I didn't do as badly as I was expecting to either. Still not great, but I managed to kill more than I got killed... just about. :heh:

Welsh_gamer, that team game in the club level was brilliant! It was so much fun I was pretty much laughing the entire time. I loved it when we were all moving around as a group. :awesome:

I'll definitely be playing this game online for quite a while. :hehe:

I was about to get my first ever win on conflict mode earlier, when the game suddenly froze! :shakehead Just made that horrible buzzing noise and I had to power off. :cry:
Hopefully that wont be a regular occurrence.

Played a bit of golden gun after that. Had a really funny moment chasing after someone while carrying the GG, I must have fired about 10 shots but kept on missing, eventually got him and then got killed myself literally a second later. :laughing:

Redshell I got a message saying you had erased me from your list or you were offline last night. Not sure what was happening, but it told me when you went offline. Either way the multiplayer is cracking.It must have said that I'd added you. I noticed that if you add a friendcode while that person is online, a message pops up in the top right of the screen confirming it. I got the message when I added welsh_gamer, and again last night when I added you.
Did you see the message while you were in-game?
I tried to join you yesterday when I saw that you were online, but it said your game was full.

Anyway I'll be on again tonight (I really want to get some more XP/levels under my belt to unlock more gear :cool:) so hopefully see some of you N-E peeps then.

Had a great game on conflict mode last night. Me and Calv finished as the top 2 players, with only a point separating us! :cool:
I would've liked to have stayed on after that game, but I'd already been playing for a couple of hours and my eyes were practically bleeding at that point. :heh:

There's already been a noticeable dip online though, due to Black Ops (quite why they released these games so close to each other is anyone's guess, ::shrug: bloody stupid decision though).

But yeah, it looks like it'll take a lot of playtime to level up enough to unlock everything, so I reckon most people that bought this will at least play long enough to do that.

Killing someone that was camping at the very top of the nightclub stage, from the bottom floor! :awesome:

Having a point blank firefight inside one of those tiny ventilation tunnels. :grin:

Blowing myself up with a grenade and then hearing Calv's character saying "I'm fighting with amateurs". :laughing:

Shooting welsh_gamer in the face while he was reloading. :heh:

Seeing David Melee attack the crap out of someone. :D (Not sure why, but I found it immensely amusing).

I gave up on Mario Kart after my 4 year old deleted my license for the 2nd time!
Was playing Goldeneye on-line these last few nights and had a sneaky feeling the n-europe crowd might have something going on.
Are the friend codes the Wii friend codes in which case mine is below or do I need to get one from the game?
Either way I will start adding you guys tonight and look forward to so battles. Outpost is by far my best level. Love hiding in the towers and going on long killing streaks.

The only thing that i find odd, is that you can't set up a proper private game online! At first I thought oh OK you just add everyone to a party first then at least you're all guaranteed a spot, but it only lets you invite 3 people. And you can't pick characters or anything. That was a shame, but its still so much fun, its logs the shots really well even if its laggy, i always found with COD that you be shooting someone and nothing would happen.

Redshell that Goldengun game was jokes. Its so funny, when you got the gun everyone going for ya but then you have a crazy advantage. Seems to take an age to get up levels.

Yes, it is a bit of a hassle to get everyone in the same party, but at least once you are in, it works fine.

I can't wait until I unlock some new weapons, as I already have all the achievements for the one I am using now and my favorite so far, the Sigmus 9.

I'm up to Level 15 on this now, it's taking a lot longer to level up as a result though. It's great when you have a really good game and get loads of kills + bonus XP for weapon proficiency, but I also get quite a few games where everything goes wrong and I end up with like 5 XP or something and no accolades. :heh:

Last two days were a wee bit laggy for me, but still enjoyable. i'll be on late tonight again.I've only encountered a couple of laggy games so far, but one of which was so ridiculously bad (literally couldn't even move around! :eek:) that I dropped out of the game.
Setting 'Region' to on tends to give better performance, at the expense of easily finding games though. ::shrug:

Anyway I'm still discovering things that I find incredibly amusing, the latest one is killing people while they're climbing a ladder. :D
Not only is it an easy target as they can't fight back, but watching the character suddenly stand up and then slide down again when they die is absolute comedy gold. :laughing:

Or perhaps I just need help. :heh:

I just reached level 13 and I have to say it is really starting to take a long time to level up. I can only imagine that it gets even worse. Although, in a way, it's a good thing that it doesn't let you level up quicker, since you actually have to earn the unlockables this way. I also switched to the shotgun to get some achievements, and I'm almost tempted to make it my standard loadout (or, at least, for the indoor maps.)

