little buggers around with the pointer and then flicking them across the screen like little flowery bogeys.

F-Zero X/Mario Kart/1080/Excitebike - For obvious reasons :D

Plus a new FPS by Retro would be nice, the control set-up is perfect. Oh and Smash Bros. Using the tilt sensor to decide how much damage you inflict would be decent, twist hard for a smash and slow for a weak attack.

Nice

Love the idea of a Pilotwings follow up , that has been sadly missing for far too long.

A new Soul Caliber would also be great , slashing the controller widly should be fun , as a bonus make sure the mother-in-law is sitting next to you (just in case you thrash about too madly - double the damage , bonus).

Expanding on the PM:TTYD battle system (where you had to draw continuous circles around baddies etc...), I can imagine having to pick up items to drop on enemies heads or yanking Mario out of the way of an attack... possibly Mario could be thrown as a weapon.

Ooooh!

Definitely! Its got to be on the cards too with that controller, it would be an injustice not to make it.
They could even do the retro section with N64 games, imagine 5 second stints of speeded up Mario 64!

Metroid , zelda, SSB and some sort of snowboard game.

Metroid and any other FPS/A game is gonna rock with the remote, so will a SSB game and a snowbard game.
And then there's Zelda. Cant wait to try that one out.

Punch-Out Revolution!

Free boxinghand movement with the "remote", the game will ship with another remote so you use one for each "boxinghand".

You can move each hand individually and learn combos and stuff, or find out some own. Might not be for the lazy persons, and Im kinda sure it wont be reality cause it would be resticted for talanted persons, not everyone can box.

PilotWings

Using the remote to control each moment in the game, like steering the plane and stuff. So cool!

Osu!Tatakae!Ouendan! Revolution

Perhaps controlling the cheerleaders by some kind of movement with the controller? It'll be like a totally new DDR-kind-of-game. So cool! :hehe:

Does anyone else think that a game like Black & White by Lionhead would work using the new controller?
If its supposed to work in a similar fashion to a mouse then it's be cool to see a port of the sequel, or a new game\remake of the original.
I loved that game, and was rather obessed for a number of months.

Would an RTS play well with the controller. I'm trying to look at genres and franchises that don't quite work with the generic control set-up as used in the PS3\X-BOX360 at the moment.

Can't wait to see some of the 'regular' franchises now.. WarioWare, Pikmin, Smash Bros. particularly!

Ouendan would be great! They could infact do it verly close to the original, just use the controller as a pointing device.. at first.. and then do something cool to add to it. Also they will probably make nintendogs for it, so perfect for that :)

Myst V... suits the hardware and controller better than anything else it will be running on. It's damned near impossible to complete giving it exceptional value for money.

Myst being the most popular computer game ever (assuming sales are representative of popularity) second only to the Sims which I personally don't class as a "game".

The entire Myst series would have a very welcome home on the Revolution being popular with everyone over the teenage demographic, and even some under it.. It would suit Nintendo's strategy of getting this console into the homes of non gamers because in the early 90s, this was one of the games that cracked this market judging by it's success.

I've actually e.mailed the Cyan team over the possibility of running Myst 5 and perhaps other installments of the series on Nintendo Revolution.

Their response? We're interested and will seriously look into it though I must understand that this kind of thing needs to be economically viable.

Seeing as Myst is popping up on the PSP soon published by Sega perhaps Cyan really meant what they said.

pikmin3 - rts made easy with the rev pad

medievil 3:total war -why not, rts remote madness, with online

I'd quite like this:

http://www.psygnosis.org/games/wipeout64/covers/lcover.jpg

But from Googling I think Psygnosis are dead.. and I don't think there has been a WipeOut announced for the PS3 yet.. they usually make good launch titles, really flex the system.

Psygnosis must have been eaten by Sony so perhaps out chances of this one are slim and none.

F-zero didn't really appeal to me, dunno why. Maybe it was the soundtrack.

Luigis Mansion: You heard me, I want Luigi to return, Poltergust in hand. Or should I say, Rev controller in hand. Imagine it. You are Luigi, walking in a mansion, alone, in the dark. Whilst you move (using the analogue addon perhaps), the rev controller is used as the torch. suddenly, BOO, out pops a ghost. Quick! Hold down the A button to turn on the torch light, in order to stun the ghost. Whilst it's stunned, press the B button to switch to the Poltergust, and hold A to activate. You are forced to pul the controller towords yourself, trying to force the ghost into the Poltergust. Feel the rumble in your hand get stronger as you pull harder against the ghost. WHOOSH! Into the Poltugust the ghost goes. Be cautious and switch back to the torch wit B though, another ghost may be hiding right around the corner...

Super Mario Bros: Sidescrolling action, Revo style. Tilt the controller left or right for the plumber to go that direction, and flick upwards to jump. Press A to use a fireball. And any other unique suits would be welcome of course.

Mario Party:It's not ran out of steam just yet, the Revolution could be just the thing to freshen up the Mario Party series. Minigames ahoy!

Balloon Fight: Launch by tilting the controller upwards, flicking your wrist upwards at all times, just to stay airborne. Flick slightly to the left to go left, and slighty to the right to go right. Aching wrists ahoy with this one for sure.

Phoenix Wright: Should be easy enough, mainly point and click really, though hopefully we'd see some new interactions like we did with Chapter 5 in the DS version.

Fire Emblem: What? It was obvious that I was going to say it :heh:. Strategy at it's finest.

Luigi's Mansion 2 is actually pretty likely IMO (The Revo trailer had two people looking around in the dark in a very Luigi's Mansion style)

My Wishlist

1, A new Waverace developed by EAD (Please Nintendo don't let those hacks at NST get their hands on the Waverace licence again!)

2, A new Starfox game made by EAD (After the last two abysmal games, I can safely say that EAD are the only ones who can do it!)

3, Wario Ware Revolution (Come on you know it's gonna happen!)

4, Pilotwings Revolution (It's been rumoured for ages now)

5, A 2D Advance Wars game (With online gameplay!)

6, Fire Emblem revolution (Probably best in 3D)

7, Panel De Pon revolution (with online gameplay and the original fairy characters!)

8, A sequel to Kirby's Dream Course

9, A new 2D sidescrolling Metroid!

10, NiGHTS revolution (I know it'll never happen but you've gotta dream!)

I want to see a 5-player online Voltron game. Each player controls their Lion of choice through each level to complete individual tasks and otherwise wreak havoc on the current level. Then at the end of each level, the team assembles into Voltron and fights an Evil giant mech-thing. I havent sorted out how 5 people can control Voltron so whoever completes the level tasks first gets to control Voltron while the other 4 players are relegated to watching/talking trash about the captain's mom until Voltron is victorious

My wishlist... hmmm, I'm probably gonna forget plenty of ideas, but here are the main ones:

- Super Mario 128 (or whatever game similar to SM64 or SMSunshine) You have no idea how addicted I was to SMSunshine and how I enjoyed SM64DS
- Paper Mario 3 (can't stress this enough... PM2 was totally awesome)
- Mario Kart for Revolution (preferably with a coop mode like in MKDD) Mainly because it's fun to play with friends
- A Sonic game but PLEASE not with GUNS any more :indeed: and with Eggman playable
- A compilation with all old school mario games... even the ones of the first game boy. DO I even need to say why? I never had the chance to play old school games on the TV screen
- More Mario Party games. These things are too funny with friends
- Another soccer game, but here also, preferably with a coop mode. Same reason as above.
- EDIT: forgot one: another Wario World-like game, but this time, longer and with an actual plot.

For the more unlikely/impossible ideas I'd say this:
- A sequel to SMSunshine (I really loved that game)
- A remake of Paper Mario 1
- A sports game where Mario's universe and Sonic's universe are combined *runs away in fear*

As you may have noticed... I'm a big Super Mario and Sonic fan :)

Bring back the point and click!! Nintendork suggested Myst and I reckon that or something very similar would work brilliantly on the Revolution and help attract a more mature audience.

