Here are three games I would like to see on the Wii.

A port of “Diablo 2”
-Use the Wiimote as a mouse
-Online play
-Item downloads through Connect 24
-Voice chat

Remake of Resident Evil 2
-Updated graphics
-More scares
-Same aiming system as Resident Evil 4
-Bonus DVD that has a playable copy of the original Resident Evil 2, documentaries and original concept art

(RTS) Alien VS Predator
-Use the Wiimote as a mouse
-Online play
-Downloadable scenarios through Connect 24
-Voice chat
-Bonus DVD that lets you create your own maps and scenarios to play in multiplayer mode.

I know some people don’t want a remake for Resident Evil 2, but after playing the remake of the first one I want another one. Diablo 2 is one of the best games I have ever played:bowdown: . The Wii would be perfect RTS games, and I want a really great Alien VS Predator game. What do you guys think? Would these games be great on the Wii, or would they suck?

What games do you want to see put on the wii?

I for one want to see a guitar hero style game put on the wii :D

Diablo 2 could be great. Or something like it, played with just the Wii-remote. One hand gaming goodness.

Personally i dont want to see any pc/xbox etc ports on the Wii. I have a PC and 360 for that. Im looking for fresh innovative titles from the Wii. Its not what Nintendo is about imo.

Remakes of Resi 2 and Resi 3 in the same style as Resi 4 are two games I'd love to see; but I don't think the chances are all that good! :(

What I'd like would be a Elder Scrolls games for the Wii, which has got graphics better than Morrowind, but not as good as Oblivion.

GTA is pretty much gunna stay exclusive to Sony and Microsoft since Rockstar think Nintendo is a kiddys platform and PGR is owned by Microsoft. And tbh, i can't see Nintendo doing a realistic car franchise.

EDIT: Okay, i'm tired and i should read things slower.

GTA is owned by sony, hence the reason it's being released on the XBOX and XBOX 360.

I can't see Nintendo doing a realistic car franchise. That isn't why we buy Nintendo anyway, is it?

At least we're not like the others and when one thing has sucess we have to make a clone... Nintendo is not about realistic racing games.

I'd be ultraged if Nintendo was to rip-off GT (I'm not against a Nintendo realistic Racer though)GTA is owned by sony, hence the reason it's being released on the XBOX and XBOX 360.You forgot past releases on PC and even GBA :)

Look, i thought he said GT as in Gran Turismo. No need to go on fucking flaming spree, thanks!hehehe, don't let it get to you :laughing:GTA is pretty much gunna stay exclusive to Sony and Microsoft since Rockstar think Nintendo is a kiddys platformon a more serious note... allow me to disagree, there can be two reasons why GTA didn't come out on GC, one is disc space... GTA games were massive in space (first PS2 game to use dual layer I believe) and I pretty much doubt they could fit them into one mini DVD.

Next is what I consider the big deal, first... the development this gen didn't start for all the platforms, it came as a Ps2 exclusive and then Microsoft scored a port, that was also made for the PC. but those were direct ports from the Ps2 version, if they were all done from the ground at the same time I wouldn't be surprised if even GC got a release.

Most of the GTA buyers this generation were kids, because it is a trend, Rockstar may say Nintendo is kiddy, but infact they just know what their major public is, and Nintendo are the eldest gamers in the industry, most of us don't give a damn about GTA so I believe it would have lackuster sales.

Rockstar certainly did market studies so they should know better.

You've got a point about disk space, I think this is why people are worrying so much about the 360 version and how it could possibly be on multiple disks.

I'd like any RE to be remade for the Wii as long as it offers the shoulder perspective from RE4.

I can't imagine a AvP RTS though. There were FPS incarnations before and if WinXP would allow me to run AvP2 Gold I would do so. But what do you imagine a RTS to be like - I can only picture a Starcraft clone.

Isn't there already a AvP RTS on PS2? I swear i've heard of one.

I know the chances of those games being made are slim, but one can still dream. Theirs a RTS AvP game for the xbox and the PS2, but I heard that it sucks. Maybe if they put it on the Wii it won't be as bad.