Yeah i've picked up a few shotguns in this game, first fps that i've liked a shotgun. Its just BLAM!

Still can't wait to unlcok the VH something something machine gun.

Also, how nerve racking is climbing ladders, you can look around around a bit wihlst climbing. And when you slide down and it suddenly stops midway and you realise someones trying to climb up :P

Indeed! Whenever I am climbing them I keep thinking "go quicker! go quicker!" If someone sees you climbing the ladder it is almost surely an instant death.

On a related note, earlier tonight, I was in a corner and didn't realize that there was another guy in the same corner who I was basically standing on top of. After about ten seconds he meleed me, which is when I noticed him. Somehow I guess he didn't see me either until then. Anyway, it was quite surprising suddenly just dying like that. :)

I just made it to Level 17, was bloody difficult getting there though as I switched to a shotgun at Lv. 16 (because I'd collected all of the available machine gun XP) and have been struggling ever since!
So yeah, looks like shotguns don't suit my style of play at all. :shakehead
Getting the bonus XP for them is going to be a right pain in arse.

Glad to see it's not just me enjoying the ladders in this game by the way. Who'd have thought such a simple thing would add so much extra fun. :hehe:

I don't tend to get that many headshots, I actually think the XP reward should've been a bit better for those.

One thing I've noticed since unlocking the Bio Booster (increased health) gadget, is that it's sometimes possible to survive melee attacks! You do get left in pretty bad shape (fully red screen edges) but it's awesome if you manage to run away quickly enough and find a safe spot. :grin:
Obviously it means that melee attacks will become less and less useful the more everyone levels up though, which is a shame. I just love sneaking up on someone and judo chopping their lights out. :laughing:

I doubt i'll get Black Ops whilst people are still playing this, i'll be on later tonight at some point if anyones interested. This is the only game that's been in my wii for the past 2 weeks, and its the only FPS since the original Goldeneye where i've actually wanted to replay some single player missions.

Yeah, I got that one tonight as well. It worked again after about 15 minutes though.

Level 14 now, but in the last few matches I have been getting about 500xp each, so it is going nice and steady.

This thread better still be kicking on Christmas Day...

I wouldn't worry about that, the multiplayer really is that good.

I imagine that most people won't even be unlocking the additional modes until around then, levelling up can take ages!

I'm at Lv. 19 after 16 or so hours of play time. The first extra mode isn't unlocked until Lv. 25, the last at Lv. 35. And there are even more guns/gadgets left to unlock, up to over Lv. 50! :eek:

Anyway, I managed to play pretty well tonight and to my surprise, with a shotgun as my main weapon! :o Perhaps I spoke too soon before... Although I think the stage you're on can have a lot to do with it, on the larger more open maps they're pretty much useless. Definitely not the case up close though. :cool:

This game can be so infuriating online sometimes! :angry:
I played some shockingly bad games a while ago (Calv can verify that I was absolutely awful) but even though things weren't going to plan, I kept on battling.

Fast forward to just a moment ago and I finally start getting back to my usual form, it's in a game of Heroes and I've got multiple hero eliminations under my belt (including an explosive and melee one) all adding up to around 900+ XP. Then, just as my team is about to win- "Host quits, leaving game" pops up on the screen. :eek:
AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! :mad:

It is without doubt the most annoying thing that can happen in this game. It wouldn't be so bad if you at least got to keep the XP that you'd just earned, but no, you lose it all! It's as if the last 10 minutes of game play just didn't happen. ::shrug:
It's difficult enough as it is to level up without this additional hurdle every so often.

I really do love this game, but the way they've made it so that someone quitting completely messes up everyone else in that match is just bloody stupid.

However it mostly happens at the beginning of the match, so it isn't that bad.

