advance wars or fire emblem?

Whish is better, i think fire emblem is the best it has all the great stratagy but with rpg goodness.

I'd go for advance wars, it gets better with every release and the 1st one was bloody good!

DS version is near perfect

Fire Emblem I could never get into unforuntely, as I'm sure its a good game given the chance

I voted Advance Wars too, I love Fire Emblem but I found it to be a bit too full on what with the auto-save after every move and the permanent loss of allies that die in a battle. In fact it remains to this day the only game that I've never seen the credits for as I just couldn’t beat it. :red: I got to the final chapter but my characters didn’t seem to be levelled up enough to get through it.
Advance Wars on the other hand is a lot more balanced and although the final stage is also very difficult I didn’t have too many problems beating it, I'm looking forward to the DS version next week. :yes:

Fire Emblem for me. It's such a beautiful game with even more depth than Advance Wars. Strategy and RPGness mixed for the win ^_^

I never got round to buy the Gameboy Advance Fire Emblem games but I will definitly get the Gamecube version.

So, because I have never played a Fire Emblem game before Advance Wars got my vote by default.

Advance Wars. Fire Emblem is good, but the storyline sequences are overly drawn out, and I just don't get along with the whole "character death" dealie. AW is slightly easier to get used to, I find.

I never could do Fire Emblem. Every time I get a new unit it dies on the map I get it.
