Richard Burns Dies [Archive]

Man, this is a crazy few days. Richard Burns after a 4 year fight has died of a brain tumor at just 34.

If you don't know who he was, he won the Rally Championship 4 years to the day, the only other British man to do it apart from Colin Mcrae in recent years.

This guy was pretty awesome in a rally car, aint right to die at just 34.

damn shame that. nobody deserves to go like that, not so young.

kid on my road had that. can't even say for sure if he was past 10. don't think he was...

Tis a shame, I knew he was ill but when his game came out, I thought he must be getting better and ready for a comeback.

yeah I read this yesterday and could not believe he had died its another great loss to the rallying world this year! he will be greatly missed by all!

in all seriousness though, i don't know who he was but it's always especially sad when someone in the prime of life has it taken away from them. when i hear stories like this it makes me want to make the most of the time i have, not matter how long that is.