I just got to level 18, and I'm doing some of the proficiencies for the starter weapons (Sigmus and first shotgun). It's quite funny going back to them after being used to the better variants. I'm also trying to do the pistol XP, which isn't easy, but luckily I don't really care how many deaths I get, as I'm just trying to have fun.

Had a very funny moment while using that weapon on the jungle stage. I fired loads of shots at almost point blank range to an opponent, but every single one missed! :blush: Had the silencer equipped though so I obviously didn't show on his radar and somehow (God knows how :heh:) he didn't see me.
Anyway, in the end I just thought sod it, so I ran forward and took him out with a melee attack. :D

I just made it to Lv 22, woohoo extra armour! :heh: I'm also starting to make some good progress with my sniper proficiency, had a great run on the jungle stage. Using the sniper rifle is pretty fun actually, I still prefer the good old running around shooting everything that moves style of play though. :D

Thanks RedShell, the only reason I stopped playing you was because you were playing team conflict, which I don't find as fun as regular conflict. I would love another game tomorrow night maybe, but on regular conflict. :smile:

Yeah, I'm level 25 now, the Terralite of so much better than any of the lower-levelled guns, I also stole one of the level thirty something guns of someone, it was awesome!!:D:D:D
Anyway, I think the fastest way to level up is to get grade 6 in all of the weapons you have, also try to take care about how much you die (DON'T EVER CLIMB LADDERS!!!), a 10 streak kill gives you 150xp alone. Also, I noticed that most of my kills are fired from the hip, so that might have something to do with having a good kill-death ratio.
I'll be on tonight at around 7 for a couple of hours, so I hope to play some of you if more people have added me.

I also stole one of the level thirty something guns of someone, it was awesome!!:D:D:DYeah, picking up guns that high level players have dropped is cool. (And a nice little reward for killing them :heh:) It's pretty handy on Heroes mode too. ;)
Speaking of Heroes, I think that's also quite a good way of gaining XP, what with each hero elimination being worth 50! :cool:
Unfortunately though it seems to be the worst game mode for the dreaded "Host Quit" thing. :hmm:

Couldn't believe there was a Level 53 player in the mix too! :eek: I kept getting blown up by his proximity mines. :heh:

I did manage to steal his gun a few times though, yours too. ;) I noticed that both of you had your machine guns set to only fire a single bullet, was just wondering why? :hmm:
It actually got me killed the first time I picked one up, as I held down the B Button expecting rapid fire and got pea shooter mode instead! :laughing:

And yeah, those proximity mines were so annoying, Most of my deaths were because of them. The level 54 bloke we were playing is No.1 in the world, I checked and he's played for over 10 days!!! I think that I accidentally used the sniper rifle instead of my terralite, so you must've picked up that because I would never use single shot over automatic. I noticed you use the Sigmus 9, why not the stauger?
Not sure about you, but I find the golden gun mode really dull:blank:, although I'd never played heroes before but i found it fun, I will be playing that more as well.:smile:

Don't know about you lot, but I sometimes get surprised by team mates suddenly appearing in front of me (especially on the darker stages :D) and I tend to just shoot without realizing they're on my team. :laughing:
Obviously at the moment they don't get hurt/die (I notice that they still bleed though which is interesting :heh:) but yeah, when friendly fire is on it'll be a different story I'm sure.

I think the invite system is pretty flawed on this game though, I mean it's annoying that you can only send 3. And also silly that you can invite people that are already in a game, seems completely pointless. ::shrug:
Trying to join a friend's game is just as bad, you can't see what mode they're playing or how much time remains on the current game. It should be like Mario Kart, where you can watch the ongoing game live and switch the camera between different players etc...

Oh well, at least getting into random games is straightforward and for the most part very quick.

Anyway, I finally made it to Level 25 last night! :yay:
Terralite III is seriously awesome.

I tried to play a game on Licence to Kill mode, but there was only one other person connected to it and they dropped out after a while. :sad:

No, it was the facility. Although you did stop a few of my streaks in jungle as well. Well my record now is 9, so it wasn't really that good anyway.

