A Nintendo Christmas Carol

[Sprout]

So, I'm bored, with barely anything to do. I open up my music files, and notice 'Scrooge', from the Muppets Christmas Carol. Then I got this idea, a Nintendo Christmas Carol. I immediately started working on it. The best I can do however are comics made in paint :heh:. My plan is to have 24 comics, a new one everyday, ending on Christmas Eve. It may change, but for now, who knows. So here's the first one. Enjoy :).

I doubt we will have more news from nintendo in december as they said nothin in 2nd december, and are already preping up for E3.

Bloody forum, its completely messed up! I'd best explain why there are three posts that include the same mag. Well, when I first tried posting it, the message wouldn't appear. Later, I saw that there was a new post on another thread. Hoping that I could do the same, I tried reposting. Nada. In game layers?yeah, through running the games on a PC (not legal unless you own the games) you can turn things off like BG#1, BG#2, BG#3, BG#4, you can even turn the sprites off... no need to be editing them by hand.

also I can rip the sprites easily with other methods, depending of the situation, there's also debbugers who show you what sprites are currently on the RAM, is just a matter of scrolling for them.

I've been reading this since the start and I'm really enjoying it. It has the emotional feel of the original, but with some humor and Nintendo flavour to spice it up. I love the little images at the top too!

It varies, depending on what I must do. Our last comic took longer to make than usual because I had to make that gate and gravestones for the cemetery. They mostly take four hours, tops.

He's not referring to you being killed at all and is not joking about death, you'll probably find that this sought of thing happens often in comics, films and games. unless you have a good reason to be annoyed by this rather than just saying joking about death then i think you've just ruined this whole thread and lowered the mood drasticly. You know, I thought the same thing at the time. "Now I have all this time, I can make comics and put 'em up early". Then I was haunted by that Animal Crossing disc, inserted comfortably in my Gamecube, urging me to play it, with it's freaky musical dogs and money grabbing raccoons. Damn.

Also, Mag will probably be up as late as last night, as I am going out for a nice carvery, as it is my father's birthday today. Apologies in advance.

Its not hugely important but it gives scrooge another reason to re-kindle his love for christmas, so i was just wondering why you missed it out?
