They were both interested in putting them both in the same game for those who didnt know, you reckon theres a chance of it still happening?

I agree, I´m not fond of Sonic and I´m really not that into the idea of having Mario and Sonic in a game together. Smash Bros spots for Sonic and co. are fair to make the game "deeper". Would be fun to see Mega Man and other gems.

But a Mario & Sonic game... Nah, not for me :hmm:

Sonic sucks in 3D whereas Mario rocks. Put these together and you get a mediocre game. No thanks.
