Play 2 games, came second and first.

On the second match, it was Rifles on Relic, and i came back to take the lead, stole a dead Spartan sniper, killed a few, got the sword, killed s'more and got a Running Riot before some asshole with a Battle Rifle killed me :( Most pleasant - 3 deaths and 19 kills.

A few good games last night with Guy and Colin last night. We got matched up against a team of loud mouths and went behind early on (me with two brilliant suicides).

However, the tables turned, I got more and more mouthy, even resorting to swearing at them. "Triple that mother fu**ers!" being a choice quote.

Colin was some sort of sword master gaining himself a Killtrocity, so madd props for that. And I managed a spree of 13.

All in all and excellent game. Guy held his own too (no change there then! HAHAHAHAaaaaa), with 16 delicious kills to his name.

To change your logo go to settings, then player profiles, choose the profile you want to change, then from the pop up window choose edit, and then choose appearance.

To view your stats go to www.bungie.net, it's all pretty self-explanatory there.

Sorry for the double, but I felt this merited it's own post.

After having a discussion with Guy about the different skill levels that exist between our usual Halo 2 gang, I came up with 4 different "tiers" - each one containing certain members of our group. I decided it would be neat (and humiliating for certain moderators) if I showed this in picture form.

And so, I give to you.. the Pyramid of Halo.

Tier 1: The Robot Tier

Consists of: Moria and his robot friends. These are Balfron, ScottyMate, Zakatu, and a whole host of other mechanical lifeforms. These guys eat, sleep, and breathe Halo. (Well, not really, but it sure feels like it when you're in a match against them)

Tier 2: The Awesome Tier

Consists of: Bowser57, The3rdChildren, CVD and myself. This also includes Woosel, but he's not a member of the forum and I didn't have room, so I left him out. I consider ourselves to be a capable team, and can usually beat most teams if we pull together and I stop trying to kill Guy.

Tier 3: The HM-Fusion Tier

Consists of: Blackfox, Haver, CubeChris and the King of Men, Arragaun. These guys can hold their own in a gunfight, but I don't think they're as good as us folks in Tier 2. Especially Haver, he just plain sucks. Admit it guys, there's usually one of you in our team in team games, and you're the ones that usually have the lowest killcount.

Tier 4: The Jordan Tier

Well, this one is pretty self explanatory.

So there you have it. Sorry if I missed anyone out, I was only going by our immediate Halo 2 group that we regularly play with.

Apart from one shameful display from me which the rest of the team made up for everyone either played well or very well.

I think we were spurred on by one of the first teams we played against having a Mickey Mouse style child who announced to his team "Let's take these homos!". Though we only got a draw for the game one of our flag captures was one of the sweetest moments ever, a real team effort where everything just clicked.

We'd agreed to play team slayer until we lost but ended up having to call it a night before that happened.

I realise this is more a Live love-in then a topic on Halo 2, but I figure some of you must be pretty good at the single-player aspect of the game.

I've recently decided to give Legendary another bash, and it wasn't going too badly until I bumped in to Regret. The galactic paraplegic himself isn't the trouble — his attacks are easily dodged — but the constantly respawning enemies are a major annoyance. The Grunts aren't really a problem as they are easily head-shot with the Battle Rifle, but the Plasma-weilding Honour Guard can kill me in about 2 seconds if I get caught out in the open.

So, any advice, or do I just have to grin and bear it?

Note: I realise there's technically a Game Help board, but I figure I might as well target my post at the people most likely to be able to answer.

During that time we work on building the spec, getting feedback from our community and internal team, building the actual files, getting the descriptions localized for all languages, testing everything on "Partnernet" (the test version of Xbox Live), hooking it up to Bungie.net and then coordinating the release with the Live team. It takes about six weeks to do all of those things while still allowing some buffer in case something goes horribly awry (like a Banshee showing up on Ascension in Team Rifles!).
