More Hard Drive Questions lol

ok i know i made a thread abuot this on C-E but i have one more questions and might think of more lol but my current question is can i install programs on external hard drives? like itunes, google earth, trillian, microsoft word, etc. and have them stilll work or will they have to be on the regular hard drive to work?

You can install them on there fine and they will work..

One thing you want to be careful of is having the external drive turned off/disconnected and having a program rely on it being there -- also make sure the drive comes back up with the same letter each time you reconnect

If it changes, you can change it easily enough in Disk Management.
