For those interested, PD0 is definitely the prettiest of the three I played, although beyond that I cant really comment much as I didnt get to experience any of the story and things, so it just felt like a very generic FPS. Definitely looks nice though. PGR3 was quite nice looking; certainly, the tracks look spanking, but I personally thought the cars were nothing special to look at really (maybe its just me). Kameo looked very standard on the level I played, but it was just a tutorial section so Im expecting it to look better later on in the game.

All 3 are down for a definite Euro release on 360 launch day. DOA will be out the week after. Trust me - PD0 will be out for lauch, Owen! ;) Also, dont watch any more of the videos theyre showing; they really do no justice to the game (at least, none that I have seen).

As for stock, there are no confirmed figures, but it WILL be in very short supply. I think allocation is being based largely on preorders for now, though could be wrong. There will hopefully be a second shipment before Christmas.

hehe! Thanks! There hasn't been a word on any delay for PDZ, so i think you won the bet, PDZ will most probably be a launch title! ;)

Alot of people are saying that about PGR3, how was the scenery in that game? Many are saying it isn't as good as people have been saying!

True, i haven't got Xbox Live yet but i may get it later on...

Then again you may have trouble getting a USA one!

Lately people have been saying that Microsoft are deliberately stating the Xbox 360 will be in shortage and they want to say it's Sold Out etc.. to gain more hype! and there isn't actually a shortage at all.....

I've only just watch the first-footage of PDZ today! I tried weeks ago but my dial-up was crap, now i have broadband i watched all the videos etc.. and must say the game looks FANTASTIC! King Kong surprised me as well! It truly looks wonderful!

Kameo looked superb! Totally magical! A game that will be remembered, just like Zelda: OOT which i played on December 14th (the year it was released) if i remember rightly!

Perhaps watching the videos was a bad idea?? I WANT THE DAMN THING EVEN MORE!

Quite a few people have played now, but I will still reply ;) The tracks in PGR3 were the best thing about it IMO; they look gorgeous, stacks of detail in there. The cars conversely I thought looked a bit bland (not bad, but I wouldnt say they looked any better than a high-end xbox v1 racer). Im not particularly good at games like PGR3 so I just pretty much went around hitting things, and the crowd will flinch fractionally if you hit a barrier which was nice. The in-car views were nice too, but again I wasnt blown away as I was with PD0.

In Kameo the first part of the game pretty much just teaches you how to use your different forms, so I used an ice gorilla creature to climb a castle wall, a strange plant to topple over some spiky enemies and a giant armadillo-cum-rhino to roll up ramps to get to higher ground. I definitely think it will be far more exciting once these obligatory sections are completed, but from that play it was just pretty much a generic platformer with a slight twist in the different forms.

Still no launch list, and still no shops knowing how many they are getting! It's all so exciting!

I place my pre order on 18th august and it says in my account that the item will be dispatched on the 30th november or 1st december. Gameplay have said any one who ordered after the 18th august may have to wait.

Kameo is the only game I know i'm getting. I'd like another but I'm going to wait to see reviews to see if any are worth it, especially PD0. Thats whats good about waiting till Xmas, I'll be able to read tons of reviews and impressions before I have to make my mind up.

Kameo looks like a twist between two games I LOVE, Majora's Mask and Starfox Adventures. I'm sure it'll be awesome aslong as Rare haven't taken out the mythical and epicness aspects(which I love in Zelda games) because of too many enemies. It could become repetitive if theres that many enemies in the majority of places.

If you think about it, Kameo probably has some of the weakest graphics of the launch games, not that its THAT important of course, as its my most wanted Xbox 360 game and I'm confident its gameplay will be immense...I'm just pointing out an obvious fact.

I personally disagree with what he/she is saying. The graphics are out of this world! Yes, i've only watched HD videos, but PD0 has made a HUGE leap from Perfect Dark!

Kameo looked extremely dull on Xbox but now looks extremely enchanting!

I believe it was all to do with anticipation or wanting TOO MUCH from the console!

I'm not expecting Next-Gen games on launch day, although i'm VERY happy with what the first-party games look like, and i've wanted Kameo and PD0 for so long that, thats getting me excited! As long as they keep me gripped from start to finish and Kameo is a wonderful adventure like Zelda, i'm going to like it!

Has Next-Gen come to early?? Perhaps..so i agree with that...BUT i'm SO SO pleased it has!

Nah, PD0 would have to make launch, they said they cut down a few things to make launch! Such as online, I thinl online was gonna be like 52 or 64 players, then they cut it down to 32, and some other stuff they cut down ....
And i heard PD0 only has like a bit more then 25 weapons! PD had way more, I think ... come on!

