There's no difference if you're left handed or not you just need to slash the controller, the only thing is that Link is holding the sword in his right hand. Gameplay wise it bears no difference.

If was only that it wouldn't make sense they changing the version of wii to a mirrowed one!

Ya I knew that thanks Dante. :heh: I was just saying that there is blood in this game.We don't know for sure; might be only for one (or a few) cutscenes (like Ganon in OoT), or... they might even have considered the classic zelda style model tinting (Link blinking from red to normal) to be "animated blood", it's really that vague. If was only that it wouldn't make sense they changing the version of wii to a mirrowed one!The reasoning behind it was that most people are right handed, so it would feel more natural to them, there's no real problem in controlling it with other hand though.

Or get a big mirror and put it next to the telly.Besides, even if Nintendo doesn't throw the option in (really easily done), I'd bet gameshark could make it possible.
Also, Shigeru Miyamoto is left handed, so there's no way a thing that would harm the experience for left handed people would pass. He actually said he can't go back to the GC control scheme now.
(He can equaly use his right hand for most things, though).

Well, i believe that i won't have too much troubles. I will only need time to get used to gamplay. I do a lot a things with my right-hand that i normally would do with the left, so i'll get used to it.

OMG!!!
There's a huge preview in the New edge.... they seem to absolutely love it.
They do completely tell you the first six hours of the game plot though... which annoyed me a bit...
BUT
They also said that six hours doesn;t even really get the game going... how huge is it?
Also... that Twilight princess gives you more to do in its introduction than most other zeldas have by their third dungeon!

The Twilight Realm sucks the life out of living creatures and turns them into something else.
They claim that while traveling to Hyrule Castle, Link is pulled into the Twilight Realm and turned into a Wolf (Edge said after being ambushed by the Moblins).
Midna approaches Link in his cell and promises to help him return his world to normal.
Wolf Link can climb up cliffs.
You use the A button to leap from branch to branch in Ordon Woods as Wolf Link.
People absorbed into the Twilight Realm are actually "still there". They're just phased out so nobody can see them.
You use the "sense" ability to sniff these beings who are sucked into the Twilight Realm out and "see" them, as well as to find hidden objects. It works like the Stone of Agony from Ocarina of Time, which utilized the Rumble Pak.
Wolf Link will be able to travel between the Twilight Realm and the normal world, confirming Wolf Link can exist outside the Twilight Realm (as Edge reported).
He can earn this ability by seeking out the "Twilight Spirit" - a being even the "Twilight Guardians" bow down to.
"Midna can exist outside the Twilight Realm in the strictest sense" is explained. Midna can't live outside the Twilight Realm, but you can summon her spirit outside of it for help (this is why Wolf Link doesn't have Midna on his back at all times).
The Wolf sections were not open to play to the press, Nintendo wants to keep it a secret to everyone (this means IGN probably won't play them, either - I seriously think IGN and other press will just play the beginning area and the first temple next week).
To date, NOBODY outside of Nintendo's employees have played anything in the Twilight Realm.
The Twilight Guardians are those "black" creatures.
http://www.thehylia.com/media/albums/userpics/10001/tp_guardians.jpg
Nintendo wants to make it clear that they will NOT be releasing much information about the game beyond this update and what American press will experience next week. They want everyone to just have enough info to make a purchase decision, but they insist on preserving the experience - so fans freaking out about spoilers - Nintendo has your back. ONM promises a huge, spoiler free review next month.

That's all well and good for the Americans, but the Internet's going to be a spoiler minefield for three weeks before we get it.
Besides, if Matt from IGN is going to get 48 hour with the game next week, it means there'll be loads of spoilers coming our way soon, unless he and the rest of the press who get to play it are made to sign NDAs.

