View Full Version : Next Gen Bond game coming for Revolution (?)

Found this from Gaming-Age Forums:

Next year's James Bond game from EA Redwood Shores will be based on the next movie from Sony/MGM pictures, Casino Royale. CR will be the first Bond movie in over four years and the first one since Sony bought MGM. This will also coincide with the release of the Sony PS3. Additionally, the movie will premiere the newest James Bond and will be directed by Martin Campbell (who directed Goldeneye). The game will have direct ties with the making of the movie including the actors, director, the script and all the marketing. The game will be released day and date with the movie and will be one of EA's top five games for 2006 and a huge Christmas release for the industry.


We are looking for the top talented people in the industry to work on the next gen platforms -PS3, Xbox360 and Nintendo Revolution.

Not a big suprise (since EA propably releases this for about 20 systems...) but still, good to know.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if it wasn't coming. It's a good sign they're starting to be allowed to announce games now though :smile:

hopefully this one wont be too many league below Golden eye. if that is the case the rev will be the best place for it.

Well I might get this, it depends on what other FPS games that are out at the same time. I haven't played one EA Bond game that I've liked but if they incorporate the controller well and there are no competing FPS's then I'll get it :p I could always return it...

Sony own the rights to James Bond now so couldnt they charge EA to put it on other consoles to discourage them?

Meh, i wouldn't be too bothered if they did or diddn't the last on i got was rogue agent and though i though gameplay was good. Im still crap at James Bond games so i end up using health, ammo, all weapons cheats etc

I liked Everything or Nothing. But I guess this will turn out as an FPS considering the Rev controls.
