That's right. I got myself a DS today...the day before i go to uni.
My uncle came down from BlackWood and we talked a little about handhelds. He said he had a PSP, but also wanted a DS. Said i better ask for it now, because after today i'll be skint for ages. :lmao:
So, my mum heard this and decided to get one for me. A leaving present, i guess.

I bought a second hand DS for £70! Cheap as chippies. Also got the metroid prime hunters demo with it, and Ware Ware Touched. All for £92. :)
Then, after that, picked up Project Rub for £14.

The verdict:





Absolutely loving it. :)

One thing baffles me about the prime demo: Can't you turn around?

Apart from that, seeing samus on both screens (you know what i mean) was awesome. She looks fantastic. :heh:

So, i'm loving it. Glad i got one now.

Advanced Wars is great, but its just more of the same. Ouendan just fits the DS perfectly.

I am SO not going to Uni!! It costs WAY too much, n I'm too lazy to be able to do it anyway. I barely passed AS n am already slightly struggling with A2 :doh:

Yes, if your using the stylus just move it to the right/left (take it off the screen and do it again) over and over until Samus is facing the other direction, if your using the standard controls just juse "A" to turn right and "Y" to turn left.

I want a pink DS instead of my Silver one... it looks classy, ok?

I sugggest Mario, Wario, Kirby, Rayman then soon there'll be Electroplankton, Maroi Kart DS, Castlevania, Animal Crossing DS, Sonic Rush, Lost in Blue, Super Monkey Ball, Metroid and Maori and Luigi.

Think you'll be able to get online at university? Then I can destroy you at a game of Balloon Fight on Animal crossing. (And if Nintendo don't include Nes games or Snes games multiplayer on Animal crossing that would suck.)
