Hi I am thinking about buying splintercell for the ds. Have heard mix reviews on the game . I have heard the worst bit is the framerate. Apart from that is it not a bad game?
Thanks

Look, the game is meant to be average at best, so why bother?
I'd rather spend it on some great DS games, and even if you have most of the best ones now, save up your money because its worth waiting for all the biggies instead of getting splinter cell(Metroid, mario bros, mario kart, animal crossing, sonic rush, etc.)

I would say save your money and use it on a pre-christmas release like Kirby, Lost In Blue or something like that.
I borrowed a copy of Splinter Cell from work, and although it was a great attempt at a port, it still isn't suited to the platform. Bad controls are the biggest problem, making it extremely fiddly when swapping visors/weapons etc.
There will most likely be another Splinter Cell released in the next year or two, so it may be worth holding out for that.

Someone i Know is selling ti for £8 is it not worth that?
I was going to get Splinter Cell DS but i decided not too. For £8 though you probably can't go wrong!
I was loving Advance Wars but it's so damn hard, and really difficult games put me off a little, still great though!
Meteos really didn't do alot for me, i imported it, played it a couple of times, then sold it on. It's not bad, but it just wasn't my thing at that time.
Castlevania is looking good, it's just the lifespan i'm worried about. So i would consider this.
:D
For £8 why not. Although, if you were to buy it at full price I would say just go out and buy a really good gameboy Advance game that you missed out on. :)

Wha? Harder than the final battle of the first game, where your screen was almost overwhelmed with evil troops, and there was no where you could be that was safe and which decended into hours and hours of war of attrition, just like a long and more painful World War One???? Surely not!
