How To: Make a Record

Ever wanted to be in a band? Don't let your lack of musical talent or ideas hold you back on your inevitable path to fame and glory! This is the fail-safe guide to musical magic. Your stadia beckons!

1.
First you need a band name:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first thing that comes up is the name of your band.

Then the title of the record:
http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
the last FOUR words of the top quote are the title. (Random quotes at the bottom)

The picture in the middle is the front cover of the album
http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/

Next: combine elements using the almighty power of msPaint.

REMEMBER TO CROP IT TO ROUGH ALBUM SHAPE/SIZE or I'll have some kind of aesthetics induced mental breakdown!

ALSO please, just FOUR words for the album title!

ANYONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH FLICKR:
If when you try and copy a picture into paint and nothing happens, or if you try to save it and it appears as 'spaceball.gif' there are two things you can do to get the image:

1. use 'printscreen' to copy the entire screen when the image is visible, then just paste into paint
2. use firefox, right click on the page (not the image) and select page info, then click media at the top and scroll through til you see the image, then save as, open it in paint! Voila.

Please stick to the rules. Remember, Random = Awesome!! and enjoy!

Yeah, bluey made practically the same thread here in the creative gallery. Feck knows which fori is more appropriate. But at least Bluey didn't pretend it was her idea ;)
