Now that Meteos is out in Europe I thought I'd resurrect the old leaderboard from C-E.
It will display the top 3 scores for 2:00 TIME WAR, 5:00 TIME WAR, 100 METEO WAR, 1000 METEO WAR and DELUGE (any stage).
Get posting them scores!!

Colin if you've got some scores post them, you can always add images later.

No, it’s going to be just one high score per person, the only reason there's been duplicate scores is because there were not enough being posted.
Anyway I've updated the leaderboard accordingly.

Okay, can you really cheat at this game!? I mean, who's to say everyone isnt cheating at it? Does it really improve your screen scrubbing the screen, or is it a bit more tactical than that!?

I would be up for getting it and competeing in the scoring but I wont bother if you can cheat!!

I would be up for getting it and competeing in the scoring but I wont bother if you can cheat!!When you're scrubbing you launch random Meteos in the air, and it can get you a good amount of points. But in the end it's about skills. If you can align Meteos fast it gets you much more points. I didn't cheat to get my score, it's not fun and I'm good enough to get more points normally than if I would be cheating

Deluge: 207860 on Dawndus Wikipedia says this planet is called the same.

Deluge: 180920 on Forte Wikipedia says this planet is the same again.

Deluge: 159700 on Freaze "This planet is named "Polaria" in the European version."

I really need to tighten up my skills on the time war, I mainly spend my time in deluge but I'm quite behind the pack for you lot.

I haven’t played this game for ages, I should really try and get back into it before Tetris DS as I want to have another go at dabookerman's 100-Meteo time. *remembers the frustration* Hmm... or do I? :heh:

I'm not sure I'm gonna bother with Tetris DS.. I think I've moved on, I love the game but it looks pretty lame. For me Meteos is the puzzle game of choice nowadays.

Paid for Tetris back on the GameBoy, £25 it was for that simple game cartridge, it was fun but not that fun.

Sure, Tetris is a much slower paced game compared to Meteos, but I think the DS version with all of the different modes is going to be really good. Plus I love the whole retro crossover thing that they've got going on. :smile:

No one has posted here in a while. I've actually been working hard on Meteos lately. Finally got all endings, all planets, all sounds, and all items. Now I've set my coarse to beating the shit out of these Time-wars. I've got a good start.
