WiiWare: Top five most wanted wish list

Sorry if there is already a thread covering this topic, I couldnt find one.

With the release of Mega Man 9 using NES graphics, i'm interested to know what games you would like to see released via WiiWare.

My top five would be:

No.5 Streets of Rage 4 - Mega Drive

No.4 Sonic the Hedgehog 4 - Mega Drive

No.3 Turtles 5 - SNES

No.2 WWE No Mercy new roster - N64 (Updated graphics, slightly higher res)

No.1 Super Mario Bros 5 - SNES

Star Fox 2 release (they won't have to change a thing - they had the game finished for goddness sake)

Metroid Dread (on Wario Land Wii engine... all over my pants)

Brand new Grim Fandango

A big RPG (maybe an off-shoot from Chrono Trigger)

Mega Man 10

1- Donkey Kong Country 4!
Its gotta happen.

2- No Mercy
Stolen from lostmario, but its a top idea.

3- Double Dragon
Better than Streets of Rage, needs a comeback.

4- Shiren the Wanderer
If they ain't gonna physically release it here, then hows about some downloadable stuff? Could feature additional downloadable dungeons and stuff and would be amazing. :grin:

5- Pop n Twinbee
Fantastic gameplay, cheesey story, colourful + cutesy graphics, catchy music... come on Konami, I don't care about Metal Gear Solid, bring back Twinbee!

1 - DKC 4 : nothing more to say

2 - Tingle RPG 2: I doubt they'll do another one for DS. Tingle inherits an old house from some deceased family member and wants to turn it into a hotel to earn a lot of rupees. The cast from the first one can return as customers, bodyguards as security agents,...

3 - Ganbare Goemon: an Impact battle game with wii controls (a full Goemon game would be better but just that can be great fun for wiiware).

4 - Zelda 4 swords online

5 - Monkey island/Day of the tentacle: episodic content like Strong Bad and Sam and Max.

Now, are we talking of the traditional Mario style, or are you thinking more along the lines of the Yoshi's Island variety? I was thinking earlier, after posting up my five, that a new Yoshi's Island on Wiiware would be a great move. The DS one is very solid and just lacking that little bit of magic that made the Snes original so great. :hehe:

I was thinking the original rather than the baby Mario/Yoshi route. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the 2nd Mario World but the first game is still what I would consider one of the greatest platformers ever made.

Hmmm, just to steal everyones ideas, my best of your suggestions would be

- Zelda: 4 swords with online co-op + WiiSpeak
- Starwing/fox 2 with 2-4 player co-op + WiiSpeak

A Mole Mania sequel/remake would be perfect for WiiWare (or DS. Definately not for the Wii, though).
