The award show was on Nov. 30 in Essen, Germany (of course)
Games were not judged by commercial success but by a good interface, innovate ideas and so on.
Best console game 2005 international Nintendogs
Best PC game 2005 international Battlefield 2
Best online game 2005 international World of Warcraft
Then there were some awards for german developers:
Legend of Kay got awards for best game-/leveldesign, best graphics, best story.
Settlers 5 Heritage of the Kings got an award for best cutscenes and best strategy game.
