I remember I got so scared at night when I was young that I would have to leave the light on when I went to sleep and repeatedly say to myself "there's no such thing as monsters" :woops: :heh:

I hid under the covers and shook til I slept. :)

I always used to go outside in the rain with my t-shirt on, no wonder I was always ill.

I use to run around my garden for hours playing football on my own, pretending I was in a real match and was the whole team.Had two goals set up and everything and acted as if it was all real.

I used to pretend i was a pop/rock star. I even recorded myself on tape singing various songs that were big at the time. Very, very embarassing stuff! I hope those tapes aren't still in the house.:red:

Hehe, that's funny, anyway, me and my cousins in Pakistan, (where houses are frickin massive) we used to run off to this abandoned cornfield near our house and there was this one massive tree that was like the grail to climb, anyway, one day, we found a couple of absolutely filthy matresses in a shack nearby and stacked them underneath this tree, and took turns climbing it and then jumping down onto the matress from like a 30-40 feet drop (I dono, it sure seemed that way because we were so small), unfortunately my cousin landed on his feet, slipped and cracked his ankle, and we had to carry him home which was a bitch because it was like a mile away, and the whole time he was crying and screaming like hell, and in the end we had to say that he fell down a manhole lol (and I think they believed us), because they would kill us if they found out what we were really doing. We were 5 or 6 at the time I think. Then next year I moved to this rancid hellhole you call endland. Damn. Those were the good old days *nostalgic smile*...Although thinking about it, it sure was lucky we didn't impale ourselves on the matress springs...

I used to lick bricks. I would go out of my way, to get to buildings, and lick their bricks. I was also the popular kid, and knew people from all the years. This meant that licking bricks soon gathered a following, and I had my very own cult. A cult that would look forward to simply, licking bricks.

Never again.

I used to record radio shows (sarkas_girly say nothing, or else :heh:) and I pretended I was a TV presenter. I had 3 studios and one of them closed down. It was a sad sad day.

Let's see here.

- Climbed on the back of the local milk float and jumping off as it sped along the road.

- Threw an innocent kid's shoe down the drain.

- Threw Ghostbusters toys down the drain in the hope they would come out of the toilet.

- Rearranged the letters on my Commodore 64 (I think it was one) keyboard alphabetically.

- Mean to my brother, who used to want to hang out with me and my friends but I told him he couldn't. Now he's infinitely cooler than I am.

- Stopped caring about school and emerged from it a complete failure.

- Started using the Internet and going on chat a lot.

- Mistreated hamsters, resulting in their deaths.

My God, the list just goes on and on. I add to the "stupid things I've done" list almost daily.

When i was 8-10 i must have spent about £400+ on Pokemon cards.

Then in the beginning of Year 7 people started playing Yu-Gi-Oh in my year, thank God it died before I spent too much.

I spent god-awful loads of money on those Pokemon cards too. Then they got banned at my school and the craze died out.

What are Tazos?!?!

Arragaun
18-06-2006, 04:51 PM
They were like Pogs, only with Taz on them. I had more Pogs than Tazos, cause crisps were banned in my house.

Tellyn
18-06-2006, 04:53 PM
Tazo's didn't have Taz on them! They were little disks that had images from Star Wars, Pokemon or other franchises on.

You used to get them in Watsits (the cheesy crisp-like things).

Yep, and Walker's crisps. I think they were stopped because they were in among the crisps. I almost ate Luke Skywalker.

I used to do the exact same thing - don't feel so stupid now!

I remember after the 94 (I think) cup final when United beat Chelsea 4-0 I went outside and replayed the match with myself, even though it was absolutely tipping down with rain!

The Pokémon card thing only really died down because of the summer holidays of 2000...there was not as much activity due to that, so it went downhill. That's what I believe anyway, since it's what happened :heh:

I once (actually it was twice) stuck something into the top part of a 3pin plug socket so it opened up the two below.

I proceeded to stick two pieces of metal into them and then grabbed them to see what would happen....yes i was electrocuted, no i wasn't injured or knocked out or anything, it only lasted for about a second before i left go.

I think the first time i did this i was 8, then i did it again when i was 11... and yes i did still have the memory of the first time i did it when i did it the 2nd time.

although, i can't remember why i thought it was a good idea or why i did it again 3 years later knowing what would happen :heh:

Another Charlie and the Chocolate Factory related incident: Putting chewing gum behind my ear to save it for later. Not a good idea. It got stuck in my hair and it took a lot of hair pulling to get it all out...

I laughed at that.

When i was a small little piece of human meat i decided i had to defecate in my house's carpet, and then proceeded to spread it with my hands.

And i also tried to analyse the interior of my old VCR putting a toothbrush in the VHS slot.

But I suppose that's why not much scares me any more.

I once went through a weird period where I was convinced that the world was going to end. Not tommorow or anything you understand, but I got convinced I would be forced to witness it within my own lifetime after reading a Focus science magazine article, which totally terrified me. I now accept the fact that it could happen at any moment anyway. I seem to recall being pretty messed up in general. Weird times, weird times.

When i was in 3rd or 4rd grade me and my class mates thought it would be really fun to start throwing rocks at the school (it was a seperate building with some plastic thing covering it so every rock left a mark) and i saw a shoe on top of the building and i thought it would be brilliant idea to use a big rock to get the shoe of the building, i ended up breaking a double-glass window and noone beleived my noble story of trying to saving the shoe :nono:

Not so much a kid or that long ago I must say but I used to pull up girls skirts at school, and in some cases pull down their underwear. I did that on and off between the age of, like 6 to 13, to girls who did something annoying to me so as far as I was concerned it was justified. Looking back I was such a twit back then. I got a few cautions from the house master. Some girls really hated me for it and one girl I met last year still held grudge against me for exposing her in the class.

when i was in the lower years at primary school my friend put a piece of string in his mouth so i ran up to him and pulled it, ending up with him pulling his tooth out.
Also, me and two other friends found loads of heavy duty tape and those poly filler tubes which we stuck the tape to the road then stuck the tubes to the tape, as we thought a car would get stuck then spin out of control....it didnt work however it did make a few cars stop (not because of the tape) a old guy got out and told us to pick them up so we just ran off.
Finally i also used to do that voice recording thing which i copied from Home Alone 2 where he record his voice, rings the hotel and books a room. However i didnt do it to hotels just typed in random telephone numbers.