RUMOUR, WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILER [IF LEGIT]:
1st Twilight Princess Review Scores POSSIBLY REVEALED: 9.5, 9.5 & 10/10 if this is legit it equates to 29/30, divide that by 3 to get the final score which is 9.66/10 for the 1st review score. Not good enough, JUST falls a bit short of the 9.7 minimum benchmark I expect this game to achieve but its early days yet, after that single review score, it ain't too far away from the 97.8% average ratio score of Ocarina of Time but Wind Waker in comparison from EGM got 9.83 out of 10, a difference of 0.17. A supposedly inferior game scoring higher, not a good sign for Twilight Princess, as everything but the scores in regards to this mag [including the Halo 3 leak and cover has been confirmed to be legit], the only thing that hasn't are the review scores for Twilight Princess, Red Steel, Excite Truck and the rumour that Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming to 360 which would have a lot of Sony fanboys crying for a long time to come. As for the review if true that makes me happy. The EGM staff are arse holes anyway, I never take any of their scores or impresions to heart.
29/30 seems pretty good to be shame about the excite truck score though

That's all well and good for the Americans, but the Internet's going to be a spoiler minefield for three weeks before we get it.
Besides, if Matt from IGN is going to get 48 hour with the game next week, it means there'll be loads of spoilers coming our way soon, unless he and the rest of the press who get to play it are made to sign NDAs.
They won't sign NDA's they'll sign something else which has a press embargo date on it -so they can release so much info about the game on a daily basis up until launch

Hmm... I read a Danish review (that's where I'm from of course) about the last TP demo with the newest Wii controls... (really old info, I know!) they actually didn't like it too much... They said the sword fighting was kinda boring when it didn't matter how you swing the wiimote. And that the aiming with the bow, boomerang and clawshot was problematic, when enemies and stuff were at the edge of the screen, sometimes making the aiming thing dissapear when you went too far away. It was problematic in places where you had to react fast.
Of course, I've always been a bit unsatisfied with the whole idea with TP for the Wii and the new controls, but still... it's still a bit tempting to buy it... Garrrr! :horse: Damnit! ... I wish we could see just one more video of TP for Gamecube! Just 20 seconds gameplay or something... it's been a while since they've shown anything about the Gamecube version. It's not fair, now that Wii is stealing the spotlight! :nono:
I'm gonna buy TP for Gamecube, and make it go out with a blast! Unless! I get to try the Wii in some store when it's released, and think that TP is absolutely best for the Wii. But I doubt it... :hmm: I think you have to experience the controls for yourself though, if you really wanna know...
But it's tempting... with the Wii having a tiny bit better graphics and that widescreen crap feature... It just seems at the moment that Nintendo only have been working on the Wii version, so I REALLY don't hope that they've forgotten about the Cube version too much... :o

Not when you're *not targeting something, but just aiming your bow. If you go too fast, let's say, to the right where a huge monster is coming for you, you might move the wiimote too far and a text will suddenly pop up and say "Please aim the Wiimote at the screen", that can be a problem sometimes, instead of Link just aiming more to the right... :horse:

If you expect the sword fighting to be incredibly realistic, you'll probably be disappointed. But if you compare it to just pressing a button, it's going to be damned much sweeter, and you know it. Just flinging your wrist around a bit and watching Link slash with his sword on screen is going to kick ass for me, anyway. It depends on what you expect from it, really.

Still, I think you'll get tired from seeing Link do vertical swings, horizon and staps just by doing a little flick with your mote... no matter how you flick it, it doesn't matter anything to what Link will do just that he'll swing his sword in some way.
I think in someways you'll get dissapointed after hearing that the wiimote will make it so much more awesome and realistic... of course the fishing part is something for it self. That, I'm really gonna miss for the Cube version :hmm:
Many prefer it in the old school way, with the controller, like myself! It's how every Zelda game has been played... :)

So, you say you'll get more tired from seing Link to the exact same swings time after time just because you're swinging your own wrist instead of pressing a button? Sorry, but that makes no sense. Also, I've never gotten tired of repeative sword swings in previous Zelda games. Sure, the way Link swings his sword won't correspond with the way you fling your wrist, but it'll vary just as much as it will when you're pressing the button.
I just think it's gonna be awesome to simply fling your wrist and see something happen on screen. That's all I expect.
I can understand if you're not getting a Wii yet, that you'd get the Cube Zelda, but if you are getting a Wii I'd advise you against it.

