Thats weird, my 360 freezes sometimes. But only if its the games fault, its never happend because of the 360.

Rokhed, you should look into this. It might not be the 360's it might be how you're setting things up. Is the PSU on the floor? If so, have it hanging down so it can get more air to it. Mines doing that, never had a problem.

Well I bought the maps last night at 2 in the morning. I set them to download and went to bed but when I got up it was about 20% of the way through and it had stopped. I had to start a fresh which I aint happy about and its taking ages, I have been up half a hour and its still on 1%!

im annoyed, first my ukrainian club ghets an Evesham 32" HD TV, just to watch the next Ukraine match on, then to keep of course. but they got a frickin projector in another room!(that apparently cost £700) and then one of the families we know got a 37" on, i havnt seen it so i dont know the make, nor do i know the price because they didnt tell my dad.
Damnit, got to save up loads. ive seen the 32" samsung, the one oads of peopel have and on those 360 stands in sotore for £800 in Costco so i might get that.

Microsoft can track who logs on with a game compared with who downloads the content. Its been around 20%, say insider sources.

Ubisoft should stop being bastards, and give us it for 800 or less.

All the trouble people have had with the shitty netcode it should all be free, just like they did with GR2.

Apparently there are another 4 of these DLC packs planned aswell, and if they are all this price that's going to be £51 on top of the games price adding up to a potential £100.

As do I but having Acheivements in a game is an added insentive. Take Kameo for example, I probably wouldnt have been bothered about getting A ranks for each level if it wasnt for the Achievements but Im glad I did because it made the game longer for me and made me a better player of the game in the process.

Heres a suggestion for Tomb Raider Time Trails. Do the very last level which is the last boss and beat that in 4 mins ( easily done ) with that done you get the cheat of 1 Hit Kills on all enemies and most bosses. With that on you can do all the Time Trials very easily. If you want the bulletproof cheat do the England level next.

It plugs into a USB port on the 360 and then into the top of the controller. It charges the battery as you play the game.

Dont be stupid, get the Quick charge kit, it is mch faster that the Play and Charge kit.

good thing about play n charge is, if you leave it plugged in when you turn your 360 off, the 360 will stay on standby until the controller is fully charged.

Indeed. I dont know what the problem is though, I had Street Fighter Anniversary on the XBox and that played fine on Live.

I've heard of them before, it was released in America a couple onths back (around that) But I've heard a lto of bad about it, damaging Hard drives, screwing with the 360 power so it shows 3 Red lights when everythings fine.

+ Does not add any height to the unit, perfect in cramped spaces
+ Self Powering
+ Solid feel to the unit and fans
+ Extra cooling can potentially increase the life of your console

Negatives

- Potential issues in the initial run of units
- Boring packaging that does not stand out
- Fans are noticeably loud by themselves

Well compared to the first, it completely licks ball bags.


- It has the worst storyline in video game history

- The controls are stiff and can be awkward.

- Your allies in single player run in front of you when you're fireing and you fail the mission

- Sometimes a mission would just randomly fail.

- The stealth element does not work.

- The graphics look like they've been put through the dishwasher. (with Finish Extra Shine as the cleaning agent)

- No cool alien weapons... and no aliens.

but..

+ It can be pretty fun in online co-op.

+ The guns look extremely cool and are fun to use.

+ Deathmatch (esspecially the virus one) is a laugh and can get addictive.

+ Once the motion sickness wears off the graphics become ok (ish).

So err yeah, it doesn't touch the original but i would say it's worth picking up cheap for deathmatch, online co-op and the achievements I guess (the only reason to do single player)

Oh and yeah get it even without an hdtv, because the graphics aren't the best thing, Live is.

I personally love PDZ. The offline mode sucks its true but Online co-op and the deatchmatch and darkop games are great fun if you can get a group of people who you know to play it.

If its only for online, I wouldn't recommend PGR 3 for reasons I stated earlier. I'm not an expert on the other two, though I remember COD2 having problems early on, could be fixed now though.

I think COD2 has been patched to fix the online problems.

The chaps at 360Monster have created a Battlecard, so you can pit yourself against a friend to see who can get all the Gamerpoints.

For example first to 10k, 15k, 20k and so on.

And a very very long ethernet cable, if I like the xbox live free 1 month trial, so I can play it online from downstairs...

Me and Stocka talked briefly about a Revo-Europe game of Halo at some point. Basically all of us hook up and blast the hell out of each other on Halo 2 and judging from the amount of time some people off here are on Halo there will be a mass amount of owning going on! :grin:

Well, first we need my xbox 360 to arrive tomorow, or firday, then I'm going away until the 10th (my birthday), then I need to buy halo triple pack, and sign up to xbox live gold.
Atm I'm borrowing a mate's xbox and games, including halo 2, so I could use that.
I'll also have to make the mode again on the new HDD

Cool, the more the merrier. The earliest I forsee it being possible with me involved is the 12th, so I'm sorry.
If you want to try it yourself, it's Assault, 1 life each, human weapons only, no motion sensor, and human vehicles only. It works best on non-symetrical maps like Relic, I found, at least in my 2 vs 2 games.
I recommend 5-aside.

If you want to try it yourself, it's Assault, 1 life each, human weapons only, no motion sensor, and human vehicles only.From my experience 1 life Assault is pointless, it just turns into a game of Elimination Slayer. With a bomb.
Is there a way you can use voice chat only with your team over xbox live?In team games you just press the white button/left bumper before speaking and it's broadcast to your entire team. People in the immediate vicinity can also hear you, so you have to be quiet whilst in the enemy base (which is how it should be).

