I have the boring silver one though!
What do you think I would have to pay if I sold by silver one for a blue one, and would I have to sell the Metroid Demo?
I mean, in somewhere like GAME, how much would I get for my DS? It has no scratches or anything, and I have the box and stuff!

Before the price drop announcement my brother managed to sell his for £58. If GAME are aware of an impending price-drop (not all workers are informed), then you'd be looking at a simular price.
I also recently sold my old silver ds for £80 on ebay (including postage), i now have a Black DS which i am very happy with.

Didn't you make a thread on the old forums shouting about how much you loved your red DS? Why are you getting rid of it so quickly then?

psssh, I love the silver one. After getting stuck with a purple gamecube on launch I wanted a silver GC soo bad (because silver is my favorite color...).
Needless to say I was psyched when I saw that Nintendo had chosen Silver to be the first color for the DS. The black also goes perfect with it.
My girlfriend has the electric blue DS however, and I must say it is very sexy.

Is it really worth selling a DS and some games to buy... another DS? I mean, I know it's perhaps a nicer colour, but it's the same bit of kit at the end of the day. I don't see why you'd want another one just because it's a different colour plastic... After all, over the next few years we can expect Pokemon-themed DSes, shiny gold Zelda ones, and SNES-style ones for the eventual SNES Classics range.

I belive it was a thread asking about other people ds colours, and selling it to raise funds.