So why not just press a button instead of doing small flicks all the time?
In theory, it's the same thing. Press the same button or doing the same flick. I'm just saying that most people are very hyped up about the Wii controls are going to be very realistic and cool, but that they might get dissapointed, that's all!
But I don't wanna discuss this anylonger, this sucks. People who want a Wii should definitely aslo buy TP for the Wii, and those who wanna stick to the old fashion way should have it for the Cube. Or maybe both, for those who are hardcore :awesome:

You don't have to flick the same way all the time.. I'd just take more pleasure in flinging my wrist back and fourth than pressing a button. You'll automatically feel more integrated, as it'll feel like simply the fact that you're moving your hand is what's affecting what Link does.

Of course the controls are going to be CRAP, all the journos haven't been playing anything new, its the same recycled demo thats been used for the past 5 to 6 months just with Wii Mote controls QUICKLY tacked on, it would've taken them about a week to tack it on last minute for the September events. The VERY fact that they used the same demo with the controls tacked on several months later suggests that minimal EFFORT was put into that demo and it was only set up in order to give the gaming public an IDEA of what to expect in the final game but wasn't a 100% accurate representation of what the final game will be like. These sorts of previews that we've seen up till now are insignificant, look out for Matts 48 hour preview conclusions coming up next week at IGN as he is playing the "FINAL BUILD" of the game. If the same issues are arisen in his evaluation of the game, THEN there is SERIOUS cause for concern. For now though, there is simply no justification for saying the games controls are going to be GUARANTEED INFERIOR and make the game less than spectacular based on a 6 month old rehashed demo, something that I admittadely have been guilty of. But thats just the fanboyism in me as a huge fan of the series, wanting the game to achieve all time greatness.

I can understand where people are coming from with their reactions though. Its hard not to show concern from the negative impressions that have arisen from playtests even though its been on that same DAMNED demo, after all, these people deep down just like everyone else, want to see this game achieve all time greatness, why would they complain otherwise [the few people that don't like the series excluded] But really, would it take Nintendo 4 months to implement the Wii Mote swining controls in a short demo? No and the quality of the mechanics emphasised this, that obviously minimal time was put into it [the public demo that is]. The final game will be a lot better than is indicated by the good ol' modified E3 demo. In regards to achieving all time greatness with aggregate review scores, unfortunately it probably won't by default due to higher expectations with the continual advancement of video game technology, the fact that some journos will not be able to shake off the feeling of the game not being a true Wii game and thus unncecessarily penalising the game for it [individualistic views will greately influence some scores more so than others] and also the fact that Zelda: OOT was such a phenominal game for its time setting an amazingly high target/benchmark for future games to achieve. It would be a fantastic achievement if this game can be placed within the top 5 rated games of all time considering the marking criteria of current generation games compared to previous generation games.

I didn't say that they were tacked on as an afterthought in the final game, but in the DEMO yes they are, because its a DEMO. A demonstration, an idea of what to expect in the final game. Yes they certainly would've taken the feedback from E3 and the internet to tweak the game, but this hasn't been represented in the recycled DEMO, the extent to which the controls have improved we'll see when the game releases, in my case, November 19th but for a true legitimate progress report, Matts 48 hour IGN reporting coming up towards the end of this week should give us a MUCH better idea to how much the controls have actually improved.

