I`m a HARDCORE fan of One Piece & I`m very interested in this game.
I`d like to play as Zoro, holding two Wiimotes in may hands & one in my mouth ( Like the hell that would happen )

If Zoro is playable, then all the Mugiwaras are, or atleast I guess.

IGN's impressions above, it seems ok, sounds like a huge playing area which is good, I hope you get wind waker sailing from island to island, but with one piece huge monsters etc taking you on, that would be sweet!:)

Man that game looks sweet, but im still unsure about it.

What sort of game is it? It looks like an RPG but then it looks like a fighting game.

I saw fishing, bug catching and the use of a pickaxe, is this actually an RPG or not?

I didn't really care about this but the gameplay footage is actually pretty good! Should sell well in Japan me thinks, and should drive lots of Anime lovers to the Wii.

Wii are adventurer !! --> Now it all comes together for me. With a title-tune like "We are", how could they NOT make a game for Wii, even just to make the "Wii are" pun.
One Piece is really great, and it looks like this game has the potential to be really great too.

Been playing the US import for a while. Love the style and graphics in the game. But the game it self is a bit shallow. Still a good game if you are a one piece fan though.

They use "Gum Gum Pistol" actually. Most of the attack names are kept the same as the Japanese versions as well.

Ah, so they're using the new funimation dubs instead of the 4kids dubs? ok... a bit more interested. Perhaps if I stumble accross £40 at some point :)

I think they did actually. I know they kept those attacks the CP9 used the same.

But anyways, what is Bandai Namcos website anyway? I e-mailed the US one and they told me to got to the UK site. But the UK site just lists arcade machine games.

This truly does suck! I may have to import a game for the first time with my Wii. Regardless of what the games like, its fan service, and with that in mind, from all the trailers and videos I've seen, I'd enjoy it.

I'd imagine so, yes. It might mean that Bandai won't even release it in the US. Not unless FUNImation push them to do it.

It's just plain stupid not releasing it in Europe considering just France is the second worldwide market for mangas just behind Japan. Add other countries and I think you got a lot of potential buyers. :indeed:
They don't even have to make dubs for the game since most anime watchers prefer japanese voices and not the truly awful french ones (and One Piece is one of the worst for that)... don't know if dubbers are also lazy in other countries.
