hmmm.. never thought id do this.. but I have to.. I think my game is cheating.. oh yes it is...
On the mission part.. the last mission on 1 level.. where you have to boost around that course 4 times.. how the frigging turbo drive do you get 3 stars?
Is there i trick i missed? I have tried for hours.. maybe it's just my aging reflexes that can't keep up any more..

iirc; to get three stars, your turbo boosts and sliding have to be perfect. Ie you press left-right-left-right(not mash it about till it works) and stick to a good line around the corners.

plus, finishing the track quickly is a must.

yeah.. what I thought.. no easy way.. its just that I think the difficult level rose very much from the secon last mission to the last.. so I thought there was a trick that I just wasnt seeing.. thanks

finally did it.. i must have tried it about 50 times... and the boss i go 3 stars from on the first try....

On the 3rd level, how the FUCK do you get the monty fucking moles with the shells? Its driving me up the frigging wall....

What i done was grab a shell and line myself up. Then i drive forward until im close to 1 and hit it. After just reverse and grabe a shell and repeat. I got 3 stars doing this.

I just grabbed a shell...held it behind me and then positioned it above on of the holes. The mole will jump up and hit the shell. No aimind or timing required...just hold it behind you.

I tried hero of times method multiple times and it just doesnt work. I'm going to try minlack's method though, it sounds promising and I never thought of doing it that way.

i just got a shell behind me and got another one, you know 'spare' in that box. went over to one hole, as the mole came down i shot it, then again cos i had the spare, then i went back got 2 more, did it again then did it another 1 time and got 3 stars. just wait till he comes down, thats what i did

Did it with minlacks method and got 3 stars first time. Can't complain!

Anyone know how I can get a star ranking on mission 6-2, the one where you have to hit the Rocky Wrenches. That one is just so annoying to do. =/

I know you have done it now, but I thought I would explain my method anyway.

I stopped over the middle box, got myself to an angle where the shells would go back and forth between the fences, then just went crazy firing off loads of shells:

So, the red X's are the boxe's and the blue line is the movement of the shells and the the L is Luigi and the brown bits are the moles, easy!
