Do you have yours?
I should tomorrow, but Amazon is being silly right now and saying my order has shipped.
Instant Order Update for *** ***:
Recently Shipped Orders
Click below to see estimated delivery dates.
• Order placed on September 17 -- View order.
Then when I click 'View Order,' I see something at the top that says, "Not Yet Shipped:
1 item - delivery estimate: September 20, 2005." This may be an error; I say this because a few housr ago the Instant Order Update was there and a few minutes ago it went missing, but now is back. Oh well, if it indeed has shipped, it should be here by tomorrow! Can't wait!

Haven't ordered one or anything yet, i'm still trying to decide if it's worth it.
I have my DS for playing GBA games so the only reason i would get one would be just so i had one!
If i did get one then i would import the Famicon (NES) style one from Japan as that one isn't in the line up over here, plus the box with its mario artwork is great!
A NES edition will probably come out over here sometime (or a NES faceplate), but our colour sceme was different, but it could look nice; the GBASP one did;
which would you all get if you could choose? Famicon or NES GB Micro?

I don't really understand why people who already have a GBA or DS are buying the micro. Can someone please explain to me why they are buying it with a better explanation other than the fact it's smaller than previous versions

I can understand what you mean but most reasons people will buy it if they already have GBA/DS/both could be:
For collection purposes
Because its a Nintendo product, so they feel they need it
because the famicon version is sexy

I must agree with Stocka, the famicon version is very sexy, as was the famicon gameboy advance sp. The box art was very cool for retro lovers.
I am tempted with the Micro, only because its easy to pop in your pocket and forget about it unlike the DS, you certainly notice a bulge in your pocket!

It looks great and it is tiny. The tiny factor is a big one for me because the DS doesn't fit easily in your pocket. Micro does. I don't think I'll buy Micro as GBA games don't seem as good now I have DS games, but it is tempting for that reason alone. Portability. It's genuinely gaming on the go, wherever you want.

Unless you're a collector, I don't think there's much of a point. The screen's even smaller than the GBA, does it even have a backlight?

The Micro has a sharper and clearer screen than both DS and SP apparently.
I'm definitely tempted to pick one up. Does anyone know if the micro has a data/connection port? I'm talking about the thing which enables connection between a GBAsp and GC.

Agree with everything you said (oh and if I did it would be the Famicom one)

yeah it does, a backlight is standard in any handheld now a days. I would like to see the kids of this generation try and play an original gameboy, shifting and moving the gameboy so there's no on screen refelection but you can still the game. Twas not bedtime lights off friendly when I was a wee nipper.

I won't be buying this because what;s the point? I have a DS and GBA, so why would I need another thing that's basically the same thing?

I'll get one when I see it used in the game stores for 20 bucks like the Gameboy Color, orignal Gameboy Advance and Gameboy Pocket.
