Ah crap! I've not finished my transfer dealings!

Oh god sorry I thought a week would be enough. :hmm:

I have a few to sort out to but then again I have a game off!

I'm in minus econs  so i guess i'm finished with transfers (apart from selling).

Forms pretty bad at the moment though :( so unless everyone's form is shit i could be looking at a very poor start... oh well.. it'll be good to be playing again.

My form is terrible and my team is in the middle of a transfer operation. I expect relegation this season. Staying up will be a miracle.

Haden

The starting form of a player that is new to the sqaud either just brought or promoted from youth, is this any indication of his form tendancies?

Let's do this shit.

Brian Mcoy
24-01-2010, 11:34 PM
Mcoy's first game is against his friend which is not desirable as it could end up with embaressment!

Mcoy is in good form, transfers are completed and 90% of players in top form for the first match of the season.

Mcoy's predictions for the season

Aficionados will be close with contenders Haden, Roostophe Rovers.

League one will have Dyson (if he plays) Emo and Recall looking for promotion spots while Dud's, Madpool and Soap Box may be in for a fight against relegation.

League two should be interesting with Mcoy, Domestercool, Cubic, Ed and Eights all looking for a promotion. There are also a few teams who we do not know what will be like yet.

uəʌəsʎɐɾ
24-01-2010, 11:45 PM
No. Soap Box won't be fighting relegation, they'll be settling for mid-table easy. I think Mundi, Rowan and Dyson have the strongest chance for promotion.

Odwin back in teh big league is like juventus making their way back into Serie A - there'll be a lot of people who will see a win over him equalling a title championship :P Should be interesting to see.

This season the lower league will have more active members fighting out for promotion - I think that'll be an interesting one to watch!

Personally I think I should be able to manage survival in this league, but will likely fight relegation again.

Side-note; I'm establishing a new league with my housemates and a few other amigos! I, of course, predict that I shall win this league outright with no worries.

DuD
24-01-2010, 11:55 PM
I can't see Recall being up in the promotion places, but then again i didn't see Cubic getting relegated last season.

I reckon Jay's called the promotion places right. Not sure about relegation.. i'll probably be in the scrap again, but hopefully i'll be able to survive again.

:EDIT:

Having just looked at his team, i wouldn't write Shorty's promotion chances off.

Shorty

On an unrelated-ish note, globin.

Can any X11 experts tell me, how long is there normally between a season and a cup when you start the season as "season with cup"? I find the administration of a league on X11 confusing, there are not enough administrative screens and controls etc.

On a more related note, I am looking forward to this season :D should be a good challenge.

Mr_Odwin
25-01-2010, 08:49 AM
As admin you have to "start the cup" after you have started the league.

Shorty
25-01-2010, 09:01 AM
That's what I read on the rules... it said go to "League Info" then start cup, but there's no link there. Does that mean I've done it already (and presumably forgotten) or I'm too late? We just had the last match of our first season yesterday.

If I'd already done it, would the first round fixtures be up already? Thanks for the help, and sorry to hijack the thread a little.

Ellmeister

I think it will be harder to get points than last year but I believe I should end up just above relegation! With Odwinicas, Noodleman and possibly ReZ all going down again! Sorry fellas, just a prediction!

You would have to start a cup during the early part of a season. It runs alongside the league matches. You can't have a cup between league seasons. You'd have one league match and one cup match per week. You can fit two cups into one league season generally, because the league takes so long playing just one match a week.

I'm predicting a loss for me with my form. I'm glad I've got Silverdale as opposed to one of the teams i should really be beating.

If i get a point i'll be a happy bunny.

Brian Mcoy
25-01-2010, 05:40 PM
Mcoy is actually quite nervous about tomorrows game.

Mcoy's team, form and experience are all top notch and he is playing at home. But facing a new club and Mcoy's awful trend last season he can't help but feel a bit apprehensive about playing ANYONE let alone a new team.

DuD - having just scoped out my opponents for tomorrow, I have to agree! I am ready for the sadness. We've played 6 times before and I've only won one of them (though the last two times we played I won and drew!). SUPPOSEDLY my team is currently stronger, but I currently have an extreme lack of confidence in my players.

Midleague predictions this week; Shorty, Mundi, Rowan and Twozzok to win.

First match of the new season in a couple of hours :D Hope everyone has set their tactics.

Oh and another quick question: how soon do you get the change report after the last match of a season? And when can you start a new season? I was not made to be a league admin...

uəʌəsʎɐɾ
26-01-2010, 10:44 AM
Am I correct in replying it's a week after the last match, to teh day? That's always what I've believed it's been with our league, at least. Not clued up on teh new-league stuff though I presume you can do it fairly snappy, unless you think a buffer 'transfer' period might be worthwhile!

I set my tactics last night. These are the haunting hours before a game where I bite my psychological nails and try not to be tempted to even look at my tactics!

Mr_Odwin
26-01-2010, 10:47 AM
Under league info you can see when the league starts and ends. You get your change report the day after the league ends.

I don't know about setting up the league again. Fairly soon I think.

One of two teams in teh entire league STILL YET TO CONCEDE A GOAL... Lols :P

My keeper had a banging game - 11 skill. Shorty had more chances despite playing defensive. Weirdly there were no chances at all during the first half!

Played three youth who didn't really shine at all, one got injured, too.

My next game against silverdale will be interesting as VIP tells me we're pactically identical teams. VIP is so helpful - the form development graph is going to help me focus on getting a better team... May have to invest in it in future!

P.S. Keeper and striker in X11, manager of the round, and a defender scored :P

Essex Elites 2-1 Noodle Esporte Clube

The Elites started off their campaign well winning against a determined Noodle side. The 1st half was quiet but the Elites suffered some misfortune as Hagersten their youth goalie collied into a post and was taken off, he will be back early next month. The game stepped up in the 2nd half as both teams had chances to score. It was the Elites with their daring 3-4-3formation that took the lead, Marples hit in two shots within a 12 minute period to put the Elites on the home stretch. However Noodle hit back with Batistuta the veteran Noodle striker opening his top league scoring with a a close range shot that went in off the post. The Elites were strong though even with only 3 defenders and goalie substitutions they held on for the win. This was a good opening game for both teams, the Elites secured the win. While Noodle showed they are not a walkover and are ready for the top league.

Secret United 1-1 AFC Rez Rabies

The shock result of the day came as Rabies returning to the top league as Division 1 champions held United to a draw. Maybe it should not have been a shock, Rabies manager has proven himself to be a tactically astute manager and worked to Rabies strengths today. Ignoring the midfield battle where Rabies were hopelessly out gunned, Rabies played a 5-3-2 formation. Gladh set up Fjallstrom who headed in a cross giving Rabies a great early lead. United pushed forward but failed to make ground against a 5 man Rabies defense led by the inspirational Soder. Just as United fans were bracing themselves for the awful reality of a shock away defeat Brusling the club legend volleyed in a goal with 3 minutes to go. The match was over and Rabies sent a warning shot out to the top clubs that just as Happenstance stayed up last season, the established order might not be able to swat away the promoted sides. United are still a great team looking for glory but need to bounce back quickly after this set back.

Roostophe Rovers 5-2 The Sixty Fourthers

Rovers showed they are ready to win the title again beating the 64s comprehensively in their opening game. Rovers went ahead via an awkward own goal in a 1st half that was strewn with bad fouls and 5 yellow cards. The 2nd half had another 5 yellow cards but Rovers kept attacking with Hasopolaltli striking in a close range shot then threading through Mazzoleni to make it 3-0. Goblecoqe scored with a diving header to bring the 64s back into the match. Sheldon however scored not 1 but 2 direct free kicks. The first a blasting effort that hit the crossbar and went in, the second a curler that nestled in the top right hand corner. Collins headed a goal in for 64s 5 minutes into injury team but by this time the Rovers fans were singing loud and nothing was going to stop them. Rovers really underperformed last season but look to be back at their best this was a ferocious display that completely took the normally steady 64s off balance.

Battlestar Odwinica 0-2 Happenstance FC

Happenstance scored the only away win in the league as they outplayed a promoted Odwinica team. Odwinica while having a much respected manager seemed unready for this match with injury worries and transfer business still looming, their performance was not a great one. A few of their team had never played a game before and teamwork seemed to suffer because of this. Happenstance also had new additions, but their new midfielder Kono crossed in a great corner for Burbage to smash in his 50th goal for Happenstance. Happenstance played out the rest of the game with no real threat coming from Odwinica, Happenstance had 60% of possession. On the 91st minute Harford who had been a rock in defense curled home a direct free kick to give Happenstance a 2-0 win. Happenstance start off well while Odwinica look uneasy in their new environment.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Secret United 1-1 AFC Rez Rabies, only promoted side to get a point Rabies did very well in their first match.

Turned on the Style Award: Roostophe Rovers, could Rovers ageing but incredibly talented side be at their best this season? This results says yes.

Player of the Day: Otto Sheldon, Roostophe Rovers, 2 direct free kicks and an assist rounded off an incredible day for Rovers.

I'm going to attempt to be a bit more active on here, after all I do post countless press releases, so it's not as if I have nothing to say! I'd like to think I should win against Veni, Mcoy was pretty unlucky, but my team has a track history of underperforming, might be because I've focused a lot on youth?

I'm happy with my first result though, managed to squeek out an away win! Also nice to see a fellow Essexer winning today, hopefully Elliot can somehow gain a surprise title in the top league, you never know ;]!

Hello League One

Tin Can Club 1-1 Recall United

A demoted side met a promoted side in a matchup that really picked up in the 2nd half. Tin Can Clubs 4-3-3 vs Uniteds 5-4-1 looked to spell a bore of a game as there was 1 chance in the 1st half. However there was 9 in the 2nd half as both teams tried to establish themselves in this league they are both new to. United's larger midfield gave them more chances and new striker Gers headed in a goal at the near post with 4 minutes to go. Tin Can Club staring defeat in the face suddenly upped their game and the formation worked out with two strikers, Piearce and Einersen combining, the former crossing a ball in for the latter to strike in. Tin Can Club now looked out for blood, the game went into added time and they poured forward against the barricaded United defense. One missed tackle and Tin Can Club were given a penalty. Marteinson stepped up bravely, stamped down on some grass near the ball took a run up hit it right and.... it was beautifully tipped past the post by Antia the United goalie. The game ended in a draw a fair result in what was an entertaining encounter.

Emo Blades 1-0 Soap Box Utd

Blades edged a victory against old foes Utd in a tactical match. In this match too, the 1st half was a slight bore fest with no chances at all. However in the 2nd half the game picked up with 7 chances. Blades were playing a youth here and there and Utd seemed to be capitalizing with 57% possession. Utd however couldn't work their way past the Blades goalie who was on fire. Utds defense was on very good form but Blades worked a move that got past it, Piechnik ended up heading in a floating cross in the 61st minute. Utds young strike force were not up to overturning the Blades to get a point out of the match. Still it was an even encounter that showed both teams up as hard to beat tactical sides whose only weakness may be the ability to land a killer blow.

Silverdale Hotpot 2-1 DuDs Baggies

The report has long been an admirer of both of these teams, there is talk as of late among managers that Silverdale are favorites for promotion. While favoring Silverdale the report was unsure if this was true with such strong competition. However Silverdale have got off to a winning start in a chaotic match. The game started off very badly for Silverdale as their star striker Sidwell was injured 4 minutes into the new season. However Hardings finding himself with the ball just outside the box after a cleared corner, smacked it in with a great shot for a defender for his first ever goal for the club! Baggies played 5-3-2 fearing a loss, however this strategy backfired. Firstly their midfield was limited to creating 2 chances, secondly one of their defenders was injured on 62 minutes but because Baggies used all 5 of their defenders to start, a midfielder had to take his place. 7 minutes later Silverdale struck again as a superb Drynan threaded a ball through the chaotic Baggies defense to put Beresford through for a chance that he wouldn't miss. Gillchrist hit back for the Baggies with a nice shot. However it was to little to late and Baggies lacked the get up and go to fight for a 2nd goal. These are 2 of only 3 teams that were in this league last season and both will be fighting to be promoted, first round to Silverdale but theres a long way to go.

Jaffa Munchers 3-1 Madpool

Munchers were on top form as they became the only promoted side to earn 3 points. Not only that but they did it against former top league team Madpool. Madpool did suffer some misfortune early on as sublime midfielder Quintal was injured early in the match. Despite this Hadley another Madpool midfield star whipped in a ball for Mumby to slot in. Playing 5-4-1 though Madpool once they were unable to win the midfield race looked like they were on the backfoot. Munchers were a much more cohesive unit and began to create chance after chance. McAnuff suppled Geller with a cross that he headed in before the break. In the 2nd half Munchers kept on creating more chances, Elias put away an easy close range shot then McAnuff followed this with a shot just inside the box to make it 3-1. Munchers deserved the win and have now won their past 3 games from this league and last seasons league. In comparison Madpool have lost their last 3. Is promotion momentum going to help the Munchers succeed?

Analysis

Most Important Result: Jaffa Munchers 3-1 Madpool, great win for the promoted side against the former top leaguers.

Turned on the Style Award: Jaffa Munchers, other teams need to start taking notice, 10 chances and 3 goals is not something to take lightly.

Player of the Day: Morris Drynan, Silverdale Hotpot, set up a goal and kept the Baggies at bay helped Silverdale get off to a good start.

I quite like the little things they've updated in the interface such as the running order for captains and free kicks as well as the match experience + average form popping up when you hover over a player when setting tactics. Pleased with the victory on Tuesday, hoping it's a sign of things to come.

During a practice session to see who can hit the bar the most times, Jerrard Beresford hits it six out of six. His teammates are so excited they jump on him and as he tumbles to the ground he manages to twist his ankle. He will be missing for 10 days due to his injury.

Eights United is a superstar

Mcoys Sons 1-1 Veni Vedi Vici

An interesting encounter, saw the only fully new manager of our league take on the manager who introduced him to us! Vici got off to a feisty start taking only 4 minutes to score their first ever goal as Gower a veteran midfielder thumped home a corner. The Sons were taken aback but kept control of themselves and the game. Just before the first half they hit back with Jevons feeding the ball to Harris who hit it in, the two strikers both have a good game. Not good enough however to score more than once. The Sons controlled the rest of the game but Vici held out and showed resilience, Kilner the Vici goalie kept out a few shots for Vici and had a great debut to the league. Sons will be annoyed at being shown up by a side they surely saw as a mentor not an equal. However it was a good game for both teams and neither should be upset with this result.

Discount Viagra 3-1 Martinists Men

Viagra after just missing out on promotion last season started off strong against a poor Men's side. Playing 4-3-3 Viagra were confident of victory, the young midfielder Jordan skipped past two defenders and took it round the goalie to put Viagra in the lead. Flood and Ewing both scored in quick succession in the 2nd half, Flood with a guided header and Ewing with a awkward looking but successful close range shot. Arcanu scored his first ever goal for Men with a last minute header but it was nothing more than a consolation for the Men. Viagra weren't on supreme form (Men were rather poor) but showed intent and scored 3 goals, looks like they will be trying for another promotion push!

Complete Domstercool 1-3 Eights United

Eights United impressed last season testing the dominant forces of the league and are now a major player. Grorud fed a ball through to Yusri early on to put United 1-0 up after he shot it in off the post. Domstercool struck right back as Rodwell curled in a sweet shot 2 minutes later, the 33rd goal of his career. United played 3-5-2 and this formation worked to perfection, knowing the weakness of Domstercool is usually their forwards and their usual strength are their midfield this was a great strategy. United ended up with 7 chances to 1 a great feat, they converted one of these chances before the half was over as Grorud hit a looping header home. Domstercool lacked any cutting play and their eternal decline as a club seems to continue. United sealed a deserved win as youth midfielder Fjellbekk who had a tremendous game, fed a ball through to Gresdahl who made no mistakes. United are stepping up and must be considered a contendor after this display, Domstercool on the other hand need a huge change in direction.

Ten Plus Win 2-3 Edd Kirby Athletic

A captivating match saw former Made of Win manager returning with a new club facing relegated Athletic. It all started so badly for Ten Plus Win, Hotei hit a back pass in by mistake scoring an own goal then gained a yellow card for arguing with his own goalie! Athletic pushed their advantage, playing 3-5-2 Kirby Jr had space to set up fellow midfielder Hill who hit a shot into the top right hand corner. Athletic seemed to have sealed the win but the 2nd half started and Ten Plus Win rushed out of the starting blocks. Koji a Ten Plus Win skilled defender set up a cross from the right hand side twice in 3 minute for 2 goals to make it 2-2 as the home crowd cheered and roared! Ten Plus Win came at Athletic with chance after chance just like Athletic came at them in the first half. Amongst all this offense that man Hill slotted a goal in with 10 minutes to go out of a scrappy cross to break the home crowds hat. Athletic closed out the win as Ten Plus Win still went for a victory. A thrilling match that could have gone either way, this season could well be a thrilling one!

Analysis

Most Important Result: Complete Domstercool 1-3 Eights United, United are priming themselves for a really good finish this season and what a way to start.

Turned on the Style Award: Ten Plus Win and Edd Kirby Athletic, had to give this award to both these teams, 18 chances an incredible display of football.

Player of the Day: Fredrick Hill, Edd Kirby Athletic, the difference maker in a thrilling game.

How about a 16 year old 3 skill forward with goal instincts, heading and leader qualities.

He's very good. Goal instincts + heading = goals galore.

He'll be an 18 5, 20 7, 25 10/11.

Only thing is he's so bad at the moment you have to play him in your team right now. That's why I tend to buy players a wee bit older than that and pay a bit more.

Trust one of my forwards to have the game of his career in a friendly... so no points and pretty much no match exp. Oh well its still great to see him play so well. Campa was going to be one of my cash-ins, but if he continues to score hat-tricks i think he may just be a one to keep :D

Disappointed that my keeper let in Tale's single chance of the game. He looks like he may be a waste of money that i could have used to strengthen the squad elsewhere :(

Cheers for the game Tales :)

Mcoy realizes why he (sometime) hates this game for it's pure bullshitness in luck.

Mcoy goes against a team that barely bothers to set tactics and who's players CONSTANTLY underpeform, however he plays defensive and gets a 0 - 0 draw because his goalkeeper randomly performs brilliantly.

/frustrated at luck factor of the game

Mcoy will just have to recover his men and try again next week, if this keeps up Mcoy's won't win a single game this year.

DuD I'm genuinely afraid of our game more than any game so far...

To whoever was playing a 4-skill keeper -- honestly you're never going to get any luch with that. I think the GK is the one position you should just fork out for on the transfer market, because tehre is little place for any below 6 in these leagues to gain experience and not cost you all three points.

(my official team 'only' lost 2-1. I was expecting to get properly thrashed and played a half-hearted team and did alright. I should aim for more, methinks.)

I'd agree with Jay on the keeper thing. Training up a decent keeper will probably lose you a fair few points. That being said, I do have a 7 skill I'm training up and a 4 skill I'm also training up... both however have training cones.

The times are a-changing and the upsets are arriving

aKm65xLpwIM

Haden United 1-1 Battlestar Odwinica

United had a poor first game as Odwinica proved their tactical prowess gaining their first point in the league. United fielded youth talent in all 4 areas of their team and were looking to have paid for it when Odwinica went ahead in the first half, Passoni curled in a free kick that Howarth slotted home after indecision by Uniteds youth goalie. United were contained most of the game, they were playing 4-3-3 but chances were extremely limited as Odwinica pulled back trying to secure a shock upset. However one of United's youth choices Sbaccanti hit home a superb long shot with just 2 minutes to go! Odwinica fans were distraught as they nearly pulled off one of the biggest upsets in a long time. Still Odwinica did great earning a point, for United they need a better balance of youth and talent in the future if they want to stick with the top sides.

Happenstance FC 2-3 Noodle Esporte Clube

The two previous meetings between these clubs results in an away win a piece of each of them in season 10. And yet again in a thrilling encounter an away win was the gained result. Things started off well for Happenstance as Harford scored again curling in one of his vintage free kicks. Batistuta leveled things up as he headed in a cross delivered by Rembrant. Happenstance seemed to have delivered a crucial blow when Alejo weaved past two players and lobbed the goalie to make it 2-1 to Happenstance. Noodles attack led by Batistuta was on fire though and had a superb period of play minutes later. Firstly Vicente tapped the ball home in the penalty area then moments after the restart the captain Robinho intercepted a pass and broke through the Happenstance defense, he beat the goalie one on one and ran to the away supporters who were ecstatic. Noodle held out and earned a huge victory, they seemed a club that was good but maybe not good enough. This result has changed all perceptions.

Roostophe Rovers 3-1 Secret United

Now to two victories from clubs very much in the ascendancy, the first is Rovers triumph over Secret United. This was a clash of the midfields with Rovers playing 3-5-2 and United playing 4-5-1. United won the battle with more possession and chances but Rovers won the war. Uniteds sole striker Crowley had a pretty poor game in fact he scored the opening goal for Rovers heading the ball into his own net by mistake after a corner. Tartara added to this with a vicious shot just in the penalty box after 33 minutes. United began to fade rapidly and badly needed the half to finish, Rovers scored again at 43 minutes as Mazzoleni teed up Nugent with a back heel to curl in a wonderful long range shot, the 5th of his 121 game career. Brusling as per usual played with complete style and scored with a short range shot at the 77 minute mark.. United did deserve a goal but Rovers deserved the win. Rovers look very much the best team in the league so far after a poor season last time around. United need a morale boosting 3 points in the next game.

AFC Rez Rabies 4-2 Essex Elites

So we come to the other team in the ascendancy, after a good opening away draw to Secret United Rabies convincingly beat the team that came 3rd last season, Essex Elites. Both teams were on the hunt for goals with the Elites playing 4-3-3 and Rabies playing 3-4-3. Elites started off very brightly with Hooke lobbing the ball in the box for Marples to head in off the post. Fjallstrom who is looking to make a name for himself in this league, had other ideas about the Elites keeping the lead. He scored twice both with headers, the first one a diving header after a Bapista cross the second a looping effort from a precise Wiberg cross. Rabies areal supremacy carried on in the 2nd half as Wiberg delivered a beautiful ball for Zellman to nod in. Elites hit back in the 68th minute with a headed goal of their own from Canham. However another Wiberg set up allowed Hallerstrom to slot the ball home to rapture from the home fans. Rabies fully deserved this win, while Elites scored twice they only had two chances Rabies had 8 and 59% possession. It was a wonderful performance from a side who are in excellent form.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Happenstance FC 2-3 Noodle Esporte Clube, huge away win for Noodle shows they are ready and willing to stay in the top flight.

Turned on the Style Award: AFC Rez Rabies, this team is simply on fire looked the complete package, 8 chances and 4 goals.

Dysonism F.C 3-3 Jaffa Munchers

The much anticipated debut of Dysonism in league one was completed in this match that was more a duel of the titans than a football contest. Both teams played 4-4-2 and readied themselves for this impressive face off. Molhov hit the first blow with a blistering direct free kick that nearly tore the back of the net apart. Dysonism were in control of the game however and Spirito floated in a perfectly weighted cross for Boland to nod home. Minutes later Twigg stuck outside the Munchers box passed the ball to a waiting Stenholm who struck in the 25th goal of his long career. It was Munchers who looked fresher in the 2nd half and too back the lead in a stunning 4 minute period of play. Refetov who had the best game of his career threaded a ball through to Geller who sent the goalie the wrong way. Molhov later made a dashing run down the wing and crossed the ball in for Refetov to send the ball smashing into the back of the net with a superb header. Munchers fans were celebrating like they had won the league, but Dysonism's Spirito finding himself in space in the box hit a low shot that the goalkeeper couldn't reach and made it 3-3. This was a incredible game that got better and better. Are both these sides going to be playing in the top league next season?

Madpool 2-0 Recall United

Uniteds tough start to the season continued as they faced a 2nd demoted team away. Madpool were in control throughout the match wanting to prove themselves after their opening loss. The first half was a very tight one as United's strategy of trying to suppress Madpool with a 4-5-1 formation seemed to work a trick as only 1 chance was created. Naranjo struck a sweet shot after the restart to give Madpool the lead while the fantastic Hadley floated in a free kick moments later for Trainer to slot home. In the battle of the two start midfielders Madpools Hadley and Uniteds Hollingdale, Hadley easily won. This contest seems pivotal when you observe that Madpools 4 man midfield created 5 more chances than Uniteds 5 man midfield. United are having a tough time of it at the moment and face Dysonism next so things are looking to get harder. Madpool proved their worth today and face Soap Box Utd next in a important match.

Silverdale Hotpot 0-0 Emo Blades

Silverdale and Emo Blades seemed content to host a draw as they participated in a match that should be noted for defensive rather than offensive skill. Both teams played 4-4-2 and created a fair amount of chances, 3 for Silverdale and 4 for the Blades. But the Blades goalie Packham was on terrific form while Zeca was having a customary off day. For Silverdale the defender Drynan was the one stopping the Blades as Hudson like Zeca up front also had a poor game. Both these sides so far have done well done what is expected of them but may need a spark of genius if they want to stay in the spots they reside in currently. Silverdale especially have the chance to prove this tomorrow.

Soap Box Utd 2-2 Tin Can Club

Both of these teams have failed to gain a win so far and really pushed for one in this match. Utd played 3-4-3 and this seemed to make an instant impact when Muiren struck home a shot just outside the box. Tin Can Clubs more balanced midfield started to take control after the goal though and made 3 chances in the 1st half. Two of these were converted, the captain Pall forced home a close range cross. Then another midfield player Viveiros thumped home a shot from the corner of the Utd box. The 2nd half was dramatic as the game opened up both sides going for goals in front of a captivated audience. Murien scored his 2nd as he rose above defenders to head home a Sheedy cross. Both teams were still going after the winner but the game ended in a 2-2 draw. Both these teams are in the relegation zone at the moment but both have shown they can play great football expect to see a win from one of these clubs very soon.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Madpool 2-0 Recall United, as everyone else draws Madpool pick up a sweet 3 points.

Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, not only did they win but they did it with real style, 8 chances to 3 is impressive.

Player of the Day: Daniel van der Murien, Soap Box Utd, his 2 goals gained Soap Box a much needed opening point.

Cubic County 3-1 Ten Plus Win

County got off to a confident start in their bid to be promoted right back to the middle league. Ten Plus Win being a new side were simply outclassed in what was mostly a one sided affair. Maupas who was sublime throughout set up 2 goals in the first half. Firstly he threaded a ball through for Norcott to slide past the goalie. Maupas then hit a 30 yard pass behind the defense that Waller latched onto and took past the goalie. Ten Plus Win star star Koji headed a goal in just before the half ended to make things interesting. However County with 60% possession were to dominant to be broken down again. Maupas for the 3rd time created another another goal again for Waller who headed the cross emphatically into the back of the net. Ten Plus Win cannot blame themselves for this loss and did well to score. County were on fire and are almost dead certainties to be promoted from this league.

Edd Kirby Athletic 0-4 Veni Vidi Vici

In the long history of the report, a shock of this magnitude has been hard to recall. Athletic who many tipped would thrive in this league got beaten by 4 goals deservedly by new team Veni Vidi Vici in one of the most shocking results ever. Athletic were simply horrendous throughout this game , they created the sum total of 0 chances with every single player performing below their capability. In opposition to this Vici were outstanding as their new squad performed incredibly. Athletic played a 3-5-2 formation and Vici seemed at first hesitant and held back from attacking to much. When they seemed to get a handle of Athletic they hit them on the break just before the end of the half, Gower easily put it past the goalie who dived the wrong way. Vici sensing weakness flew out of the blocks in the 2nd half, Gower scored again with a header. Then some awful defending cost Athletic a penalty, this was slotted away by Whetherby. Abrey then set up Whetherby again for a tap in in the 6 yard box. By this time Athletic fans were leaving and the players wish they could. It could have been 8-0 but 4 was enough. Vici now stand as the league leaders in their first season while Athletic must be in minor crisis mode.

Complete Domstercool 2-0 Discount Viagra

Domstercool defied critics by earning a handy win over Viagra. Domstercool controlled the opening half of play and were rewarded when Mansell hit in the 18th goal of his career. Viagra played 4-3-3 but Domstercools defense was on such good form that Viagra had real problems creating good chances compared to half chances. Rodwell made it 2-0 to Domstercool after the break. Sadly for Domstercool Mansell twisted his ankle trying to tackle a Viagra player, he will be out till early February. However it was a good first win for Domstercool proving they still have some fight in them. Viagra got their tactics wrong but will be back hoping to beat Eights United.

Martinists Men 0-0 Mcoys Sons

The Sons frustrating start to the season carries on as they are held to another draw by what they would consider to be a lesser opponent. The Sons dominated the Men with 4 chances to 0 and over 60% of possession. However the Men's goalie McAfferty had the game of his career producing great save after great save. To compound this the Sons two strikers were not on their best form and failed to test the goalie as much as their manager would want. Both teams had injuries 2 for the Men and 1 for the Sons as they pushed to try and get a goal. In the end its a bad result for both teams, the Men will have to start winning at home soon or draw more convincingly while the Sons will curse having let 3 points slip away.

Turned on the Style Award: Veni Vidi Vici, played with utter style making 8 chances and converting 4 playing like a team that had been together for 2 seasons not 2 games.

Player of the Day: Emile Maupas, Cubic County, was a joy to watch setting up 3 beautiful goals.

Won my second away match in row and now on the top of the league as the only one with two wins ^^

It was eventful match, 3-2 to me, one annulled goal and nine yellow cards. I was worried before the match about what keeper I should use. The 8-skill keeper with 7 in form or the 4-skill with 15 in form >_> Glad it worked out.

Anyway, yes, am well chuffed with my start to the campaign, don't really know how I'm going to fit in my youth, though. Goalkeeper might not be a problem, could fit in a Midfielder here and there. But it's the forward and defenders that might be the problem, especially the 17 year-old. :hmm:

Haden: I think the main things with developing youth yourself is making sure they have the special qualities you think your side needs... and that the younger you get them, the more influence over their development you've got.

Take your 16 / 3 defender with heading skill... I'd be pretty happy with him. A possible 17 / 5... if everything turns out rosey maybe 20 / 8 or even a 9. Great special quality for his position. Well worth the effort.

Your 19 / 4 keeper doesn't have the best skill for his age, but he is intelligent, which seems to be a vitally important skill my squad is lacking. I think I'd stick with him.
You might be able to get some econs out of him in seasons to come if he doesn't quite develop as planned, but personally speaking.. I don't keep young keepers unless they've got the training cone.

As for the other two... They've both got good skill for they're ages, but in my (very limited) experience skill alone with no special qualities doesn't cut the mustard. I'd think about making them cash investments, and wait till an awesome youth comes along or someone with suitable qualities becomes available on the transfer market and develop them instead.

Thats what i'm trying to do with my squad at the moment anyway ::shrug:

I hope some of that is actually right. Anyone with better experience wanna chip in..?

Whose gonna throw the very first dirty trick?

Noodle Esporte Clube 4-2 Haden United

Uniteds dire start to the season carried on as Noodle earned a famous victory. Both teams played 4-4-2 but United looked vulnerable at the back at Robinho exposed them with a devastating header from a corner after 20 minutes. Just before the half ended disaster struck United as Harrington the elder of the United defenders was badly injured in a botched tackle, he was replaced by a unfit youth. Despite this United scored straight after the restart with Headon smacking in a Dinsdale lay off. Noodle then scored 2 goals that killed any United momentum, Batistuta floated in a great cross for Robinho to head home again. Then Batistuta himself scored as Zakay set him up with a through ball past a disorganized United defense. United struck back however as Weesle tapped in a corner moments later, the away crowd roared for their team to make a dramatic come back. It was not to be United were just to easy to score against, Zakay buried a corner with a half volley to make it 4-2. The teams were even but Uniteds defense was dire compared to Noodles. The goalie especially did a very poor job, Noodle go 2nd while United the current champions are facing a crisis.

Essex Elites 1-4 Roostophe Rovers

Rovers devastation of all in their domain continued as they gained revenge on the Elites for last seasons defeat and draw. Rovers were simply better in every department producing one of their best ever displays of football. Playing 3-5-2 they made more chances than the Elites who seemed in awe of their opponents. Monington spotted the goalie of his line when spearheading one of the Rovers attacks and lobbed him from just outside the box, incredible. The 2nd half brought more misery, Monington coolly hit another goal home after he dribbled into the box. Tarata broke away and scored the 3rd goal of his short career at Rovers. It was Minington who was the star though, he scored his hat trick with a casually struck goal that hit the post and went in. The Elites gained a consolation goal as Canham hit home a penalty in injury time. It was boys against men though, Rovers are on devastating form and seem to be the sole title contenders for the moment. The Elites after a good start have now endured two defeats and face the 64s in an important match on Friday.

Secret United 4-0 The Sixty Fourthers

United rediscovered their best form as they routed the miserable 64s. Both teams played 4-4-2 but it was United that looked the creative force out of the 2. Making an incredible 7 chances to 0 in the first half the 64s somehow held out. But the onslaught carried on in the 2nd half as chance after chance arrived, Brusling whacked home a goal for United after a corner as the crowd went wild that the breakthrough had been made. Brusling then exhibited devastating form curling in a cross for Kit to head home. Then producing two of the best long range through balls the league has seen to set up breakaways and goals for Crowley and then Kit. Brusling was immense and the 64s looked deflated having nothing to offer. United can now build on this win while the 64s look to be a shadow of their former self now have a -7 goal difference after 2 games.

AFC Rez Rabies 2-2 Happenstance FC

Rabies in an action packed game failed to gain their first victory over Happenstance in 7 attempts. Rabies 4-3-3 was set against Happenstances 4-4-2 line up, it seemed to work at first as Soder who played brilliantly again set up Gladh for the 18th goal of his career. Kono changed the game in 2 minutes as the Happenstance captain firstly teed up Alejo for a tap in to make it 1-1. Then Kono scored his own goal as he placed a shot from Burbages corner. Tragedy struck though as just before the end of the 1st half Kono trying to head a ball over from a corner headed it into the back of his own net. The 2nd half was much quieter than the 1st with only 1 chance each, Rabies picked up two injuries prolific star Wiberg and youth defender Carmont the manager will be relieved both injuries seemed to be short term. The game ended with a whimper and Rabies will be glad it was Happenstance who looked like they could have gone on to win it.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Noodle Esporte Clube 4-2 Haden United, Noodle make it 2 wins out of 3 and look to be securing their top half position as Uniteds season goes from bad to worse.

Turned on the Style Award: Secret United, it was nearly Rovers but United edge them out because 12 chances and 4 goals without reply is just detestation personified.

Player of the Day: Noa Brusling, again Monington challenged for this but Brusling was just ridiculously good in his game. Took part in all 4 goals in a near perfect performance.

Recall United 0-1 Dysonism F.C

Dysonism notched up their first win in the middle league as they poured misery on Recalls bad start to the season. United played a 5-3-2 formation but this simply gave Dysonism the opportunity to run the game as they had 63% possession. The 1st half was uneventful bad 3 yellow cards and 2 unfortunate injuries to two Dysonism players that will displease the manager. Dysonism struck straight away after the restart with Sandford crossing in a ball for the substitute Garcia to head in. United did begin to make chances to try and hit back but their strike force had an especially disappointing game leaving Hollingdales efforts amounting to nothing. United badly need a win as Dysonism will now look to enter the promotion places with more victories.

Tin Can Club 2-1 Silverdale Hotpot

Silverdale suffered their first loss of the season as Tin Can Club marched on to a promotion place with a well earned victory. Playing 4-3-3 they pursued a offensive style of play. Gottskalk headed in a goal after a mere 13 minutes to put Tin Can Club ahead. Silverdale while looking solid in all areas lacked a spark to test Tin Can Club. The game was tight but Gottskalk headed in another goal at 70 minutes to round off a sterling performance in his 1st game of the season. Andervi who had been beavering away in midfield for Silverdale swung in a corner that youth midfielder Jerome hit home to score his first ever goal for the club after 23 games. Silverdale however lacked the inspiration needed to gain a 2nd. Tin Can Club earned a deserved win but Silverdale will be ready to prove themselves in the rematch later in the season.

Emo Blades 1-0 DuDs Baggies

Blades battled for a victory in a brutal match against the Baggies. Baggies desperate for a win seemed to go after the Blades and youth Canmore and striker Zeca were injured in the fallout. Baggies for all their aggression lacked any creative force and made 0 chances the whole game. Zecas substitution youth Arreola scored his first goal since Season 10 with a coolly placed header. The game carried on as Blades shut down any Baggies attacks and seemed content to hang back with the win in the bag. Another Emo player, youth defender Bruce was injured right at the death of the game. Blades however are still undefeated and now top the table, Baggies are stuck at the bottom with 2 losses from 2 games.

Soap Box Utd 3-1 Madpool

Utd gained a huge victory against demoted Madpool to lift them out of the relegation zone and kick start their season. The two teams played very different formations, Utd played 3-4-3 against Madpools 4-5-1. This seemed to work against Madpool as Utds light defense was let off from any severe testing. Utd took the lead via a breakaway when Hoogeveen hit it past the goalie on 12 minutes. Two minutes later star midfielder Hadley was stretchered off the pitch after an awkward fall much to Madpools dismay, he will be out for over a week at least. The game took a violent turn after this with each side gaining a penalty each as the tackles flew in. Quintal for Madpool and Rainford for Utd hit their penalties in. Utd striker Muiren made it 3 goals in 3 games as Madpool failed to keep up with the Utd attack conceding from another breakaway. Young midfielder Snildal stupidly shortly after this goal decided to get in the face of a Madpool player provoking a minor fight that had him sent off. The game was a fractious one but Utd will be pleased with the 3 points no matter the fallout.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Recall United 0-1 Dysonism F.C, Dysonism get their first win and United fail again to get 3 points and badly need a win soon.

Turned on the Style Award: Soap Box Utd, was a messy game but Utds style shone through with 3 goals.

Player of the Day: Thordur Gottskalk, Tin Can Club, two headed goals got his team the win in his best ever performance for his club.

Hey!
Watch Eights United go!

Veni Vedi Vici 1-1 Cubic County

Vedi carried on their unbeaten run with a impressive draw against veteran side Cubic County. Things started off slowly until County were struck with a piece of bad fortune, their striker Norcott was taken out in a rough tackle that had him replaced by Ashby. Norcott looks to be out until mid February. It was left to Countys midfield to provide a goal as Woozley teed up Vihko for a cracker of a long shot. County were playing youth goalie Greening who had a good game apart from a bad error where he missed a cross allowing Abrey to head the ball into an empty net to make it 1-1. In the 2nd half Vici pushed for a winning goal but for the moment Gower lacks a partner striker of his talents and it ended 1-1. County played better but Vici were toe to toe with them for large parts of the game. Both teams remain unbeaten and forces to be reckoned with.

Mcoys Sons 3-0 Complete Domstercool

There was a collective sigh of relief from the Sons fans as they won their first competitive fixture after 6 games without a win. The Sons were simply supreme producing one of the best performances in their clubs history. It is only thanks to Domstercools good defense that it wasn't a worse scoreline for them. Playing 3-5-2 the Sons midfield was rampant, Jbil the captain set Heckingbottom up for the first goal a close range shot. After the restart more and more pressure occurred (in the end the Sons had 9 chances) two more goals came within a minute of each other. Rossall curled in a long range shot then moments later Jibil nodded in a Moses cross. Domstrcools awful striker problems got worse as Rodwell sustained a bad injury and had to be replaced with a midfielder. The Sons move into the promotion zone while Domstercool look to have taken a big step backwards.

Discount Viagra 2-3 Eights United

Viagra and Eights United participated in a bad tempered yet thrilling match that confirmed the ascendancy of United. Viagra played 4-3-3 against Uniteds 3-5-2 these two very different formations competed in this vital match. There were 3 yellow cards and an injury before the first goal as the match started to turn into an unfriendly affair. It was Viagra who struck first as Hackworth scored his 3rd goal for the club when he shot past a static 3 man United defense. The half ended with another yellow cards, after the restart United scored two in quick succession. Flatland hit in a quickfire reaction shot in the box, then Horrem crossed a ball in for Bjornas to head in to the bottom right hand corner. The midfield battle was now brutal and 3 more yellow cards flew out of the refs pocket. United were controlling the chances with double the amount than Viagra the 2 men advantage in midfield was telling. However it was Viagra who scored next, Jordan floated a corner in that Arber headed in off the post. It was no that Uniteds 5 man midfield advanced and Viagra had 7 players charging forward attacking them. Eventually the dam broke Horrem found space to deliver another cross that Smerud headed in. Uniteds midfield withdrew and stopped any more Viagra chances. A great game that United deserved to win they are now 2 away games played 2 away games won.

Martinists Men 2-2 Edd Kirby Athletic

The Men frustrated another team with a battling draw, this time Athletic who were looking to bounce back after the humiliation of their last game. The Men shocked Athletic by scoring after 2 minutes, Jardin knocked in a inswining corner for his first ever goal for the club. Kirby Jr who is on form this season set up McKenna for a close range shot that he was never going to miss. The Men however in the 2nd half were controlling play with more and more pressure going forward as Athletic failed to create many chances in response. They did create one though, Hill who was magnificent swung in a freekick for McKenna to volley home. At this point Athletic thought they could close the win out. But their defense fell asleep as Bowman dodged past two defenders and beat the usually supreme Bain 1 on 1. Men don't look like title winners but are gaining draws here and there against tough teams. As for Athletic they will want a real fresh break from these last two games when they face Domstercool.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Discount Viagra 2-3 Eights United, Eights United are on fire at the moment another away win confirms their status as the ascendant team in this league.

Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, 3 goals and 9 chances, they needed a big win after such a bad competitive streak and they got it in style.

Player of the Day: Ivar Horrem, Eights United, played well above his skill level creating two chances and being part of Uniteds all star midfield.

Mcoy converted more chances however your pressure helped boost your midfield and reduce the effectiveness of Mcoys. If Mcoy had not guessed your playmaker you may have converted a lot more chances and had a goal or two so it was a lucky guess from Mcoy's side.

Mcoy's defense also had a very good game which may have also helped, Mcoy got a freekick into the goal so it wasn't a very big win/loss for either side. Mcoy was seriously worried about this game as he thought your formation would have been a lot different and made alot of counters risky or useless.

Come on, don't you think Roostophe is a better name?
For one: I didn't come up with it; it was a nickname from school.
For two: People called 'Villan' are ten a penny, whether they are Aston Villa fans or just can't spell 'villain'. :indeed:

You dudes just need to get used to it. Especially as it's my X11 username, I thought some of you here would be more used to saying it than other members - the ones who don't play X11 and are therefore not as awesome as you. ;)

I thought that earlier game was harsh.. I've just checked my Master League match and i got a goal disallowed for a doubtful offside, 3 players booked and another one sent off (on normal aggression). Ended up losing 2-1.

I didn't even need the ref against me, the opposition had 7 players in the Xpert11 they are that good.

Today's Xpert has just been one big fat fuck in the arse.

My xpert team lost 4-3 in a ridiculous match. My keeper, who normally plays with 9+ skill, played a 6 and let in a long shot and two direct free-kicks. Nonsense. Annoying, and genuinely slightly angering.

Haden United 3-1 AFC Rez Rabies

Haden United gained their first win in an impressive win against an in form Rabies. United stuck to a 4-4-2 formation against Rabies playing 3-4-3 obviously hoping Uniteds bad form of recent games would continue. Headon shot in his 49th goal for the club after 21 minutes sending the Rabies goalie the wrong way. Uniteds midfield was very impressive making 6 chances against 1 for Rabies. In the second half the pattern carried on and Weesle headed in a great Dinsdale cross. Youth and surely future star Vunderpond headed in his first ever goal for Rabies to give them some hope. However United were rampant, again they made 6 chances to Rabies 1. Mozzini finished the game off with a sweetly struck close range goal. Just before the end of the game Wiberg limped off after an awkward fall but should be back soon. This was a vital win for United after a poor start to the season they will try and build on this. For Rabies it was a disappointment but hardly a disaster.

Noodle Esporte Clube 1-0 Battlestar Odwinica

Odwinica tragically lost out on their 2nd away point of the season as Noodle won this game in injury time. The 1st half was very nervy as both teams failed to make any chances as they seemed to know how crucial this game was. The game opened up in the 2nd half but the only thing that was being accumulated was yellow cards not goals. It seemed the game was going to be a 0-0 draw as Odwinicas defense was on superb form. Robinho however dinked past an Odwinica defender and sped down the wing before floating the ball into the box. Rembrant rose above all the Odwinica defenders in the box and headed the ball home with conviction. The crowd went wild Noodle had stolen the game at the death. Noodle are on a huge roll and are 1 point off the top of the league having won their last 3 matches. Odwinica sadly look like they are certain relegation material but are also a tricky side to beat their game against Rabies will be very interesting.

The Sixty Fourthers 4-3 Essex Elites

The 64s notched up a crucial win after two crushing defeats while the Elites have now suffered 3 straight losses. The 64s playe 4-5-1 while the Elites went for 3-4-3, this formation seemed to be a horrific choice for the Elites as the 64s were 2 goals up in 8 minutes. Baralla headed in a sweetly worked opening cross to make it 1-0 and then moments later Hagolahi scored his first ever goal with a curling free kick. Rikabi who had assisted the Baralla goal, assisted again when he laid the ball off to Goblecoqe who made no mistake in scoring at close range in the box..This felt like the old 64s who were seen as one of the strongest teams in the league. However the Elites came back to life in the 2nd half, Gledhill fed a ball to Corben who vollied in his cross, Corben struck again when Ling fed a through ball to him to make it 3-2. The Elites seemed more threatening with their 3 strikers seeming to link up properly at last. However in a moment of genius against the run of play Gobady hit a ferocious shot in from outside the box that banged in off the post. The match was still not over though, Ling crossed in a high ball that Gledhill nodded home. Despite further efforts the 64s held out for a dramatic first win of the season. For the 64s like Haden United this victory was vital, for the Elites noone would have expected them to win this on paper but having nearly drawn the game in their current situation it might feel like a bigger loss than it is.

Happenstance FC 1-1 Roostophe Rovers

Happenstance took the first points off Rovers in a tight match. Happenstance played 4-4-2 against a 3-5-2 formation that Rovers put forward. Happenstance shocked the jubilant Rovers supporters when Harford punted in one of his famous free kick goals. Rovers seemed very dangerous and stronger than Happenstance in attack. Monington was menacing throughout although Happenstance contained him quite well. However he did feed through a ball to Tartara who chipped the ball past the goalie for his 3rd goal in 3 games. Neither side was up to their best and seemed to cancel each other out as the game faded to a draw. The point is a good one for Happenstance who have had a mixed opening set of games that sees them happily in 3rd. Rovers won't lose to much sleep over this result they still sit atop of the league with only Noodle challenging their lead.

Analysis

Most Important Result: The Sixty Fourthers 4-3 Essex Elites, the 64s had to win this one and just about did it!

Turned on the Style Award: Haden United, 12 chances to 2 and 3 goals, Haden United needed to be back on top form and won in style.

Player of the Day: Latif Al-Rikabi, The Sixty Fourhters, created two chances and was part of an awesome 64s midfield that got their manager their first win after a horrid opening 2 games.

Dysonism F.C 1-1 Soap Box Utd

Dysonism vs Soap Box was always going to be an interesting match. Dysonism before the match had an incredible record against Soap Box, 7 wins 1 draw and only 1 loss. Soap Box scored a measure of revenge by holding Dysonism to a draw at Dysonism's ground. Both teams started the match in a rough fashion and had a player badly injured each. Soap Box was playing 4-3-3 which gave them attacking power but limited their midfield. Dysonism had over 60% possession the entire game and used it well as they scored just before the half was up. The two star midfielders combined , as Sandford crossed the ball in for Stenholm to head home. Soap Box were not done though, their 4-3-3 formation paid dividends as Rainford found some space in the box and shot home his 2nd goal of the season for Utd. Dysonism looked the slicker side pushing forward with more chances and possession. But Alfen marshaled a resilient Utd defense that held out against the Dysonism attacks. This was a great point for Soap Box who are holding their own in a tough league, Dysonism are still undefeated but need another win soon.

Recall United 1-2 Jaffa Munchers

Two teams that were promoted last season and are now having wildly differing fortunes are Munchers and Recall United. United badly needed a win but failed to match Munchers were it mattered, both teams played 4-4-2 but United struggled to keep up with Munchers midfield. Refetov complimented Haky and Molhov and set up the first goal for Geller a close range shot. Only Hollingdale and Wallgren did really well for United in midfield but to add to their misery Hollingdale was hauled off after a mistimed tackle, the injury looked quite serious. Moments after this Haky headed the Munchers 2-0 ahead. United tried to form an attack and Elias a United defender found it hard to keep up with Uniteds attacks and earned himself two yellow cards. For his 2nd he gave away a free kick that the promising Whiteside blasted in. This was however Uniteds only chance of the match. Munchers were simply the better side and while it was unlucky that Hollingdale was lost United can't have a huge amount of complaints. Munchers soar to the top of the league while United are now buried at the bottom a striking contrast between the two promoted sides.

DuDs Baggies 1-1 Tin Can Club

The Baggies earned their 1st point of the season against a Tin Can Club side that has made a habit of drawing (3 draws out of 4 games). Playing a wild 4-2-4 formation the Baggies set out to hit Tin Can Club who were playing 4-3-3 with everything they had. This seemed to be working perfectly as two of the Baggies strikers combined Campa set the ball up for Shelton to head in to put the Baggies ahead. The match was quite quiet after this with few chances for either team, however Baggies were left sleeping with Saaf threaded a ball through for Piearce who beat the offside trap then beat the goalie to make it 1-1. Tin Can Club had striker Carleholm sent off just before the end for a 2nd yellow card but managed to secure the draw without him. The Baggies will be badly disappointed by this result, they really needed a win and dominated large parts of this match. Tin Can Club will be very happy with this point and are still unbeaten in the league.

Madpool 2-1 Silverdale Hotpot

Madpool beat Silverdale in a close contest which they will be glad to have won. Madpool will almost be relieved as in the end they had 9 chances to Silverdale's 3, Madpool played 3-5-2 and obviously had more creative power, while Silverdale opted for 5-3-2 going for defense over creative play. Madpools approach paid off first as Naranjo headed the side ahead after only 3 minutes. Silverdale had to work very hard to get past Madpool's midfield which was 2 men larger, however just before the half ended Malhotra found himself with the ball outside the box. He turned his man and blasted a goal into the top right hand corner for his first ever Silverdale goal. Not to be outdone Naranjo curled in a beauty when he found himself in space to make it 2-1 to Madpool. After this Madpool controlled most of the chance making opportunities and in the end won the game easily. Madpool need to start taking their good home winning form away while Silverdale need another win to rejuvenate their season.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Recall United 1-2 Jaffa Munchers, Munchers go top with a great away win while United fall to bottom.

Turned on the Style Award: Madpool, created nearly 10 chances and controlled the match.

Player of the Day: Guy Refetov, Jaffa Munchers, Naranjo did well for Madpool but Refetov really caught the eye in the Munchers match imposing himself to compliment other midfielders helped give Munchers the depth of midfield to beat Recall United as well as providing a great assist.

Eights United win streak rest in peace

Cubic County 4-0 Martinists Men

County cruised to an easy win against what looks more and more to be an abandoned Mens team. Playing 4-4-2 County were good all across the field, they scored quickly as Waller crossed the ball in for Ashby to head home after 6 minutes. After the half resumed County stepped up and dominated their hapless opponents, Maupas sought out Ashby from a set piece who buried his cross to make it 2-0. Waller clinically finished a long shot that was back heeled towards him 11 minutes later. Finally Waller bursting down the wing crossed the ball in for Woozley to dive in and head in off the bar. The Men were outdone in every way except they “won” the battle of the red cards, their midfielder Johnson frustrated earned himself a 2nd yellow for a very late sliding tackle. Men are buried at the bottom of the table while County are now in the promotion zone with the best goal difference in the league.

Veni Vidi Vici 2-1 Ten Plus Win

Ten plus Win are still waiting for their first points and were agonizingly close today. After a frustrating first half for both teams Win took the lead early in the 2nd half, Naito threaded the ball through to Terada who slotted the ball home calmly for his first goal for his new club. Vici hit back soon after as Abrey went down the wing and pulled the ball back to a running Gower who blasted the ball from long range into the bottom left hand corner for a glorious goal. Both teams were coming at each other back and forth and it looked to be heading towards a draw as both defenses held out. With 5 minutes to go, Abrey knocked in a corner and who else but Gower rose above the rest and nodded the ball home. Heartbreak for Win who are still without a point, Vici probably deserved to win but the difference between these two new teams is incredible. Vici unbeaten at the top of the league Win without a point stuck right at the bottom.

Eights United 0-1 Mcoys Sons

After two very impressive away wins surely United had this one in the bag. Well no actually Sons gathered their team together for a great display against United. This might not be a huge surprise, before the season started Sons destroyed United 4-0 in a friendly at Uniteds ground. Today was not a slaughter to that extent but Sons did look in charge. They had all the chances in the 1st half, Jbil scored the only goal when he hit in a beautiful direct free kick that curled in for the Sons. Jevons looked like he might make it 2 when he stretched to head a cross in but missed and slammed into the post, he was taken off unconscious his manager looked very worried. United had more control and the chances in the 2nd half, however the Sons defense Curtis especially were on fine form and United had no real clear chances to score. Sons have now stepped up and are looking to be a clear promotion contender, United were outplayed today but are still up there near the top and need to beat Athletic today to get back to the top.

Edd Kirby Athletic 0-0 Complete Domstercool

Athletic's stop start season carries on as they endured a frustrating draw against a resilient Domstercool. The game started off as a very scrappy one with one yellow card and three injuries in the 1st half and only 1 chance. Luckily there were no more injuries and 3 chances for each side in the 2nd half. Athletic were playing 4-3-3 but could not break through the superb Domstercool defense, playing 4-5-1 Domstercool had fractionally more possession than Athletic to. However with their one striker they stood no chance of scoring against a wonderful Athletic defense and supreme goalie in Bain. On a side note Domstercools forward Mansell gained a yellow card and will be suspended next game while Domstercools only other striker is still recovering from injury. Both these teams are floating in the mid table and need to pick up the pace if they don't want to lose track of the top 4.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Eights United 0-1 Mcoys Sons, this win shows the return of a promotion chasing consistent Sons and stops United invincible charge.

Turned on the Style Award: Cubic County, were incredible and now have the best GD in the league thanks to this win.

Player of the Day: Quincy Abrey, Mcoys Sons, played well above his skill level to provide two assists and get Sons the win.

Won 2-1 against Edd Kirby Athletic. The win was expected, but I was hoping for a higher difference, but Kirby's keeper played two bars above his skill so I guess that made the score closer. I had three players with three bars over their skill level.

Manager of the round and I got a player with 20 in current form and 18 in average. Too bad he is a bit on the old side.

My next match is a very important one, away match against Cubic County. Mcoy is probably guaranteed promotion, which leaves the remaining spots for me, Cubic County and VVV. To have a chance at promotion I must beat CC or VVV and/or have them screw badly against lower players. So far neither. If I win my next match I will be back at the nr 1 spot, if not I probably drop back to 4th as VVV will most likely crush Martinist Men. I thought he was going to give it another try?

Battlestar Odwinica 0-0 AFC Rez Rabies

Both these promoted teams were unable to find a killer blow in a uneventful encounter that will leave both managers unhappy. Both teams played 4-4-2 but really struggled to create many chances, their midfield left little to be desired and dipped below the level played in the mid league. Odwinicas attack which has scored 1 goal in 4 games again failed to impress and is an area that is crying out for a skilled veteran to be brought in. While Rabies attack was better and has been one of Rabies strengths for at least a season and a half, also did not perform incredibly. However both teams defense especially Odwinicas produced a fine organized display and did not falter once. Rabies now have 3 draws from 5 games and Odwinica 2 from 4, while they have shown fine resilience both these teams need to start getting some wins if they want to stay in the league.

Roostophe Rovers 3-4 Haden United

In the match of the season United recaptured their form of last season to win a battle of titanic proportions against the team to beat Roostophe Rovers. Rovers played their usual 3-5-2 while United opted for a 4-4-2 formation. Rovers had most of the chances in the 1st half as their midfield shone, but United scored first with Marconossi losing his marker and blasting the opening goal into the corner. Rovers responded immediately as Tartara curled in a long range effort. Not to be outdone Agostini hit in the 41st goal of his long career with a blistering effort outside the box. Rovers knew a defeat was not what they wanted as they sought to avenge past losses from a team their manager is beginning to loathe facing. Bond found himself with the ball outside the box and clipped in a long shot to make it 2-2. The match now was on a knife edge both teams went back on forth and it seemed to be Rovers who had the edge. Especially when United midfielder Mozzini was taken off with a ankle injury. This injury seemed to inspire United, firstly Weesle headed in a Hindrikson cross and then 2 minutes later on the 86 minute mark, Eveleens scored the 10th goal of his career with a close range shot. United led by 2 goals with 4 minutes to go and Rovers were stunned. Hapgood the Rovers captain was hauled off moments later as he fought for the ball and fell badly, Rovers scored deep into injury time with a penalty. But as soon as the game was restarted the final whistle blew. This was an incredible game to witness both teams defense was poor but in the end Uniteds attack was better than Rovers who had 5 more chances. If Rovers would have won or even drawn this match they would be carrying huge amounts of momentum to be champions even at this stage of the season. As it stands they are still favorites but are also human.

Essex Elites 3-0 Secret United

After an opening win the Elites have had a torried 3 game loss streak, however this ended today as their fans saw glimpses of why the Elites came 3rd last season. The Elites played 3-4-3 against Uniteds 4-4-2 and both sides seemed to have no answers to begin with as the 1st half ended with entertaining chances but no goals. Elites however turned on the style in the 2nd half, despite facing some of the best mid fielders in the league, the Elites midfield were equal if not better than Uniteds. Ling had the game of his life, he turned two United defenders before setting up Marples for a long range punt that went in. Ling again held off defenders and made another gap this time for Gledhill to hammer one home. Marples scored another this time from close range 2 minute later to seal the game. Every player on the Elites side, Carpernter and Ling especially, played their socks off to get this win. While Uniteds players did well their two strikers had a very poor game not taking advantage of the 3 defender formation they faced at all. The Elites are now placed 5th and have a game off before a crucial match at home against Happenstance. United are also against Happenstance but away, both those games are very important for all 3 clubs.

The Sixty Fourthers 2-1 Happenstance FC

Happenstance suffered a collapse of discipline as they sunk to a loss against the 64s. The match started off well for Happenstance as Phingphaew, who after being last seasons top scored with 12 goals has had a quiet season so far, headed in the opening goal a cross from Kono. However counting a yellow card before this goal up until the 61st minute Happenstance's players earned 6 yellow cards. A quite shocking amount caused by either messy tackling or a bias referee depending on who you talk to. The 64s were playing 4-5-1 and it looked like it may have backfired until Yaketi headed in a cross on the 67th minute. Players were at this point being injured left and center but through the chaos Goblecoqe nodded in a 2nd headed goal as Happenstance failed to defend a corner. The 64s after two horrendous away losses have gained two good home wins (although they still have the worst GD in the league), Happenstance need to start to pick points up again and have two vital games against Secret United and the Elites coming up.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Roostophe Rovers 3-4 Haden United, Rovers unbeaten run is over how significant this is we will find out in coming games.

Turned on the Style Award: Haden United, Uniteds firepower today was incredible and won them the game.

Player of the Day: Danny Ling, Essex Elites, not only did he set up two goals but the overlooked Ling played just as well as two of the best midfielders in the league.

Dysonism is on fire.

Gy0ijx5MYjs

Jaffa Munchers 1-2 Soap Box Utd

Soap Box Utd scored the best win of their season with a great away win against fellow promoted side Jaffa Munchers. Both promoted teams have had a great start to the season but the Munchers have something to prove having lost twice to Utd last season. Soap Box went straight ahead as Alfen blasted in a free kick at an acute angle after 6 minutes. Munchers looked dangerous going forward playing 3-4-3 and this play earned them a penalty on 21 minutes, McAnuff took it and coolly converted it to make it 1-1. As the game carried on it began to get tense, 5 yellow cards were distributed, 3 for Utd and 2 for Munchers. More concerning the Munchers best striker Poschner was taken out in a mistimed tackle that saw him substituted, this took away some of the fire from the Munchers attack. Utd sprung on this and as the Munchers midfield began to lose the fight, Utd hit them on the break. The 37 year old Fessem lobbed the advancing Munchers defense and Bose attached himself to the pass and beat the goalie 1 on 1. This was a case of Utd getting their tactics better than Munchers along with an unfortunate injury for the Munchers. The Munchers still are doing well this is only their first loss and they are primed to get back in the promotion race. Utd are now in the top 3 after an opening loss and doing really well.

Silverdale Hotpot 0-3 Dysonism F.C

Dysonism convincingly beat Silverdale in a one sided contest. The game started off with both teams earning yellow cards, 3 for Dysonism and one for Silverdale, before Spirito fled down the wing and curled in a cross that Brobeck headed home. After the break Dysonisms 3-4-3 formation seemed to be honed to perfection, Bakboord headed in a goal early in the 2nd half. Then Spirito nutmegged a defender before flicking the ball up for Bakboord who volleyed in a beautiful goal. In the end Dysonism eased to a victory, this is their 2nd away victory compared to 2 home draws, if they can get their home form up to scratch promotion will be all so easy. As for Silverdale things are looking rather grim, if they could beat Munchers away in their next game maybe they could get their season back on track.

Tin Can Club 2-1 Emo Blades

Tin Can Club shot to the top of the league with a close victory over the Blades. The Blades hadn't conceded a goal before this game but Tin Can Club put one past them after 28 minutes, Gottskalk scored via a diving header. Blades looked determined to keep their unbeaten streak alive and in the 2nd half Piechnik lobbed the Tin Can Club goalie who he saw off his line. Tin Can Club really wanted to win this game after already having 3 draws this season, Piearce the young forward scored his 2nd goal in 3 games, with a shot from a corner, to give Tin Can Club the victory. Tin Can Club are looking good to be promoted straight back up to the league and will be relieved to get a win. Emo Blades are still hovering just outside the promotion zone ready to fight for a place in the top 3.

DuDs Baggies 3-0 Madpool

Madpool's torrid away form carried on as the Baggies earned their first win of the season with a rout of Madpool. Madpool played quite negatively with 5-4-1 against a 4-3-3 Baggies side, even with this defense Campa slipped behind it and slotted it past the goalie. After the break the Madpool goalie Broom was injured badly after colliding with a Baggies player. Incredibly Madpool had 1 player on their bench, Trainer a youth midfielder who now had to be a goalie! He won't be changing position any time soon. He was a joke in goal and the Baggies players Shelton and Elliot shot goals past him like they were at the park. It may have been a lot more if their would have been more chances. The Baggies are still in trouble but this win was crucial, Madpool are doing the worst out of the 3 relegated sides and need to up their game and have a full bench next time around!

Ten Plus Win 6-0 Martinits Men

Ten Plus Win gained their first victory by demolishing the Men. The Men who are now surely an abandoned team that will be a walkover for every other team in the league. Ten plus win played 4-3-3 and went after the Men from the get go, Hamamoto scored twice in 33 minutes. Firstly with a header then a close range shot, after the break Naito broke away from the awful Men defense to make it 3. From here the goals kept pouring in, Hamamoto set up Nagawa for a easy tap in before scoring his hat-trick with a header 4 minutes later. The Men's captain was given a straight red for fighting with a Win player as frustrations boiled over. Hamamoto shot in yet another goal 3 minutes later to cap off a incredible performance for him. So there we go 6-0 it is really good for Win to get their first victory, and while no-one thinks they are promotion material yet they will hopefully start taking some real scalps in their first hard season.

Complete Domstercool 1-3 Cubic County

County carried on what looks like their inevitable ascent back into the middle league with a convincing win over a troubled Domstercool. Despite impressive defensive displays of late by Domstercool, County were 2-0 up after 7 minutes. Dunwell headed his first ever goal for the club after 3 mins and then set up Maupas who broke away from the Domstercool defense and made it 2-0. Domstercool have been playing quite well recently and scored after the restart, even with both their strikers out of action Miles stepped in as a lone striker and scored via a break away. However while he was suited to the role being an attacking midfielder, when he got badly injured and replaced by a defender Domstercool lost any attacking potency. Near the end of the match youth Domstercool defender Crook earned himself a yellow card then capped off a miserable afternoon by scoring an own goal 3 minutes later. County didn't play incredibly but had a few youths on so its understandable, they look certain at this stage to be promoted. Domstercool have lots of problems but seem to be able to get the odd result here and there.

Mcoys Sons 5-1 Discount Viagra

After a rough start to the season the Sons seem to now be in overdrive mode as they dominated Viagra. The Sons played 3-5-2 in this match against Viagras 3-4-3, the match started off quite evenly. Gee hit the Sons ahead before Beans headed in an equalizer for Viagra. Rufus then showed things to come as his cracking long shot put the Sons 2-1 up. After the break the Sons strategy worked perfectly, their midfield emphasis landed them with 12 chances to Viagras 1. Rufus scored again with a header while a minute later Gee who was the best part of this supreme midfield scored via a breakaway. Just before the end Rufus earned his hat-trick as he dodged past two Viagra defenders and smacked the ball into the top right hand corner to roars from the home crowd. Rufus who is only 19 had never scored a goal before todays match what a time to come alive! The Sons with County look like favorites to be promoted, Viagra after nearly being promoted last season is having a really tough time of it but they need to keep their head down and try and grind out some results.

Eights United 2-1 Edd Kirby Athletic

Eights United secured an important win against Athletic after their loss to Mcoys Sons. It was important United bounce back and they did with a close win, playing 3-4-3 it was clear they wanted a win. United scored twice early on, Smerud curled home a lovely long range effort to beat the usually vigilant Bain. 14 minutes later Smerud crossed the ball into the box diagonally for Brodal to nod down to make it 2-0. Hill (who is accountable for half of Athletics goals this season) got them back in it with a nice half volley from a corner 3 minutes later. After this Athletic struggled in the end United made 7 chances to Athletics 2. The only other bad news for United was Flatland their best striker was injured near the end of the game and will be out till the middle of the month. Eights United have to be contenders now, back in the promotion zone and 3 wins out of 4 games is impressive. The season is still young and Athletic are far from done, they have County and the Sons to play and they need to bring their A game for those crucial matches.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Eights United 2-1 Edd Kirby Athletic, United get right back on track after their 100% record is destroyed, Athletic really need to get some points week in week out.

Turned on the Style Award: Mcoys Sons, 12 chances and 5 goals and incredible ratings, hard to see this side not being promoted.

Player of the Day: Doryu Hamamoto, Ten Plus Win, 4 goals and an assist. Wonderful!

I finally won! Mortimer has scored his first, second, and third goal for the club, yet still only played to his skill level, how disappointing. I sense a difficult period coming up though with Mcoy to play next, followed by a game against Cubic, then those two again!

Was surprised yet delighted to look up at the top league to see Noodle leading the way, I remember when I first joined they went up with me from the bottom division, what an amazing achievement! Also undecided what I want the Elites to do, I want them to stay up for Ell to be happy, but then I'd love to snatch promotion, them get relegated, and have a good, old fashioned Essex Derby next season !

I knew i could get the tactics though, so again didn't risk playing any youths hoping that i'd pick up points.

I might just fuck this season off and start playing my youths to get their experience.
It seems tactics count for nothing against skill levels and form, and no matter how much i spend on training at the moment, the form just keeps dropping as soon as it raises slightly at all.

Was never too sure on a win, against Cube, but I expected a closer score. Did guess his formation right but screwed up on the playmaker so I guess the rest of his midfield go too much playtime.

Back to 4th spot, and even if I win the next one I don't think I will move up as the top 3 have more or less walkovers. My next match is also going to be way more difficult than it should have been, with two of my best and oldest strikers out on injury and red card, screwing up my age average big time. They should both be back for the match against VVV, which might be my most important match of the season. If I can't beat him, my chances for relegation are slim to none.

Got raped! 3-1 defeat with 60+% possession. I didn't have many chances. I think playing with long balls was my mistake. Most of my team played to their skill rating, and my defender who got injured was replaced by someone who performed above theirs - I just didn't make enough chances, and didn't capitalise on the ones i did make.

3-1 is a bit steep though! Goals from all over the pitch. Don't know what was up with my keeper. Sitting above teh relegation zone again!

United we March

_dLzgPa28Ds

Haden United 5-2 The Sixty Fourthers

Haden United kept up their good run of results of late with a thumping victory over the 64s. The 64s who last season beat United away from home had no such luck this time. Things started off well though as a nervy United gave a penalty away, Rikabi made no mistakes and put the 64s ahead. After the break however United seemed to have something to prove, Dinsdale slammed in a long range shot after making himself some space a minute after the restart to make it 1-1. Then between 50-61 minutes United scored 3 times. Twice Dinsdale sought out Weesle via a cross who headed the ball home, the other goal was a great header from Durov. Osman the 64s sole striker was sent off for pushing a United player in frustration. However even with no strikers the 64s scored via a Baralla shot. However it was Uniteds and Dinsdales day (was his 175th game for the club), Dinsdale flicked the ball to Durov who volleyed home a short range goal to make it 5-2. United stay in 3rd and have moved away from the pack with a great 3 win streak against some tough opponents. The 64s awful away form carries on, they have now conceded 14 away goals in 3 games.

Battlestar Odwinica 0-0 Roostophe Rovers

Odwinica after drawing with Haden United have caused another shock holding Rovers to a 0-0 draw. Odwinica played 4-4-2 against Rovers 3-5-2 formation, Rovers with this formation and their superior players gained more possession and chances. But only just, they had 53% possession and 3 chances to 1 for Odwinica. Rovers strikers Mazzoleni included this game were not up to the task and underperformed. While Odwinicas defense and goalie all played above their ability. The draw rounds off a very bad week for Rovers after such a great start. Regardless they would still be most peoples favorites to win the title but their next game, home to Noodle is must win. Odwinica still looks like a team that will go down, only 1 goal from 5 games is not healthy, but they are shocking people along the way with a team that is less than 3 seasons old.

AFC Rez Rabies 0-1 Noodle Esporte Clube

Noodle gained a great away win against fellow promotees Rabies to go top in the league! The game started off quietly with only 3 chances shared between the teams, crucially though Rabies best midfielder Zellman was injured after only 5 minutes. Rabies midfield without Zellman was underpowered compared to Noodles line up, after the break they created no more chances while Noodle made 3. Rabies star striker Wiberg was injured in the 2nd half and things started to tilt even more towards Noodle. Rabies seemed to be just about holding out and the final whistle was about to be blown Noodle launched one last attack. Batistuta burst down the wing and swung the ball in for Robinho to attach to and head in. The away fans who had heard on the radio that Roostophe Rovers had been held to a draw went ecstatic as they realized they were now top of the league. Noodle a club that is in their 4th season is now at the pinnacle of xpert. While this may well change in their next game its quite an achievement. For Rabies things are not going well, they had a 100% record against Noodle before this game, Rabies have a game off now and need to reassess tactics for when they get back.

Happenstance FC 2-3 Secret United

Secret United poured more misery on Happenstance edging them in a thrilling encounter. United burst out the box badly wanting to re-establish themselves as a dominant force in the league. Heinze then Rundberg scored, Rundbergs long range strike was especially important. His 1st goal in his 1st game for the club came just as the manager was complaining about his other strikers. Happenstance struck back with Phingphaew who is always a threat heading Happenstance back into contention. United played 3-5-2 seemed to be in full flow and Brusling got his 4th goal of the season with a well placed header that looped over Happenstance's goalie. Happenstance broke away from United pressure as Phingphaew took it past United's undermanned defense and scored again. United however were so good at keeping the ball with their superior and well manned midfield, in the end they had 59% possession. United closed the game off and won the game, as a crucial win for United putting them back in the top tier. For Happenstance after their opening win they have gone 5 games without a win and are now in the relegation zone.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Happenstance FC 2-3 Secret United, great away win for Secret United to re-establish themselves as a top tier team, Happenstance are in trouble now.

Turned on the Style Award: Haden United, are on fire at the moment need to stop conceding so many goals though!

Dysonism F.C 3-0 DuDs Baggies

Dysonism comfortably beat the Baggies after a nervy first half. The Baggies playing a wild 4-2-4 formation again, seemed even with 2 midfielders to be edging the advantage in the 1st half. They had 2 chances to 1 but with incredible Dysonism performances especially from Brobeck who played like he was from a different universe. In the 2nd half Dysonism picked up the pace, they created 7 chances to none for Baggies. Spirito scored first curling in a classic long shot, after this Brobeck crossed the ball in for Twigg to head in his first goal of the season. Spirito made it 2 for him as he blasted in another amazing long shot on 90 mins. Dysonism are cruising now with a plus 7 goal difference and a unbeaten streak that only Tin Can Club can match. Baggies are needing a victory badly and must win at home against Jaffa Munchers.

Jaffa Munchers 0-1 Silverdale Hotpot

Munchers suffered a 2nd away loss in a row as Silverdale gained a massive victory. After 4 games without a win Silverdale badly needed a result, Munchers looked like they would get off to a great start though. After 10 minutes Munchers were awarded a penalty as McAnuff was tripped in the box. McAnuff hit the ball to the right but the goalie Slatter parried the ball with a magnificent save. The game took a tense turn as yellow cards and injuries were forthcoming. The 2nd half was even with both teams trying to land a killer blow, it was Silverdale who landed it. Beresford weaved his way down the wing and lobbed a cross in for the youth midfielder Jerome to bicycle kick in, in a moment of genius. Munchers had more bad news as talented midfielder Refetov was injured on 83 minutes. All of a sudden Munchers season has lost momentum and they are sliding down the table, for Silverdale this win was essential as they try and keep themselves in the league.

Soap Box Utd 2-1 Recall United

Soap Box are going from strength to strength as they as they beat bottom club Recall United. Things started off well quickly for Soap Box as Bose crossed in a ball for Heerkens to head in off the post. The rest of the 1st half was quiet but the game opened up in the 2nd half, McCartney hit in a great corner as Wallgren headed Recall United level. Recall United seemed to get another boost as Soap Box striker Muiren was injured and Rosando came on to replace him. However 3 minutes later Rosando scored via a blistering long shot! The veteran who hasn't played once this season certainly made a quick impact. It is lucky he did score as another penalty miss occurred in this match, as Soap Box midfielder Broerse wasted a penalty by smashing it into the post on the 91 minute mark. Soap Box move to 2nd as they look to achieve what Odwinica did by being promoted twice in a row.

Madpool 3-1 Emo Blades

Madpool keep up their great home form sinking the Blades in an intriguing match. The Blades took the lead with Zeca hit back at his critics scoring his first goal of the season, a diving header after 3 minutes. Book then scored twice for Madpool, once with a close range shot then with a looping header. Carey who had set up Book's shot complimented a great afternoon with a long range shot that when in off the bar. This match was an odd one though, The Blades had a stronger offense and defense than Madpool. They also had an incredible 62% of possession, however chance creation was a different story with Madpool making 6 chances and Blades only making 3. A intriguing game that both managers knowing the state of the tactics they set will know more about than the report. However what is fact is that both Madpool and the Blades now occupy the middle ground between relegation and promotion.

Analysis

Most Important Result: Jaffa Munchers 0-1 Silverdale Hotpot, Silverdale are far from being out of trouble but this was a big win for them.

Turned on the Style Award: Dysonism F.C, this team is just on fire at the moment getting promoted in style.

Player of the Day: Garth Carey, Madpool, nice assist and goal was a difference maker in midfield.

But my pre-emptive silver-lining-finder tells me that my player form/match experience should compensate for the lowly drift, points-wise.

Your age difference is a bit better than mine. It's hard, depending on the formation, to get 26 in average. Many times I have played with slightly less. I had barely above 24 in midfield/strikers in todays match because two of the oldest strikers were out.

Should have won todays match though, the bastard scored at 94th minute >_>

How is everyones form doing? In my N-E team I have to train at least 5(currently 9) at a time and I never have enough money for everyone. In the X11r team, I train just a few and have almost 3 million econs.