You're very fucked up

I want that damn Final Fantasy 7 remake if there is one, it would make the most sense to release it on the Wii.

1. Square-Enix don't have to spend years and millions on a game that might do worse on the PS3 than it did on the Playstation.

2. The Wii could give the game something new with it's controller, and maybe the new real-time system could be implemented into it to give the game something fresh.

3. Xbox 360 would not be a good idea because Final Fantasy XI was a failure on it and the Japanese market don't like it that much.

4. If Final Fantasy 3 is a phenomenal success on the DS then things look hopeful for the Wii.

Meh, I don't mind them making it, but I won't be using it much. At home I already have my computer which has much higher resolution etc, while on the go I usually don't carry around my laptop altough I more then often have my DS with me, so I'll probably use the DS version more.

hmm 3 games lets see now

1. nights sequel or the original remake i want to know what the fuss is about
2. i like the idea of res 2 and 3 being remade res4 style that would be awesome
3.command and conquer game the wii is made for RTS games

InvaderElmo
26-06-2006, 08:30 PM
While the Wiimote helps make RTS more plausible on Wii, the non-HD output hurts. While this could be worked out with good game design, any RTS game made for Wii might look like a step backward from PC games.

I am still holding out for a release of XCOM: UFO Defense, though.

While I was at work I thought of another game I want to see on the Wii.
A sequel to one of my favorite games of all time "Zombies Ate my Neighbors".
Good zombie carnage mixed with humor.

Zombie_Fan

The original Zombies Ate my Neighbors had 55 levels. The sequel will have 100 or more levels. It will have new weapons, huge level areas and a creepy re-mix of the classic sound track.

I have nothing against Stocka. Lets get back to the original discussion.

Any ways I always had this idea of a game based of the movie "Blade Runner".
I know that their is already a game of "Blade Runner", but this version will use almost every function possible that the Wii has to offer.

The Bard

Blade runner sure was a strange movie, and I'm not sure whether it could be made into a game or not.

Blade Runner
This game is a future crime story

-Investigate crime scenes, have intense gun fights with criminals, interact with a large assortment of characters, and wander around freely in the huge future city of LA.
-Get around the city by foot or use your hover car.
-The Wiimote speaker can be used for sounds such as a gun recoiling, a shell leaving the gun, ect.
-Have the same aiming system as Resident Evil 4.
-Connect your DS to your Wii and use your DS as a scanner, video phone and other cool tech from the movie.

I think of the Wiimote speaker as Nintendo’s extension to surround sound. I think it makes up for no 5.1.

A Bladerunner game could be pretty cool. I just finished reading the book, the original title was Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep, and the thing of hunting down Androids is pretty interesting. I really like your ideas and driving a hovercar *drools* :D
Imagine there's a list of Androids you have to retire and you go around the city looking for clues. Then there's say ten who look exactly like your target only that they are legally on earth and owned by someone and you have to find that out too.

Then some of them conceal themselves as humans and try to kill you while others hide in abandoned buildings...

I hope you're not trying to say that you thought Shenmue was released for Sega Saturn?

Anyway, Shenmue 3 would make me buy ANY console. Announce shenmue for ps3, and I'll pay the price for the console. But shenmue 3 for wii would make sense. Shenmue graphics with a slight upgrade = Best wii graphics so far. But I'd rather have it using the classic controller, thought it *could* be interesting with the wiimote, if done right.

I'm not sure on what Capcom have in store for the Revolution but I have heard that Capcom has heard Okami talk and has looked into that possibility. Also Shinji Mikami is working on at least one exclusive for the Revolution.

Yeah, it was some kind of adventure game a bit like those Lucasarts games but with some weird action in it too.

It's a pretty decent game. I own it for the PC. Very atmospheric, with the rain beating down on nighttime streets. That bit with the rat in the sewer though - man that was crazy. It's a fixed-view third-person game with puzzle and action intertwined. Frustrating at times though.