I actually like outpost. I just run around so that snipers can't hit me, and blast anyone in my path away with my shotgun. That strategy usually gets me to the top three. Jungle is quite fun as well, I like it. Nightclub is ok, not my favorite, but it can be fun.

Trying to join a friend's game is just as bad, you can't see what mode they're playing or how much time remains on the current game.

I finally got to play on Licence to Kill mode last night. Despite there being over 800 Level 25 players out there, it seems really difficult to find games on that mode. :hmm:

It's just a shame you get the shame XP awards on it though, I was expecting it to offer higher amounts of XP, seeing as it's a lot tougher plus everyone is already Lv 25 or over and in need of more XP to level up.

Even though heroes is one of my least favorite game modes, I still had a lot of fun. Although at the beginning the host quitting was just ridiculous.

What in the world was that arcangel guy using? He kept blowing everyone up, but he was only level 20, and I don't think that you get a rpg or grenade launcher that early.

In total I earned about 600xp tonight :angry: I wasn't doing very well.

Woo, unlocked the Vargen FH-7 yesterday, It's the best gun yet bye far, it even makes the Terralite look rubbish!

I got it mostly for the single player game though. I tried a bit of Online yesterday and I gotta say I prefer the CoD: Black Ops Online mode. But it was fun none the less. Although the one plus this has over Black Ops is teh Sniper Rifle feels much better in this since it doesn't have that annoying shakey, hold A to steady aim, hold your breath mechanic to it.

Add me up anyway, I likely won't be playing Black Ops for a few days anyway as I'll be playing this for a bit anyway.

Though not really liking that Heroes mode. Really you'd be better off not becoming a Hero. Get a few kills on the other teams hero and you'll rack up a good lead. If nobody on your team activates hero at most you'll ever give away 1 point per death.

I'm finding I'm using the ADS a lot in this game (both online and in story mode), where in Black Ops I rarely use it... trying to tweak the settings but can't seem to get it to feel the same.

I've played this a bit and it's good, just not COD:BO good! Whilst I find it fun in short bursts it' a little bit vanilla and the maps especially lack the finesse of the maps in COD.

I've done 7 hours and 31 minutes so far and am level 18. I have a 3.47 K/D and tend to only play Conflict.

I will put in more time on this and hopefully will eventually through all the levels.

Played a bit of online earlier but didn't have a good time.

Saw Ad (who I assume is Adthegreat from here... btw him and Redshell are the only ones that added me back so far it seems) online and joined his game he was playing normal Conflict. Was doing ok until the most unfair piece of shit happened.

It was playing on the Archives map, I got killed, no big deal. Until I respawned... and died again instantly...WTF, then I realised I actually respwaned in the EXACT same spot that I died. WHAT THE FRAK IS UP WITH THAT?????

You'd think that would be it but then a few mins later I died again, no big deal... then RESPAWNED IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT AGAIN... AND DIED Again, killed by the same person. Who must have been having a right laugh as he just camped there with a sniper rifle and watched as respawned again in the EXACT SAME SPOT not once...not twice...not three time.... oh no... but FRAKKING 7 TIMES....

Yes 7 times I died and all 7 times I respawned in the exact same spot that I just died in. Not just the same general area or room but litterally the exact same spot.

And whats worse was that I could see the guy killing me, he was on the other side of the room, I was looking at him but could do nothing, he just camped in a corner and sniped me with a headshot the instant I respawned.

I got so pissed off that's why I left.

Went and tried Black Box for the first time which I actually enjoyed, but was still far too pissed off from the previous match I just turned off my Wii after that.

Also I thought there was meant to be some sort of feature that prevented camping?
Or is that only in the offline multiplayer?

Yes that has happened to me also, although not seven times. I routinely get the shortest life accolade because of similar events, but usually it only happens once or twice in a row. As for campers, in my experience they usually don't survive very long, because there aren't any spots where they can't be ambushed in one way or another. If a camper shoots me, then I will hunt him down.

Black Box is one of my favorite mods as well. Although sometimes when your teammates aren't doing what they are supposed to, it gets a bit frustrating.

Overall, it is quite interesting in multiplayer, because all the people are getting higher levels, so the gameplay is gradually changing as more powerful weapons become more prevalent. I remember right at the beginning, where no one had any health boosts, you could one-hit anybody with a melee attack, but now it almost always takes two. I do like the feature that you can pick up other peoples weapons though, especially from those of a much higher level. In fact, I was playing a few games against Prince Luigi, who is the highest ranking player (non-hacker) in the world (although, in his case, he isn't especially good, he just plays a lot, 12 days so far I think), so I had a lot of fun going around with his super powerful gun.

In another game I picked up a Wolfe .44 with laser. That was so much fun, although I wonder, how do you get attachments for your secondary guns?

Doesn't quite work though when the other guy was taking his head shot at the exact moment I respawned. Like I said I respwaned each time in the exact same spot each time. He wouldn't even of had to move his aim at all, just keep steady.

Anyway, my friends list still only shows 3 people... I'll have a go at trying to add people again tomorrow, maybe I got some numbers wrong :heh:

I have been having some very weird controller problems recently, wonder if anybody can help or advise.
I am using the Wiimote and Nunchuk. I put up our Christmas lightsat the weekend and since thwn the Wiimote has been playing up, does anybody know if the flashing lights could be messing with the infa red from the controller?

Also, since then I have adjusted the controller settings on Goldeneye having read a few posts but last night every time I tried to turn right I got the red No Entry symbol and when I was walking in a straigt line the symbol flashed up every couple of seconds. Again any help will be appreciated.

Lastly, I have since purchased the game again with the gold controller, any feedback on what is the best to use between the Wiimote and the Gold controller.

DUDE... thats hilarious, I been having a few minor niggles when turning right and getting the big red sign, its defo the christmas tree lights. I will be turning them off next time i play online.

I have tried the gold controller offline and it just seems slow and sluggish to me, wimote nunchuck all the way, I only got the Gold controller for SNES games and the fact that it's awesome in its own lovely Gold novelty way.

So yeah turn your tree lights off and you'll have no problems i bet.

Haha, it's been completely the opposite for me. I found the campaign to be brilliant but I am yet to touch the multiplayer! I don't even know what my Friend Code is! Haha

you should give the campaign a go for sure, it really is great!

Yeah the invites kept not working last night, that was odd. Good games anyway. A lot of the times I tried joining your game and it was saying it couldn't connect with host.

Did you notice there was a Level 12 in the you only live twice games (must have been a hacker) Also he was using the Wolfe hand cannon, that thing was awesome.

I found a great place for camping on the Facility Map. I only been caught there once, and I think that was because didn't have a silenced gun :santa:

I recorded a couple of matches last night, I'll upload them to the tube, but changing to the standard cables makes it so grainy it's hard to make out characters from a distance, I doubt I'll do any more.

Dazzle Capture Card, but I'm so used to playing with the Component cables that every time I decide to record some matches I have to change back to the Composite Cables and the Picture is so grainy it's awful I end up playing rubbish because of it :P

I unlocked the Anova DP3 a few days ago, I know I keep on saying this, but This gun is so much better than any of the previous guns, it kills in about 2 bullets!
Nice to see you still like the game RedShell, can't wait to play you again, I'm still on for an hour (at least) every day, and I'm still not bored! :o
And thinking about it, the Strata SV-400 is not that far away, only 3 levels, I doubt it will be as good as the Anova though, that thing is insane!
Sorry I haven't posted for a while, my laptop broke, and one last thing, my new name on Goldeneye is Kid A.

Had a few games online with DRIVE russia, I'd spot a name like that anywhere. He seemed to be tag teaming with a TRAVEL russia. Lol. It was completely at random as no one has added me back as yet. I've added everyone thats listed in the opening post.

Online is brutal. I'm the lowest level person in any skirmish I'm involved in and I'm finding it tough to even break even with the kill/ death ratio. :blank: I need to figure out how to play this game!

I've been playing randomers online tonight and having some fun with it all! The team conflict is great I think, even without voice chat and whatever. Just running round with some random people, knowing to cover each other a bit, etc, its good stuff. I've had over an hour on it and am up to level five. I played a single player conflict and it was total mayhem, with me finishing one before last. :blush:

Anyway. There was a time when there were no problems with the Invite. I once sent out three invites and we will instantly set up a room in the Team License to Kill. Ie. There were four on the server and we played 2x2. This problem is definitely a need to decide in the next patch!

