Surely it would be more suited to the DS? Waith the touch screen/dual screen capability.
I think the reason its not being ported is because of the lack of interest from the stereotypical nintendo gamer.
Its a shame as i love FM games.

Sports Interactive have said they wanted to work with the DS but the machine is not powerful enough, which is a great shame

Football Manager would indeed be nice on DS, but as Sigames did say the DS just can't process that database fast enough, it's either that or wait ages and ages for it to process, which no one wants to do.

Football Manager on anything but a PC is just plain wrong. It will never work. It will flop on both the PSP and the XBox360.

I had Total Club Manager 2005 on the Xbox and it was terrible. You had to watch every single game (text only or 2d pitch highlights is the best). The games took 10 mins each and it just got boring after a while. Instead of being able to play 5 or 6 games in 30 mins like on the PC you could play 2 and a bit. The menu's were hard to find what you wanted to do.
The PC version is so much easier to play. It would be well suited to the DS, shame it's not powerful enough.

Well every time your team gets promoted, they level up
Attack, defence, counters, seedy bars to neogotiate transfers, all in football management sims as well as RPGs :)

Not really, they're totally different games. Apart from your players getting better, there's nothing else the same.