Edge Preview
"The message is clear, this time Nintendo has made a game unafraid to stand tall beside those two previous titles (OOT, LTTP) widely regarded as the greatest in a series of greats. This is no 'what if' whimsy like the WW or the minish cap. TP is Zelda by the book and there's every sign that it's the most involved, the most ambitious, the just plain biggest zelda there's ever been."
"The sheer amount of content in TP is overwhelming. It throws new skills, items and intriguing twists at you far faster than any zelda before it."
"Epona is no slender pony this time, instead a solid, gigantic, invincible animal."
During the first 6 hours you will have done more than the equivalent of 3 dungeons in on any other zelda game in terms of new items, skills etc.
The first dungeon reminiscent of the forest temple is
"though hardly hard, it's probably as involved and suprising as any other initial zelda dungeon, if not more so."
"you begin to get a sense of the sheer dizzying scope of TP, it threatens to be absolutely immense, an epic seldom rivalled in scale outside the rpg form (and never by another launch game) and loaded heavier than ever with items, details and possibilities as yet unseen in a test that made 6 hours feel like 6 minutes."
"It's almost forbidding, TP is certainly no populist rethink of zelda, in tune with the popular all cuddly all access Wii. It is instead an all guns blazing assault on the hardcore, a fanboys wet dream (if there's any worry at all it's that it might overburden itself)"
"That's reflected in the involved controls of the wii version, though not as off putting as the E3 demo, when introduced and gradually relaxed into over time, they are delicate, sometimes demanding and occasionally frustraing. Attack gestures flow beautifully, but are sticky to start and jumping to pointer aiming can be awkward and dis-orientating. "The message is clear, this time Nintendo has made a game unafraid to stand tall beside those two previous titles (OOT, LTTP) widely regarded as the greatest in a series of greats. This is no 'what if' whimsy like the WW or the minish cap. "It's almost forbidding, TP is certainly no populist rethink of zelda, in tune with the popular all cuddly all access Wii. It is instead an all guns blazing assault on the hardcore, a fanboys wet dream (if there's any worry at all it's that it might overburden itself)"
"That's reflected in the involved controls of the wii version, though not as off putting as the E3 demo, when introduced and gradually relaxed into over time, they are delicate, sometimes demanding and occasionally frustraing. tbh, when i pressed a button in OOT to swing the sword it felt nice, it felt like i was hitting the enemies. However if you think about it, now if you get angry at a boss, it wont reflect it on screen but you can pretend to actually hit the boss hard cos you hate him, witht he wiimote swinging it.
I agree with Yoshiking here, flicking the wiimote will be more satisfyling that pressing a button.
Just watched the Gametrailers Retrospectives 1,2 and 3. Fantastic, gives me a huge reminder of my love for the games and makes me even more excited for Twilight Princess.
Its a shame that they are full of mistakes. And "not playstation-quality graphics" for OOT????? WTF was he smoking?
If you expect the sword fighting to be incredibly realistic, you'll probably be disappointed. But if you compare it to just pressing a button, it's going to be damned much sweeter, and you know it. Just flinging your wrist around a bit and watching Link slash with his sword on screen is going to kick ass for me, anyway. It depends on what you expect from it, really.
Sorry to go way back in quoting is, but you are absolutely right!
The Wiimote was never intended to make games more realistic, but more fun through involvement in motion. The sheer fact that I can now do an actual martial artistic sword swipe to finish off a Moblin excites me so much for this game. I guess even OoT won't be the same again after I played this one.
Also, anyone claiming he's scared of getting tired while playing this game (which you won't as you're resting the Wiimote on your knee or lap) is quite simply showing what a wuss he really is.
I guess it's natural for Zelda fans to be conservative though, seeing what happened to Zelda II.

Jab forward with the nunchuck.
The sacred treasure the (first) dungeon yields, if one of three; this suggests an Ocarina-style structure to us, with a trio of dungeons pre-facing a second, grander quest. Consider that the route to the end of that dungeon is much longer and systematically more involved than that to the end of Ocarinas's Deku Tree, and you begin to get a dizzying scope of Twilight Princess
- Music is up there with the best of any Zelda games, veering into ominous, synthesised abstraction when in the Twilight.

There'll just be nothing underneath. The game would have to be rated mature otherwise, imagine small goblin enemies coming and smacking the horses waste disposer, the horse would complain and try to flick you off and you can lose health with the impact of the fall if you're unable to balance on the horse while it goes wild. Does the horse have a health bar as well, can it die leaving you horseless or will it just run away back to its stable where you'd need to physically go back there and feed it carrots or what not to restore it to full health again?
Also has it been confirmed whether you can mark your territory as a wolf, wolf piss and it keeps certain enemies away so you can use it as protection points for some rescue missions [similar to princess zora in OOT] in the game?
Jamba
30-10-2006, 08:38 AM
Erm how about the fact that Epona is either:
1) A girl horse
2) Androgenous because its sex is a completely irrelevant
Yeah, we need more horse dicks in the artwork !!11!
Ergh, Epona was female in OoT and MM so I assume she's female in this game too. The game would become pretty nasty considering the size of your average horse penis... I bet it would be very distracting while riding Epona.
I bet Miyamoto's choice of making Epona female in OoT was a measure not to waste so many polygons and physics calculation on that thing hanging underneath :nono:

Simply won't happen as its unrealistic with the standards set today in gaming. A lot of people will be crying come November 19 and be setting themselves up for GUARANTEED DISAPPOINTMENT if they expect Zelda to get perfect 10s and be guaranteed top spot for the greatest game of all time with aggregate review score rating. ALMOST willing to put $1000US bet on the fact that Twilight Princess won't surpass Ocarian of Time in terms of aggregate review score totals. Too many people will DELIBERATELY score the game lower due to personal biases, too HIGH expectations of the game, the fact that its perceived as a GC port even though technicaly it isn't and many other reasons. A more realistic achievement will be to TRY and aim for the game surpassing Resident Evil 4 with rankings, sneaking in the top 5 rated games on the NET. Although I, like most other people would REALLY like to see this game achieve all time greatness, the chances are slim. But you could say if games like Final Fantasy 12 can get 9.5+ on some sites, you'd like Twilight Princesses chance of getting 9 .7+ right?
MATT IGN BLOG EXTRACT: After criticising the controls for Wii Tennis & Baseball and complimenting the bowling controls, he goes on to say this at the end:
P.S. I'm in Seattle now and will start my love affair with Zelda: Twilight Princess tomorrow morning. I think I'm under embargo until Friday, but look out for some goodness by then. I have a feeling some media for the game may hit the Web first, though. So goodie, and stuff.

i love zelda dont get me wrong...but come on making zelda darker and more mature isnt going to make the game any better....it is a new coat of paint at best...the reason OOT was so great is because it was a perfect game of its time...great grapics, great controls, and everything felt new...majoras mask was a good game basicly the same engine but with a little bit of diffent stuff..like mask ant the time thing...but most people will say that OOT is better because of what it did to gameing...
think goldeneye for n64...not newer one eww...now alot of fps are better than it now but goldeneye was so good and changed gameing to some it is the best fps ever made...perfect dark was just as good if not better and it gets less respect...
thats why i say i really hope the give everything and more in this game to make it the best zelda ever i think they have to...giving more places to go and a bigger world isnt enough to make anyone have the feeling like omg!!!

Starts out with some Twilight Creatures in some sort of dark castle (Hyrule Castle?)
Goes to Cowboy Link, Epona, Colin and a couple of unidentified people. One has a sword. Epona's loaded up with wood for some reason or another. Colin goes with the man with the sword over a rope bridge, while Link (in his cowboy outfit) smiles at him.
Next up is the transformation sequence. Cowboy Link is walking through a path, when suddenly it turns into the Twilight Realm. He transforms into a Wolf, and is dragged away. We see Midna, and next wee some gameplay of Wolf Link and Midna attacking some Twilight Creatures. There's more gameplay, nothing particularily new but a town scene is shown with about 20 people in it, very impressive. Also, Link canoes down a rushing river, now in his classic outfit.
Few quick cuts of cutscenes, showing (among others) PRINCESS ZELDA! Zelda is casting some sort of elaborate spell, very pretty effects.
The trailer ends with Link pulling out the Master Sword and holding it up. The sword is quite a bit longer than any other game.

You guys are far too nervous about this. First of all, this game was delayed a year. Which means it's even better by now than it would've initially been. Also, people (like Shigsy) have said this is the most epic Zelda game of all time. Also.. Has anyone here EVER played a Zelda game that didn't send chills of awesome down your spine?
I certainly haven't. I strongly, strongly doubt they'll screw this up. Maybe it won't be as good as OoT (though I, personally, believe it will), but that doesn't matter, because it's going to be damned awesome anyway.
I've yet to read/hear a negative opinion from anyone who's played it, really. Though I may not have looked well enough.