Logging out of WFC and back in usually fixes it.
Hopefully next time we can all connect without any problem.

No. It was Kunara gun on that map. In the early levels are very difficult to snipe. Here is my set at the sniper.
1. Any sniper
2. Kunara or P99
3. Distraction
4. Reactive Armor
5. Bio Booster
6. Laser Pointer or Silencer

Last night was good fun :hehe: It was basically my first time as I'd only previously played something like 9 minutes online against random opposition weeks ago! I had a few decent rounds and a few shocking ones, such as the first match RedShell was involved in with me :nono:

Some of you guys are really good :heh: I'll hopefully improve if I play it a bit more and work out the map layouts! They were all unknown to me but my favourite so far is definitely Outpost :grin:Yeah, learning the map layouts is a must. I definitely started to enjoy the game more once I knew where I was going a bit better.
Even now though I still occasionally get lost. :heh:

As for decent rounds followed by shockers, well there will never be any escaping that. I frequently have games where I'm getting absolutely slaughtered, hardly get any kills and receive the dreaded "NO ACCOLADES AWARDED" message. :laughing:

The best tip I can give to those that started playing recently, is to steal!
That's right, steal guns that are lying around on the floor. ;)
When you're at a low level, the chances are you'll be picking up weapons that are unlocked at much higher levels.
Which is awesome because you obviously get to play with improved tools, but you also get a head start on the bonus XP for higher ranked weapons.

The only map I'm not keen on is Sewer, as it's so dark. Although when I unlock the Thermal Scope this map might be amazing.

You guys know you can use the grenade launcher attachment early if you use the default assault gun and hit up on the d-pad. I only found this out a few weeks ago, it's not as amazing as I was hoping.

Also, I reckon a Hero Kill should only be worth 3 points, as being a Hero, you need to get at least 10 Kills before you die to make it worth while.

Which brings me to proximity mines, they always catch me out. :P

Id say good, im not gonna get Black Ops because of this game, and im yet to even start exploring Monster Hunter properly, in fact i've hardly touched Brawl since I got Goldeneye, its just all out fun. I never get pissed off or stressed out when I loose at this. Its one of the best non nintendo game i've played in years, but it has the Nintendo like quality.

course its not perfect, but what game is.

I'll try to get online tonight hopefully too.

Well I finally gave this a go online this morning. I've only played for a couple hours or so just at the moment but I've got mixed feelings about it after my initial game time.

I thought I'd find it a bit more difficult not having any map awareness or any decent guns/gadgets etc. I don't think I went a match when I wasn't in the top 3 players at least, even though all were ranked way above me (level 20+).

The actual online system itself is what bugs me most. Not being able to amend your custom classes between rounds without dropping out is a pain and the guns being so insanely unbalanced for the ranks at which people are at.

My most major gripe so far is spawn points. Specifically; what the hell is up with these spawn points!
In a few games I've died, spawned exactly where I just died only to be killed again by the same guy within a second of me respawning... then for it to happen another 4-8 (yes, 8) f-ing times!
What the f...?!

When I'm not getting spawn raped though I'm doing fairly well.
But the multiplayer aspect of this game is poor when compared to Call of Duty's multiplayer... don't get me wrong, it's fun but not as much fun as CoD.

I'm afraid it looks like I'm going to be a CoD elitist! Which is a shame because this game could've been so much better than it is with a bit more polish and a little common sense from the developers thrown into multiplayer.
The campaign is still absolutely fantastic though!

I swear, half of my deaths come from me picking up other peoples weapons and getting shot in the process. Sewers was a new map for me tonight, o couldn't get my head round it at first but I got there in the end.

In "Team License to kill" this trick does not work - there is friendly fire. But if you want to be Iranian - no problem:D

I don't know what it is with the Nightclub, but my eyesight always go blurry when I play that map! I think it's a mix of the colours and lighting on the map, whenever I play it my eyesight starts to blur a bit and I have to keep rubbing my eyes to get rid of the blurryness... yet this doesn't happen at all on any other map or even game!
It's so weird.Wow, that is weird. :blank:
But yeah, I guess it must be to do with the colours. That's basically the main difference between Nightclub and the rest of the maps. ::shrug:

I had a few games of conflict this morning and was kicking so much ass I actually felt bad for the opposition (I was still the lowest ranked person in the room too, haha). It started off with me joining a game part way through on Archives, the person in the lead had 10 or 11 kills as I had joined and yet I still ended up winning 30 kills for 12 deaths!