As Chris mentioned me and a few guys from here (The3rdChildren, CVD, Cubechris, Arragaun, Blackfox, Jordan, and occasionally Bowser/Haver/Moria/Balfron) all play most nights around 11/12ish. We sort it all out on MSN around that time, so if any of you want to join add me and I can invite you when the time comes. Or you can just gatecrash.

Imo it's terrible. I like Ace combat but this game is boring as hell. It has a half ass Arcade feel over it. It dosen't feel like flying a plane (like you do in Ace combat). I would wait for reviews/test it before buying it.

I have it preordered but my demo is still downloading. The demos on some on the 360 games dont do the proper game justice, I found that out with Full Auto as Im really enjoy that game despite the poor demo. I also realize that many people hate Full Auto so you dont need to point that out :D

Felt loose and as if I wasn't actually controlling a mech... more a large car or something.

Graphically, mechs look great as does the land and such. But the explosions are pathetic. The guns don't even feel that powerful, when I fire a rocket I wanna know i've fired one! Mech Warrior did that, and this doesn't even come close to a 10 year old game.

Meh, won't have my 360 tomorrow, but it's probably for the best. I've asked the seller to post it on the date I come back from holiday, so by the 13th I should be hooked up to xbox live and registered. I probably won't have the mappack maps for halo 2, as I wont have had time to download them, so I'll have to sit out in those rounds.

From what I read and saw about it, I thought Chromehounds looked pretty cool, but evidently not.
Prey is good (got the PC demo) so it should be worth a buy/demo download(has mulitplayer) on the 360.

United Offensive had some awesome missions, but it pushed the Quake 3 engine way too far. CoD1 single player touched the greatness of MOHAA in some ways and the multiplayer is still played more on PC than alot of others 4 years after its release.

CoD1 had a better story, better levels and just felt better than CoD2 which used a terrible "Halo 2 style" life system.

You'd need a special dongle for the 360 to connect to a wireless network I think. Even then, you probably wouldn't be able to connect to a Nintnendo one.

Its exactly the same as the PC demo so i've no need to play it again.
Its smoother than the PC one, just some small probablems with jaggies but nothing major.

I was on Live last night and I looked at my friendslist and saw everyone downloading something, I assumed you guys were just getting Chromehounds demo then I seen Mfergy playing Prey so I quickly downloaded it.

The demo is awesome, it has a Doom feel about the game and the way you go upside down and die then fight your way back to life is simply awesome.

The next game I'm looking forward to is Phantasy Star Universe. Right now I'm not playing 360 games at all.

There are a few im looking forward to that are out pretty soon. There is Chromehounds, Prey and LOTR Battle for Middle Earth 2 all out in July and then in September there is Rainbow Six: Vegas. The one I really cant wait to get my hands on is Dead Rising as it just looks like a fun game to play. I would be more excited for PSU but there hasnt been a sniff of a release date yet, make no mistake though when it does come out I will be on it constantly!

Well, I downloaded the Prey demo. Whilst I do like it, I do think the PC version is the better one. I did notice a bit of lag and slowdown in places on the 360 version. Even my PC can run the game pretty damn' well on medium (and it still looks quite good.)

Codemasters are looking at Cannon Fodder now and will assess which format this game will come out on. Live Arcade is a possibility, as are the other formats. Everything is possible at this stage.

Yeah that what I heard, apparently its very tactical when playing online which makes a nice change from all the run and gun games. I downloaded the demo but didnt play it as everyone said it was poor, my game should arrive Thursday as I have it ordered off Gameplay.

Ive played both Chromehounds and Prey demos (although not very much of prey). Chromehounds is really quite pants, but prey was quite nice with its half life style, but whats with the sink at the very start? it looked nasty and the draining was all wrong lol

BLASPHEMY!!! The films are awesome, anyways back on topic I have this on pre-order as it looks like a very solid title plus waging war via Live sounds great.

Just got Chromehounds this morning and im loving it. I have never played a Mech game before which apparently is a plus side as people are saying compared to others its terrible. Ignorance is bliss I suppose :grin:

I got Chromehounds and its very meh. The story mode is extremely short and some of the missions are just plain tedious. To top it off Sega havent even got the servers working properly. Apparently there are too many people on. The japanese are on all the time and when us Brits try to get on it overloads, I hate to think what will happen next week when the Yanks get it.

EDIT: I see Dead Rising now comes in a limited edition case at Gameplay and Game although I cant see a standard case so this must just be the norm.

Our source has seen 3 of these motherboards already, so it looks like Microsoft might be working on a new Xbox 360 version with a HDMI-port. However it's totally unknown when/if it'll be released to the public and if this will be included with all packages or only on the Premium. Or, who-knows, maybe a it'll be for a 3rd package ... maybe even with an internal HD-DVD drive after all, to compete with the high-end PS3? (but that's pure speculation and MS PR recently denied working on an internal HD-DVD).

A digital output would certainly come as good news for those out there with new HDTV-sets and it could be pretty useful for the HD-DVD addon too, certainly if those movies will ever be HDCP-protected. However people who already paid $400 for their 360 might feel less happy if Microsoft releases this soon.

Again yes and no. Offline Campagin is short and some of the missions are tedious but those who have managed to get online with it says its an awesome experience.
