I just checked www.nintendods.com's game section and there's a Super Princess Peach game announced! Does anyone know anymore on this?

Yeah, this was announced ages ago, but currently, as far as I am aware, details are scarce.

maybe princess peach will end up having to rescue mario........wouldn't be the first time mario doesn't star in a game, luigi's mansion had mario captured as its storyline

Here (http://plusd.itmedia.co.jp/games/articles/0509/05/news038.html) are some screens. Looks like a traditional Snes platformer with Peach instead of Mario.

EDIT: Sprout, you beat me to it! Oh well, mine are other screenshots.

Anyway, it looks about wierd seeing Peach jumping around acrobatically, when all you usually see her do is stand around or sit on her throne, or shout MARIO!

I'm happy Peach is getting a starring role in something, but what about Toad? He's so damn neglected. Okay, yes he has starred in Wario's Woods (which is a quality puzzle game), but wheres Toad's platformer he so richly deserves (more than Peach anyway :heh: )?

Go on, you know you want some more Toad action ;).

Looks good graphics and gameplay wise (I LOVE the graphical style in those cutscenes); but i'm not sure i'd get this though.
Think i'll just wait for Superstar Saga 2.

chick flick game with MORE crappy 2-d GBA graphics, *sigh*
a toad game is REALLY NEEDED! How do mario and luigi get captured, and not peach? huh huh huh? Maybe there is some toad action to save her!

this game looks good, i cant wait for it. there were some details on 4CR.com
