Holy crap, for 30 degrees it's way too hot out here in Manchester, of course that could be because of Britain's distinct lack of an ozone layer, but you never know.

How has it been where you are?

Was so tired this noon that I went to sleep only to wake up in a pool of my own sweat 50 minutes later....

Also, on a side note: 1-0 Woot!!!!!111!!!one.

Well...Heaton Norris in Stockport, I'm not sure whether that's classified as being in Manchester...?

Also, yeah, the weather can be nice, I love the spring months, It's not too hot it's not too cold, but it's always sunny...but today's just been unbearable...I suppose it'd be great if I was walking around in a banana hammock...

Edit: Haha, yeah, the match was great! Becksy scoring in 3 minutes and I was like, this ones in the bag, but Sven decided to be a jackass and take Owen out, wtf was that about? Crouch was a bit of a joke aswell tbh...

Last week was pretty hot here too, 35+ ºC, It convinced my parents to give me a air-conditioner for my room. I couldn't even sleep at 4 am with 30º.

Today is a nice breze with 22º.

The weather is getting really weird, last year we saw a peak in summer temperatures with 40+ºC and a peak in winter temperatures with, -0º it even snowed :bouncy: , I never saw snow before. :D

It had about 25° today in Dornbirn.
I'm so glad it got warm again only about a week ago it snowed down to under 1000 meter and I pulled out my winter jacket again.

Have you ever tried P20 or P25? Its a sports sun oil. Gives water proof protection for the whole day. Apply it in the morning a half hour before you go out and if you feel the nees once again later on. Works amazingly!

Edit:

Actually depending on the SPF of the sunscreen you use all of them let in a certain amount of the cancer causing UV rays. With SPF 20 and above you are looking at blocking out over 95% of them. You can never be 100% safe.

I don't like the heat. It's not that I feel, except at night, then it really pisses me off.

I spent my week on a beach in Newquay in jeans. Just because I can. The weird thing is my brain doesn't seem to register the heat, but my body does. I can feel a moderate temperature but my back does a niagra falls impression. That's also annoying, it's just about the only part of my body which sweats.

Bring on winter.

i wasn't trying to make it sound that way - sorry if it did. I was just pointing out that the P20 stuff let's through some cancerous sun-rays (I was told) and how I wont be using it anymore since I don't want to increase my chance of getting cancer - as its a terrible thing to have. Yeh that is pretty annoying, but its kinda natural. If people are freezing their balls off in the winter of course they would want the weather to be warmer, just not to the extent of 30 degrees IMO. In a perfect world, summer for me would be around 15-20 degress with some goddamn wind.

I think you'll find a lot of the time, it's not the same people complaining. In Winter the people that like summer complain in summer the people that prefer it cold complain. At the end of the day we're a nation of complainers.

Personally I like it better when its a bit cold. I can wear a coat, wrap up warm and use a big duvet at night, and I don't moan about it when it's cold, cus I can just use central heating or put on more clothes. When it's hot I can still be hot even when wearing just some shorts. I do like summer days but the nights are horrible.

Never again!!!! :D

I just got back from airsofting (like paintballing but for the hard-core!).

Anyway I started off with a tacvest, T-shirt, bdu shirt (the balacvla and kevla helmet were not even taken out of the bag). That soon went down to just a T-shirt (and sometimes with tac vest), it was a jugment between pain or overheating/coolness.

Anyway running around from 9am to 4:30pm (with breaks of course), carrying my almost 4kg rifle, 1kg pistol, and some rounds about 3kg worth of tac vest. Talk about nackering. I must have drunk about over 3 litres of water.

It was 32*c, way to hot to be doing anything.

Edit: (good fun though)

And to make things worse I got just over 4 hours sleep last night, and hardly any the 2 night before, and my upstairs is like an oven, becuase I'm looking after my sisters cat; which means NO windows can be open. (It's a 'indoor' cat).

Guh! It's so gray, yet so hot where I am. It's been grey and raining on and off for weeks now. Dammit, I can't wait until Autumn.

Dull and foggy oop north today, quite a relief! Still warm, but it's taken the edge off it a bit and there's a cooling mist everywhere. Got a feeling we might get thunderstorms later, hell of a downpour day before yesterday after hours and hours of beaming sun!

No i wont be fine, everyone is different and i for one cant handle the heat... i had to put factor 50 babies sun cream on myself on sunday when i was at hyde park... i still went a little pink. My skin is not made for the sun.

I also hate being hot and sticky, just gets me fed up... sleeping at nights is ridiculous, windows open, fan on, still baking and cant get any shut eye which is no good when im on earlies and have to get up at 5am!!!

Bring on the thunderstorms that are heading London's way. That'll cool it down a little..

Yeah, I suppose it was good outside, it was pretty intolerable in the house though.

To that guy (:heh:) what book were you reading?

Deception Point. It's pretty good, though not nearly as gripping as The Da Vinci Code.

I dont agree, i personally find it easier to get warm than i do to cool down...In the winter you can whack the heating on, get all snuggled up under your bed covers whack a jumper on etc the list goes on...ahh nice and warm...

In the summer to get cool you can have a cold shower then be boiling again straight after.... have a fan on you constantly which just generally blows warm air in your face.... you get all hot a sticky which isnt very nice around the ladies.

The only good thing is my work has air con... love it there but when i come out the trains/tube and buses are unbearable...
