In honour of the new 'Nintendo Select' range of games now available for Wii, I feel it may be time for something of a Mario Strikers: Charged Football revival :hehe:

If you're interested in taking part, just put your name down with your friend code and I'll add it to this post. When we get enough players, we can either have a league or a knockout competition (perhaps with a group component) depending on the number of entrants.

To encourage some of you to brush up on your skills, I'll offer a prize for the winner in the form of a game :smile: I'll post a small list of games from my collection when the tournament is over and the winner can choose their favourite :grin:

I remember the first big tournament we had on here and it was a blast :yay: When we get enough names, we'll sort out the format and rules :smile:

Awww I would've joined this aswell - No, not just for the added freebie :D
But I haven't got the game and I've borrowed it from my mate, completed it and messed around on WiFi with it, but I just don't think I'd buy it :cry:

Right, I just booted it up again and saw the intro cinematics.

This game is awesome, and a sequel could sure as hell do with more humour and cut-scenes like in Mario Power Tennis for the Gamecube!

It got me wondering what Next Level Games is up to. ::shrug::yay::bowdown:

I was in the last tournament, it was great fun!

I'd love to play but like many others I've traded it in.

I've actually been feeling a desire to play it again though so if enough people sign up then I will buy it and join in!

..and you don't remember me flying the flag for justice in the latter stages of the tournament..? :heh:

I can't believe you guys who traded this game in :hmm: Having played it at the weekend, I can definitely say that it is still fantastic :hehe:

I loved the game, but I'm just to crap at it for online competition ;). I remember occasionally getting a goal with my skeleton koopas (forgot their name :p), but that was like 1 for every 2 or 3 goals against me with boos sliding past my keeper with perfect precision, or those stupid lobs the keeper should get but doesn't :rolleyes:. I haven't kept up with all the tricks.

Still waiting for my Wii here, but I'd like to take part. Hopefully my save file for this game still lives, was one of those that stays locked (or half of it at least) to the system memory. :hmm:

I haven't played it in ages, but I remember that my character of choice was Waluigi. :D

I rarely use any cheap tricks (if any at all) and still manage to kick some ass!

It appears RedShell has his Wii back so I'm happy to start this any time. There may not be many of us but that will probably increase the chance of all the fixtures actually getting played :hehe:

I have an erratic schedule but I usually have free time in the evenings every other day or so :p so I'm good whenever as long as we don't have official set times and can arrange our matches within a set time-frame of 5/7 days or something :p

I've actually just started playing this again after realising I never completed the Road to Striker mode! I'm still not great at this game, remember having some awesome games in past competitions on here. I just hate them damn mega strikes!!!

It was fun though wasn't it :) I haven't played Mario Kart in AGES!!

Erm, I'll be up for a few games this evening, from now til 8:00 I'm free (but only for a couple of games). Other than that I'll be up for some games tomorrow!!

OH, and this game is £5 in CEX so no one has any excuse not to get this game and take part!

I'm really sorry about the lack of progress with this tournament. Things have felt a bit hectic lately like I haven't really felt like I have much time for it at the moment :hmm: In fact, my gaming time in general has been somewhat lacking this month..

I'd still like it to happen, though :smile:
