View Full Version : Inventions you want to copyright

Got any cool Ideas of Inventions that seem so probable you would like to copyright them? (But obviously can't because you have no money to make the invention etc.)
I would love to make a Blog camera.
Take a picture(s), Find a hotspot, Upload your picture(s).
No need for a Pc.
What would you guys invent?

I think there's one of those out already, it has WiFi in it so you can upload your pictures to somewhere. Probably a site like Flickr. I can't remember where I saw it though.

I would make the Slinky Banker Assassin.
Basically it would be a slinky that comes around the corner/down stairs/whatever. Sprout some arms and an Uzi Nine Millimeeetaaah, say "No Deal bitch", and blow them away.

I think they sell those at ToyNguns.. but I'm not sure if they have the Uzi version.

Some sort of new energy that would prevent pollution and stop or slow down global warming.

No, but I did, years ago.
I used to use a sandwich toaster, with it's hind legs under a book so the juices flowed out to cook meat.

Wireless plugs. Plug your Wii (for example) into the mains wirelessly. The plug would have converter in it, which could convert the Voltage into light pulses (or similar) and transmit it to the Wii which would have another converter plugged into it to convert back to to voltage.
Its quite difficult to make, but I do have a basic design which a colleague and I preliminarily designed last year.
Imagine the possibilities. No more wires from any electronic device, televisions, computers, even fridges and washing machines

Sounds like shit to me.
Converting electicity to light is easy enough but converting it back again would mean an incredible energy loss.

And it wouldn't it sort of, super-heat the air between the mains and the Wii?

Why not try some sort of magnetic field, not sure how it would work, as you would need some form of k.energy to induce a current...

Indeed Rokhed is quite correct, but there are ways around it (expensive ways, but ways none the less), however wireless plugs is something for a future technology to be able to solve economically.

Electro-magnetic field "could" work. Like the magnetic field created by the power plug turns a dynamo in the piece of equipment and creates power.
Though any other kind of electrical equpiment would get ruined like HDD's. And wires inside electrical equipment would move due to F=BIL.
Wireless power is hard to create. We aren't anywhere near the technology to create it. If we were then rockets wouldn't need that big ass tank of fuel attached - the electrical energy would just be transported to it.

due to F=BIL.
Do not remind me of that1!! (Had my last A-level physics exam today, was expecting loads of capacitor stuff, and instead it was all particle accelerators and magnetic feilds, though luckaly it wasn't to hard a paper).

I didn't actually read it, so it might be completely different from what you're suggesting. It's a very good idea though, the only downside I can think of is the light reflecting off them at awkward angles for drivers.

the three way scissors. basicay its an ormal pair of scissors, but with added 2 sicking out both sides, i always used to dream about it and wondered what the fuck it was.
In the dream i would be cutting something then i would look across and see that i had cut through the thing on the extra cuting bit, then i would wake up.
id just like to share that with you.
oh yeah you could add more on, so it could be loads and loads of scissors in one. 1 hand, 12 scissors.

I'd like to copyright a double sided "squishy" ketchup bottle. It really annoys me when you have some ketchup left at the bottom, but you can't squish it out. If it was double sided, you would not have this problem.

Dream recorder.
Funnily enough, it's already been done to some extent, and I kid you not. A conducting pad is attatched directly above the frontal lobe, and electrical signals within your brain are measured and recorded. Certain frequencies are associated with certain feelings or events, so these can be linked to certain keywords. You never really forget dreams, they are embedded in your subconscious (which is why you have the same dream more than once), so when these keywords are spoken they act as stimulus to make you remember the dream. It's not very accurate, but it's been known to work although I doubt it's what you had in mind ::shrug:

As for me, i'd like some sort of tablet you can take that stops facial hair growing for like a month. I despise shaving.
Also, a tablet you can take that protects your skin from the sun for a day. I also despise applying suncream.

Simulating gravitation in a Spaceship. Although I can only picture it using some sort of magnet but I think constant exposure to a magnetic field isn't too healthy.

Gravity can already be simulated by using centrifugal force (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centrifugal_force). Spin a space station around fast enough, and you can simulate Earth gravity (1G).

Yes I know, therefore I was referring to a spaceship.
Although it should actually be possible on a spaceship too by constantly rotating it. But it wouldn't be as maneuverable then and need more fuel for evasive maneuvers or course changes.

That is fucking genius.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
Stupid idea: There are no cakes that incorpirate the great taste of lard. Therefore I propose a lard flavour cake. :santa:
(I'm joking, by the way)
Clever idea:
I have an idea for a totaly, totaly instant communication device. It would be all but useless here on earth when you wish to talk to somone else on earth. However, for communication through space, which light (and therefore radiowaves) take a while to travel through due to the fucking massive distances involved, this would be perfect.
It works by through sister particles.
Wtf:wtf::wtf::wtf:, you say.
The first, and hardest, step is to seperate two particles (or more, for communicating with multiple people with one device) from the same nucleus. This is done by using fuck-loads of energy, and then you contain them seperatly and in a vacum, using a large amount of lead (mmm...lead...) and a vacum pump.
Now for the communication part:
Send one particle to, let's say, Mars. Keep the other one here.
Using an electromagnet, or some other means, you move one of the particles in one direction, and the sister particle will do the exact opposite.
Instantly.
This could be used to send a digital signal (as it is always "on" or "off") very, very quickly across massive distances.
Glasses with a HUD on them...
I'd have mine with crosshairs n stuff.
This is possible. Simply have a laser going down the firearm's sight, which is then wirelessly transmitted to the glasses. They then calculate the relative position of the weapon, and which direction they are pointing.
You could just get a red-dot lasersight, though...
Oh, and who ever came up with the idea of the windtubines with solar panels on broad blades should follow that up. It is a bloody good idea.

Out of curiosity, why aren't the particles affected by moving one of them to mars? How is any of this supposed to work?
My idea- superhero conversion kit. Consists of miniaturised kangaroo boots (these are the things that let even fat people frontflip over the world highjump record), a cape, gloves and shoes that stick to most surfaces, such as the sides of buildings and a posing pouch.

I explained that in the most basic understandable terms, I could explain it in more depth, but it would be very very complex.
They would be affected, but until whoever you are sending it with got there, don't bother listening to anything they sent, as it would be a constant signal that would be the same.
It would work, trust me.

I only ask as what you are mentioning seems to be possible right now- breaking particles from a nucleus happens all the time, particle accelerators can presumably handle it, vacuums are available and lead...well everyone has some lead.
If you just happen to be some physics boff with a PHD, then I'll leave it.
