IGN's Rev Channel

IGN has just launched the channel for the Revolution... and its called... revolution.ign.com

Earlier, they said they waited in order to get more details about the Rev, as well as its real name. Now that it's launched, could Revolution really be the final name?

If you read the letter from the editor, it sounds more like he caved in to pressure and decided it was better to be early rather than late. It doesn't make sense to me to launch a channel under the code name if they're going to reveal the real name soon so if anything I interpret this as bad news that there's no sign of them revealing the name (I'd rather be pessimistic and be happily surprised than optimistic and let down)

I think a channel was overdue, if you're looking for Rev infos you can only find them on IGN with the help of google, now they are all collected finally. But it could be a bit confusing making a channel with the codename.

More likely he's actually been preparing the new site, hence the lack of editorials to make up for the absence of news.

I do like the neon blue glow they've got on the title/links for for each article, matches with the blue glow of the drive slot.

Well he has a fulltime job there which means about 8 hours of work each day - and yeah the page looks good but it doesn't take more than a few days to make it.