I'm enjoying kicking ass on this, it's pretty funny too as I've not yet been to bed and I'm still a little drunk from last night, haha.

...Ok, so now it's happened to me a couple times this morning, I too HATE it with a passion when the host quits! It's so poop that your kills/XP etc dot get counted.
I've just had a game where the host quit as I was 23 kills for 2 deaths... gutted!

And one more thing. Kav82! If you play as a hero. For the murder of player (if you're a hero) - 1 point for killing, a hero (if you're a hero) - 5 points. So do not risk with high-level players! Leave them to us.

If your name is on the top of the room - you host. (first from top on room name list).

I've had this happen to me a couple of times, unfortunately, but I thought it was just a case of my Wii freezing :hmm: I would have been playing with darksnowman on at least one of the occasions and don't recall him complaining about his Wii freezing aswell. Perhaps it was just mine, then :sad:

It only seems to happen when I'm doing well :indeed:

I've been stuck on Level 27 now for what seems like eternity! Seriously, why did the developers make levelling-up such a slooooooow process? ::shrug:

And having certain levels not give any reward at all (like Lv 27 for example :indeed:) is just plain wrong. :shakehead

I understand the idea that unlocking better weapons and stuff should take time, but you'd think that spending 50 hours online would be sufficient to unlock everything. :blank:

Anyway, played some interesting team games last night with DRIVE russia and his friend (who I'm sure I've added but isn't showing up on my roster :hmm:), I spent most of the time picking up their guns! :grin:
That FH-7 machine gun is insane!! :awesome:
So yeah, I kept going for that one as much as possible. Managed to get myself the first few proficiency awards for it too. ;)

I've noticed that if I pick up another weapon and walk away whilst still trying to pick it up the game freezes.

Sniper Rifle + Kunara V = Awesome

Also, I'm sure it's not random people that host, I think certain people get to host, probably going by connection speed. Kav82 is one of them, and twice he's host quit lol.

One of my mates has played online twice with me and both times he hosted, shame he never plays online.

Does anyone else ever start playing the Hero by accident because they were trying to check the score :P

I've not backed out of a game whilst we've all been playing together. I've left after the host quit, whilst it was trying to find a new host for the session and called it a night but I haven't quit mid match... simply because I know how much of a ball-ache it is!

Also, I've selected to play as the Hero so many times when I was just wanting to look at the score! lol

Certainly is good to be playing with someone I know for a change but alas, I've no idea when I will next be unless I have some games tomorrow before I leave.

And I've not been on MHT in a while myself. Well, not properly. I went online sometime the other week but no one on my friends list was on and whilst I thought about helping some strangers, I just wanted to play with some of you lot whilst I could.

I'm so glad that first host went, my connection was awful, it seemed so slow when playing. After the first host left it got better though!

I usually go on late, after everyone has come off Black Ops. This is usually about 10:30pm on any given night.

I unlocked the silencer and since sticking it on my guns I've been doing a hell of a lot better! I really am looking forward to unlocking some better weapons (Terralite III and Vargen-FH7), only level 21 at the moment though.

That fecking jimmy didn't half piss me off tonight, he kept team killing me every time he saw me! I was getting so annoyed.

If we get team killers on our team again don't expect me to hang around, I'll leave that room whether I'm host or not!

Anyhoo, I left because one of my friends came round so I didn't get to game as much as I'd have liked.

Sorry Red Shell, for what our party for you is not enough place today) the rookie took you place... It's cool that invites today worked well. In "Team license to kill" was a very good games. Until we have joined to us cheater. Have you noticed? He was 1 level and use mines 50lv! And finally! Finally, in the "Team License to Kill" you can find multiple servers at once!

