Strange I just realized my favourite console is the GBA SP - that could also be a reason why I want a GBA.
It has great 2D and 3D games, it's small, you can play outside and it has enough (not too many) buttons.
Overall, the 64 was my favorite, but it was close because games like RE4 and Paper Mario the thousand year door made me love the cube.

Game Boy
Because of the Pokemon experience(especially when it was really popular) and the three Super Mario Lands.

Gameboy, i will never stop playing it. Got my original on my 3rd or 4th birthday, and still playing today when im 16 this weekend.
Pokemon was the first ever game to make me play for so long, i didnt have many games on my 64, due to the fact xmas and my bday only came once a year with £5 pocket money in those days :P

Ohhhhhh, tough choice! I'm gonna say N64 because of teh likes of Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time, although the Gmaecube has had some fantastic games such as Tales of Symphonia and Skies of Arcadia, and with Twilght Princess yet to come my choice my yet change!

I can't believe I'm the first to say SNES with NES a close second.
SNES
NES
Nintendo DS (could change throughout the next few years)
GameCube
Gameboy Advance
N64
Gameboy / Color
I guess I'm "old school".

SNES all the way
Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart - all classics!
Even Disney games used to be good on the SNES

GCN for me.
My 64, though good, had some drawbacks such as the analogue stick. It was worn out so quickly. The size [of the stick] wasn't an issue because I was small and I didn't know any better. The shoddy frame rates also gave me a headache and made me grumpy.
My library of games was also small, 12 in total, and I didn't play all of them.
My GCN, on the other hand has an awesome pad, perfectly suited to my mitts. My library of games is large (27). And the games are so smooth and (comparitively) clear.
I promised myself I wouldn't write too much. It looks like I failed. However it must be said that I did restrain myself from writing considerably more.

Snes is probably "the best" nintendo console.. But it was with Nintendo 64 i really got into playing games.
And i'm thinking and hoping that Revolution will be the Best when it comes.

My favourite and one i have great memories of is the N64 i don't know if it was becuase i was much younger playing it and i embraced it more. But todays consoles just don't seem to have the same magical feeling i got when playing on my N64. But like i said i put that down to getting older and changing my views on games.

SNES because it has the most classic games (mario donkey kong metroid blah blah..)
N64 for the console with second the most classic games, and great controller
GCN has the most fun multi-player games
DS is the funnest handheld.
Overall ......... ............
er... :eer:
I think all of them are great .

I like them all, simply because they all have an excellent collection of games past and present on them. GameCube can play Gameboy games, DS can also play GameBoy games... in addition to their own library. Revolution will be the ultimate resource depending on how the downloads are implemented, and of course the classic consoles still feel just as they used to back on Christmas Day when you first received them.
I can't pick a favourite, although the N64 probably got played the most out all my Nintendo machines so at a push I'm going to go for that. Simply for Mario Party, Goldeneye and Smash Bros.

GameCube, the N64 was great. But in my opinion OoT wasn't all that (sure it was freaking amazing at the time) and Goldeneye doesn't play as well as modern FPS. Its all rose tinted.
So yeah, GameCube. Its only the console i've ever had from launch and mine still works.

hmmm its a tough one, i had a lot of fun growing up with my NES and SNES playing all those great games with my mates but i think ill go with the N64 as games such as goldeneye and mario kart 64 had endless multiplayer fun throughout the summer years with mates, still something that hasnt been beaten for me.

I think I would go for the GBA SP as well. If the releases on the DS continue with the innovative titles that seem to appear regularly I may be forced to change my mind.

N64 by far just remebr those 4 player games on goldeneye in the temple? or how about your 1st kill on Smash Bros, what even the 1st swear word in conkers Bad Fur Day, in my eyes the game cube has been a big let down.

Hahaha....The love hotel wanst actually under Nintendo's name was it?! Just Yamauchi's?!
Though that does bring me to a thought!!....Why doesn't Nintendo move into more than just Videogames?!...Why don't they make toys like they used to!?...They could move into other areas just for the extra dosh!!

Super Nintendo was fun growing up with Super Mario world, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Mega Man Xs but then the N64 came out with Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time I was blown away. Now I have to go with the cube simply because of TWILIGHT PRINCESS!!!

My favourite Nintendo console would have to be the Nintendo 64.
Mainly because of titles such as Goldeneye 007, Conkers Bad Fur Day, The introduction of Mario into full 3D, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amongst others.

Although I love some games like OOT and MM on the N64 I have to say GameCube because I got a lot of great games on that console. Especially games like Metroid Prime and Tales of Symphonia and Resident Evil 4 really made me like GameCube.

N64 for me. It had Majoras Mask on it, which is the best game for the console in my opinion, and it was my first console. I loved Ocarina of Time, it was such a classic console, it was packed full of amazing games. Plus I loved the controller, and all the new revolutionary features and accsesiories. A breakthrough for Nintendo, and the whole gaming industry. I loved it!
First post! I'm new, welcome me if you like.

I can't just say wether the N64 or the GCN is better. True, the GCN has much better graphics and I agree the N64 has a lot of classics (including my favourite, OoT). But still it's very hard to choose. The same for Gameboy or NDS. Of course at the moment, my favourite is the DS, but the DS needs more great games to become "better" then the Gameboy.
Anyway, I can't compare a 1st generation console to a 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation console.
EDIT: welcome Unknown!

SNES was the first console I owned & I loved it to bits. I used to adore Super Mario Kart & think it is one the greatest games ever made. But we couldn't afford many games so I didn't really appreciate it's greatness until I discovered emulators. The RPGs on the SNES have to be some of the best ever made, with Chrono Trigger being my favourite.
But the N64 would probably have to be my favourite, simply because it had some of the greatest games ever made:OoT, Goldeneye & Perfect Dark, Super Mario 64 .... I spent way too much time on this console during my early teenage years.

hmmm at the minute (until the revolution drops) the GAMEBOY MICRO if that was a women we would be having unprocted sex at the minute.
And if you dont wanna accept the micro as a console accept a snes because the micro is basically a miniature snes in my pocket.