Revolution= rumour released June for example?

Lots hope both accounts are wrong, i don't think Microsoft would delay the XBOX360 to June 2006 or AT ALL come to think of it and i don't think it will take 6 months for the next batch of consoles to come!

I played a 360 today!!!! a boy there........shit. im not joking either, HD is nout speaical the games dont run amazing and also the graphics on kameo and king kong are just a bit better than halo 2 or conker live and relaoded im soo pissed of right now, i i dont care if i dont get one for xmas infact, im thinking of taking ym order back, stoka said next gen is only a fewmonth away, belive me my friend this gen is gonna be crap if this is anything to go by...

on a positive note, the machine is sleek, and has the best joypad ever, is liek the cubes but thinner and wider, and the new top button above the triigers feel liek the Z button on cube pads but a bit nicer. and the xbox guide is cool.

i could be worng about this machine but these were my honest 1st impressions, i hope you treasure the honesty.

I saw a couple of (what I thought were) were very good 360 ads yesterday on TV, one I think was during a basketball show and another was during the new episode of LOST.

They featured no game or console footage at all, the first was of all these folks skipping, but not just normal skipping, they had the maddest skipping skillz you've ever seen in your life. It was cool.

The second ad featured a huge water balloon fight, it shows kids getting hit in the face with them! (kids getting hit is always very funny IMO), plus they throw one at a dog and it yelps!

You'll be lucky, you'd probably have to send it back to the US, at your own expense.

I don't believe i'm saying this (i love importing games etc..) but overall it would be safer and cheaper (maybe) to just wait an extra 10 days and get it from the UK, thats if you can. Of course all this news on shortages is true, but i reckon you will still be able to find one, if you get up early Friday 2nd December and look around!

The actual prices in USA are cheaper, yes, but think of the delivery charge (it would have to be courier) the weight of the actual parcel etc.. and i'm positive even VGP couldn't get away with marking the package down to avoid a HUGE Customs Tax.

It will never play UK games, if it breaks your looking at alot of hassle and Xbox Live may not work because your using a USA machine in the UK!

It's not as simple as a Nintendo DS sadly, which is brilliantly region-free with everything!

Okay fair enough if you don't have a powerful enough PC to play it, but still its worth that bit of cash to upgrade your PC to play it and i'm sure you can afford it Owen as you spend a lot on gaming.

We got a 360 dummy as so to speak, looks like it but buttons dont work and such. Not bad, although does have a VCR/Toaster feel to it. We also got the bundle deals in, cheapest is £600, most expensive is £700 but we expect a 1-game bundle to be made beforehand. Great telling customers they'll have to pay £700 though.

Anyway, i have now preordered PD0, Kameo, Tony Hawks: American Skateland, Call Of Duty 2 and Condemned from Gameplay and a plug and play kit and a extra controller and of course the Premium pack console!

I'm hoping it all comes together in a big cardboard box like last time with my CUBE on December 1st/2nd!

Many people are saying that Comet are promising you'll get your 360 by Christmas but not actually on launch day?! I got to see the Xbox360 finally in motion on an HDTV display today at Wal-mart and wow, people are gonna eat this thing up. I wouldnt wanna be Sony right now. I dont see any advantage the PS3 will have unless their displays are rife with fireworks and naked women. And Nintendo better have something special to make up for the lack of HD.

on a side note, the 360 itself is HUGE. The pictures ive seen on the net led me to believe that it was alot smaller than that.

And the way he emphasised the word 'snap' to make it seem exciting that you can change the bit of plastic on the front of the machine.

I went to one game store where they had a 360 with COD2 on it, can't say I was blown away, but didn't play it as there were quite a few people on it.

Went to another place and they had a 360 running Kameo, had a game on that but wasn't overly impressed either. Probably needed a longer go to get more of a feel for it, only played it for 10-15mins but by then I was a bit fed up and was hungry anyhow.

Just had 20 mins on COD2 as consolation for MK DS not being out until tomorrow.

Wasn't amazingly impressed, though it was good hearing the British accents for a change, the shout of "Bloody wankers!" put a grin on my face.

I'm not upset in the slightest at the prospect of not having a 360 at launch so far, guess I need to look out for PD0 and see if that changes things.

CoD2 on the demos is the TERRIBLE PC demo. Infact its the worse mission in the entire game. I should know, finished it. Not as good as the first one.

However Bowser, the demo is fairly bad and it still has massive jaggies which are removed in the final game. Why haven't you played the Kameo demo? it looks nice even if the level is rather underwelming.
