Just wondering if anyone saw the good article on nintendogs in the independent, it praised the game as new and orignal and non violent the aritlce was in the news paper it'self and not the intertanment suplemnt, and took up 2 pages. It liked the fact the dogs can't die, said that the game is great for all ages/and sexess, and the article was well written (as expected).

Great, I'm getting a feeling that Nintendogs will do pretty well. And by pretty well, I mean awesome.

Some good advertising for it, The Independent's a very respectable newspaper (my english teacher always uses articles from it for us to "analyze").

Rebecca clearly 'gets' it, and that's something that the mainstream press often don't. Good stuff!

Ooh, I love Rebecca Armstrong! She did an article about the new Star Wars film. She said she never liked SciFi and it was about her 24 hour adventure in a cinema watching all 6 films in a row. The best line was along the lines of "Mid way through the Empire Strikes Back I saw Darth Vader carrying out a sexual act on a wookie in the back row, only to realise that Darth had simply taken his helmet off and was resting it in his friend's lap".
Great Nintendogs article. "Then my boss appears, wanting a go. I relent because she loves dogs, but when she starts smacking my pet on the nose I snatch it back, aghast. " Haha

It's very rarely that we get a proper review by an established news paper. So I'm happy we've got one after such a long time, and one that isn't relogated to the back or a suplement. I'm sure her games journalist firends will be chuffed with her article.
Is this game likely to sell out in the first week? Cos I haven't pre-ordered yet, as I'm moving to Uni on the 1st of October, and I don't know my new address yet. So I can't get it off of the net, nor can I go into my local game shop and pre-order it there, as it won't be local in a week.

There was a article in the Daily Telegraph as well! Was quite intresting and very positive. However it warned not to play with other adults as you find yourself talking to your little puppy :hehe:
