Just picked it up myself off import and had a short go on it last night seems like it has alot to do on it plus the map design mode is superb with the stylus.
I only picked up my first ever Advance wars game last month (Advance wars 2) to see if I like it or not and whether I would be able to play this type of game, so far it's been a blast!

I have it(imported) and all I have to say is its absolutely FANTASTIC and by far the best game so far, and has enough lifespan to last you ages. DS really needed a game with a lot of depth and here it is. Its just PERFECT in terms of its genre, every Advance Wars fan needs it and peopel who haven't played any AW games, there has never been a better time to get into it. Everyone who is getting PAL release look forward to 30th september because trust me you won't be disappointed.

Pre-ordered and fully payed at the local game-shop here in Old Europe. Only few things are more satisfying - in terms of electronic gaming I bid - than walking in some gameshop, picking up a game that you have payed for long ago, and walking out with a foul grin on your face.

The game will rock my DS, as AW2 rocked my GBA and as Jennifer Connely is currently rocking my delicat levels of testosteron.

I have the game for quite sme time and it's marvelous! I didn't play 2, but this has lots of new stuff. First of all batling in new fronts ,new types of units like pipe runners and "constructor" boats, switching COs, using skills, double powers and super powers adds a lot of depth to the game. Second the music is awesome. The game is freaking HUGE there are so many modes to play, things to unlock, medals, multplayer and let's not forget the map creation mode. Forget the quasi GBA graphics and reviewers saying it doesn't have a lot of new stuff. BUY THIS NOW!

I really can not wait. I loved the first even though it was a bit tricky. I have the second but I found one mission so hard that I gave up which kind of ruined it for me but it hasn't ruined the franchise for me. I can't wait for this plus castlevania is released on the same day...which one shall I play first? lol

In AW1 i cant finish the last 2 or 3 war room levels...totally impossible. I never could find AW2 around in shops ( I dont buy things online). Definatley looking forward to this. I heard the new combat mode mini-game-type-thingy is also pretty cool?

Yep, the 30th can’t come soon enough.
I would have imported this but I wanted Nintendogs too much :aww: . (Damn multiple game release dates! :mad: ) Still I’m glad I got Nintendogs first, but I get the impression that my dogs are going to be a bit neglected once I get Dual Strike! :grin:
