SLI enabeled 7800's... dual monitor?

As most of you are probably aware, the 7800's can be SLI enabeled. Some of you may know something about multi-monitor support, and that you can connect each monitor up to a seperate graphics card.

But what I want to know is is it possible to make them SLI enabeled AND connect each to their own monitor? Or would I have to just use each seperately for each monitor but not have them connected...

You should be able to or maybe you use both on one card? Should be possible. Alot of driver tweaks have been made for 7800 such as mixing different brands and speeds.

i think useing the two cards together on two moneters was one of the goals of the 7800gtx