Can't wait to see that trailer! It mus be awesome! About Twilight Princess being the best game ever! Just chill out people! I really don't know if it's goingo to be the best game, although i'm sure that this game has potential (a lot of it) but one thing i can garantee (or at least i think this way...)... This is probably, no doubt, the besta Zelda game ever.

to be honest wind waker didnt send chills of awesomeness....it was a great game but just nothing new..grapics changed yes and i loved them...the boat was differnt but it wasnt better than the horse..I think nintendo is going to do something really diffent with the next zelda cause they said this would be the last zelda like this right??
I think zelda has always been more than just a great game...it has been the best of its kind...now it seems like other games are to much alike it to feel great....and all this talk about a huge world makes me worry 2...Think about the fact that this is all running on a gamecube disc...resident evil 4 took up two disc...and if it is suppose to be more epic i wonder how empty the world will be...either empty or repative take ur pick...

Dude, it's Nintendo. Do you really thing they would disgrace a game like this just for that? Of course not! They know what they're doing. Don't worry on that....

I think Nintendo is great...do i think they will make a zelda game with a huge world that is empty? yes did u play wind waker? bigger isnt alway better thats all im saying...i would rather see the game being non stop fun then long...
and nintendo is great but they have been slacking in my option in trems of games...mario 64 and zelda OOT were great changed gaming....what have then given sence then...add a water backpack here...put mario in a baseball game...mario party 18 or what ever...zelda with better graphics bigger world same game play...I think the best game from nintendo last gen came out of retro.. metriod pime..why cause it gave a freash look at an old game...I just feel things getting a little to cookie cutter...i want them to break the mold and make everyone feel like when they frist started playing games...
on another note i hope that they have a hard mode in tp...i mean really hard cause i beat wind waker way to fast...i wasnt even trying to i just never died never had a hard time beating a boss...i was so used to the way the game went..

Ok, it's same old formula, true! But, don't you like it? That's why want this game so much! Because it's going to be the same old epic game... really beautiful! To be honest the most thing that i want for this game is a great story! Really, i'm not worry with better graphics or anything else! Althought i want to feel the new gameplay experience. This is a new thing, don't forget it! I played Wind Waker and it was a big world, and you right when you say that it was kind of empty! But Twilight it's going to have a lot of hours to play! It's the biggest zelda game ever!Don't think that they would make the same mistake.

o i do love the same old zelda..i do they is why i buy them all..and i will buy this one.....it has solid gameplay and i guess thats always a good thing...if its not broken dont fix it is nintendos way i guess...u cant be the best unless u push ur games tho and i dont feel that nintendo has done that sence the n64 era...the next wii zelda i am looking forward to more than tp and tp isnt even out yet...cause the next one nintendo said would be way diffent right or maybe i dreamed that?

Don't know... still is to soon to think about that one.
ok, just wonna know if there are any negatives to TP? can somone post all the negatives of the games that have been posted on the net by people who played the game?
i say this to bring down my personal expectation to low so that i would still be amaized when the game is released and doesnt live up to the hype (not that it wont)

You'll have your CONCRETE answer within a few days. The current criticisms are insignificant [mainly that the Wii controls don't feel truly superior to GC controls] because they're based on a 6 month old recycled demo. By the end of this week, Matt C from IGN amongst a few other select people will be playing TP for 48 hours, a review MATERIAL preview it will be. We'll truly see then if there are still issues with the game.

Wow you guys sure do whine a lot. In the defense of Link he is an elf, his foot work would be different than that of a human being. Also how many pound of equipment is he packing? I’d like to see you run like a prize athlete with all that on.:indeed:

He’s wearing a chain mail shirt, a shield, and a sword. Have you ever worn chain mail? It’s freaking heavy. Not to mention his sword is rather large. I doubt the shield is light either.

someone is taking this way to serious no?....u know that i was just trying to say that if weight was realisc in the game then it would be impossible for like to hold all he does...its not the reason he runs funny..i never even thought he ran funny to start with...just chill man its just a game its not real...link is not going to have back problems in the future cause his shild is to heavy..that would be pretty funny in the game tho haha if he hurt his back

I found that Miyamoto´s "sob story e-mails" thing kinda funny. :)
Funny how all the publicity art from Twilight Princess still has Link with his sword in his left hand, and his parting still on the 'old' side (just like in the final boxart).