There was also a rumour a while back that nintendo were trying to get hold of the Silent Hill franchise, due to the success of Resident Evil on the cube. I've never properly played a Silent Hill game, but I've always been attracted to them so having them On revolution would be great.

Also... (This is wishful thinking) I wanna see an online Zelda :Four Swords. Keep it simple, like on the cube, but allow new levels and missions to be downloaded regularly through virtual console. AND then give us a level/mission creator and let us upload them onto a fan-made database, increasing the longetivity of the game even further. lovely.

i know it woudnt happen, but a (planetside) metroid. you can create your characterto your liking. samus lives on a distant planet, and hrough her success of all the bounty hunting she is the leader of a whole army. at the same time a leader of the (enemy) is also like samus and has created an army. you can choose to be one of the two and go into wars between each other. (this is infuenced by panetside.) you can customize your character, it could be much ike a war ame where you can be snipers, grenadiers etc.
or for another an rpgmmofps. you cn create a character again. and you are again in the army of samus. but this tiem you can create parties of the army, i dont know what to call them, and you can do stuff like bounty hunting with each other, flying to other planets. maybe you could go against another clan of hunters to find an artefact or something. i think that would be aweseom. trying to get a statue while other people are shooting at you trying to also get it.

F-Zero: would just look awsome on the Revolution. You can hold the Revmote side ways, and turn it like a steering wheel.
Grand Theft Auto: Grand Theft Auto would just be cool to play on the Revolution.
Mario Paint: You can use the Revmote like your paints brush.
Some kind of pool game: You can move the Revmote to line up your shot. Then pull it back and push forward to hit the ball.
Diablo: I think any Blizzard game would work out great on the Revolution.

F-Zero and Mario Paint are basically confirmed, I'm not aware of the politics with Grand Theft Auto but I think Nintendo has a market being the only system that doesn't run the notorious GTA.

Brownie points with the mothers and fathers.

I'd rather play pool in real life than play on a computer game.. but I guess that could be a very accurate and solid control scheme, a definitive pool title really. I know many previous Pool games got criticised for shit control scheme and failing to render spherical balls lol.

There are a few:

(1)An Okami game, Capcom could just recreate the one on the PS2 and call it the Okami:The Lost Legacy adding in extra bits around the game

(2) House of the Dead game

(3) Skies of Arcadia 2, I have waited for a sequel for a number of years -we neeeeeeeeeeeed one!!

(4) Kid Icarus game - I believe if Nintendo was to do this game we would see it in a crossover game like God Of War/ Devil May Cry style.

Thats all, I think

Metroid Prime 3, but with the ability to add bots in the multiplayer mode, so you can play a deathmatch alone.

It would be cool to have a Grand Theft Auto game on the Revolution, but your right it probly won't happen. I like playing pool in real life too. I just thought it would be fun to play it on the Revolution.

id also like to see a more colorful attempt at a 3D Castlevania on Revo. The N64/PS2 version were pretty bland and with the FHC/analog combo you could get some Super Castlevania-style whip mechanics in there like the spinning whip shieldhttp://img162.imageshack.us/img162/5585/shield3rc.pngand you could aim at rings to swing from http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/2880/whip0oc.png

I hope this does happen cause look at this:

PS2 Okami 10 / 10 / 10 / 9 39 (Platinum)

(from this weeks Famitsu, although you should know by the 4 review marks.)

Looks decent and it is sooo made for the Revo. PLEASE Capcom make this happen

I haven't read the whole thread here, so sorry if it's already mentioned. But what I think would make a good revo game is Abuse.
For those who don't know it, it's basically a 2D side-scrolling platform/shooter game for PC where you run around with the arrow-keys and aim and shoot with the mouse. You can read a review here (http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/abuse/review.html).

Update the graphics to use 3D with lots of FX, but keep it 2D, and you have another winner.

Or maybe this is a starting point for a 2D metroid for the revo.

I can't see this happening on the Rev. There is alot less immersion that can be had from 2D enviroment. The DS can handle all our 2D needs.

Indeed. I hope they ressurect Metroid Dread for the DS and have the Revolution finish the Metroid Prime trilogy. After that the series can head into a new, maybe third person direction.