Meanwhile, I find it difficult to play in the BlackBox and GoldenEye without my friend - SpyHard (RedShell try again - his friend 3480-3352-0013). I cant tell my partner: "Hey, do not go away! Keep this point!" It has pushed me to make videofaq on game)

Dont forget about my mine. Anders, did you see that explosion on the rookie at the docks? It was my mine on it) victory will be easier if we make secure! I'm trying to attach a mine to you all, but it's hard to do if you do not stand in one place(

Agree. That's why you should play with three friends.

I would also like to add that I do not cheat!!!!!!!!!! I use mine level 35! Why do most of the others want to kill me (license to kill) and only me - on purpose), out of the game and even block my use of explosives????? Oh, they think I cheat ...

RedShell (only one game:wtf:???)Well, right at the end of that team license to kill game (my first on that mode) the game froze and made that annoying buzzing sound, so I had to turn off my Wii. :mad: (I lost all the kills/XP from that game, checked my record and there were no friendly fires on there).
When I came back, Calv had already gone offline and it wouldn't let me join you or Kav, so I called it a day. ::shrug:

Yeah just as that game ended my wii buzzed and froze too, i was just about to start up again and wifey came home so I thought i'd call it a night then, good games though. Has anyone got round to using Thermal scope online yet, can't wait to get that, using smoke grenades and thermal in the corridor on Docks will be a kill fest. And on Memorial.

I picked one up recently and it really is very fun. I didn't do so well, as I never really tried sniping, but I can imagine that for a seasoned sniper it certainly will help.

Its less accurate than the toros and it's huge! Seriously, it may not sound like a problem but it really is, although the WA2000 is awesome. :)

I played some quality games last night, a couple of which saw me collecting over 1000 XP per game! :awesome:

Does no one else think that the developers were out of their minds when they came up with this XP system?

Apparently you need something like 1.5 million XP to reach Lv 56! :o So if you average say 2000 XP per hour, it'd take you around 31 days solid play (in other words, 750 hours!) to get there. :blank:

It is a bit ridiculous, yes. Maybe in the alleged "patch" that we may or may not see, they will change some of the XP characteristics. Keeping XP after a host quit would already help, and then perhaps there could be more ways to get XP, or everything that already gives XP is increased.

I haven't been playing recently but I will try to get on tonight.

This guy called George kept killing me on Team Licence to Kill! Not only that, but he could always be in the same spot that I re-spawned in, even ones that were really far apart! :eek:
Crazy fool must have been using some kind of hack. ::shrug:

And another host quit on the Jungle stage, just when I'm racking up some kills with the sniper rifle. :weep:

This game can be so annoying. :sad:

i had the same on that level, kept dying instantly by the same player and after a few minutes realised he was on my team which really confused me as I did not know what level we were playing.
redshell you sniped me a few timeson Jungle and when I realised where you were hiding the host quit before I could exact my revenge. Glad to have you back fell like I have been playing exclusivly with Drive Rus and his gang of late.

I see lots of players using them on other stages, but whenever I try it never goes well. :shakehead
That's why I hate it when there's a host quit on Jungle, I'm trying to get the final XP bonus for my sniper rifle and it's pretty much impossible. :blank:

Sniping is good for every level except Archives and sewer. And it can be hit and miss on facility. But Station Jungle Docks and Outpost have some great sniping opertunities.

I picked up someone elses Talon with Thermal scope the other day, it's cooooool. cant wait to get that then change my gadget to distraction and get some kills from hiding in the smoke.

Hey Drive I was recording them games yesterday, the first 2 i was involved in were really laggy, I kept blaming the fact that I had changed my leads over but, it got a bit better after that, I tried uploading one to youtube last night but it failed on 92% at 12:25 am :P

Being Bond in Docks outside that closed off area with body guards is just good strategy.

And every time we tried those suicide bombings you seemed to do it just a tad early.

Your life is also often hung on the brink. As well, and my too - thanks to bio booster and armor on me;)
About your sniping at 0:54... Oh man... You cant snipe from that place. It looks like you can, but actually bullets only reach this metallic grid. If you want to snipe, you must snipe from the corner to the right - THROUGH the grid.
Oh yes. One question! Why the video is narrowed? It's because you're playing on TV 4:3, but on the wii turned on 16:9?????