WOah! Can't wait to see that new trailer! I just don't get how the Aussies get to see it first!?
I'm a little worried though that it might contain a bit too many spoilers... from that description, that was posted... I mean... actually seeing Zelda peforming magic! Link's very first transformation into the wolf, and Link pulling up the Master Sword... It might be a bit risky... hmm... But I just know I can't resist it... It just sounds too good to view another official Zelda TP trailer...! Wuuuh! Damnit... I'm just not strong enough... But who is!? :) ooooh... And we get to see a new town scene! Ooooh, my hands are shaking!
Ooooh, and several new screenshots too? Oh boy! Bloody good!!!! :D
It should be released by wednesday, tomorrow? Oh thank you God/Nintendo.... (whoever might be responsible for this :D)

That is one yes, but the one im listening to with all the names in japanese is from the Nintendo mag, before it went for ONM, ages ago. I'm not sure what the difference is, there might be some different tunes in it.

That attempt of getting the text out is alright, however you can see he's just smudged it awayon the bottom of the shield and his tights.

GamePro was recently invited to Nintendo of America to play Twilight Princess for five hours before anyone else in North America, and in their newest issue, they've decided to share their impressions of the final build with us. Again, this is just like the other Edge and ONM issues where it reveals quite a bit, but this time, they reveal info about the first dungeon, and more.
So, here's the basic information from the issue:
The Fairy Icon is still present in the final build.
You begin the game with a Slingshot to get you accustomed to aiming with the Wii Remote.
Soon after you receive your sword, Link is sucked into the Twilight Realm.
Wolf Link controls much the same as human mode, excep the D-pad activates Wolf Link's "animal sense".
"Sense" shrinks down your field of vision, but allows Link to see things that normal eyes could not.
One example given is the GamePro staff followed a scent trail of some kidnampped villagers.
Pushing on the direction pad also allows Wolf Link to dig for treasure or burrow through tunnels.
The Built-in speaker plays a crucial role in the Twilight Realm. If you run into an area where you think it is a dead end, Midna will laugh sometimes, signaling she has a clue to offer. It's basically the same thing as Navi's "hey, listen!" in Ocarina of Time, I assume.
There is a SPECIAL spin attack, which has to recharge after use, and the speaker will chime to let you know it is ready to be used again.
Midna is a mischievous demon, according to GamePro.
The first dungeon takes a long time to reach (they only had five hours, so use your imagination).
The Gale Force Boomerang is the item you receive in the first dungeon - this also, if the demos hold true, reveals the first dungeon is the Forest Temple from E3 2005.
Aonuma reveals, in a mini-interview, the GCN version's "orientation" was the default, and that Wii is the "mirrored" title.
GamePro asks about a rumor they heard that Link is left handed because Miyamoto is left handed and asks about why Link is a righty now (we confirmed this at E3 2006 when we asked the man himself), but Aonuma responds that it was Miyamoto's decision, not his, to make Link a righty because Miyamoto was using his right hand for the Wii Remote. Because Miyamoto did that, he felt most gamers would do that, and that's why it was done.
Aonuma says the reason Link is a lefty (and he does say Miyamoto is a lefty) is not because Miyamoto is lefty! He says he will reveal this at a later time. I call BS on this, even if he is the creator - Miyamoto told THREE of us in person, with Bill Trinen as a witness, that Link is a lefty because HE is a lefty. Methinks something is fishy here, but alas, who are we to argue with the creators? Oh yeah, Aonuma has a mustache now...he looks like Miyazaki.
The full interview will be online at GamePro.com next month.

I can't help but wonder if aanuema is just screwing with us. He takes the lamest things and claims there is some grand connection. Mabe he is just playing an ongoing joke with people who are trying to develope a timeline when he says that he is going to make it clear with the next games.:bouncy:
