Which Ratchet and Clank?

My brother has just bought a PS3 and so far only has Fifa for it. SO I'm going to buy him a game. I was thinking of the ratchet and clank game. But which one should I get? Quest for booty or Tools of destruction?

If its just between those 2 then Tools Of Destruction, Quest for Booty is only a couple of hours long.

Quest for Booty isn't a full length game as it was originally just a PSN game...I'd say go for Tools of Destruction as a more fully fledged title. I've just completed it recently and really enjoyed it. Although apparently Crack in Time is the best and fills in all the plot holes.

Quest for Booty is my favourite out of the three games. Second is Tools of Destruction. Out of the two, I'd have to recommend Tools though, just because (assuming) they're the same price, Tools is a full game.

Has he played R&C before? If he played the original he will be disappointed by either of those.

Id says Tools of Destruction. The story follows on from each other, ToD then QfB then CiT.
