The enviroments don't look very varied - is it all set in a bloody space-station?!

I know what you mean, I prefer my RPGs in fantasy, beautiful worlds, like in Golden Sun,Baten Kaitos or Skies of Arcadia. I'll wait and see though, it looking good.

Ah yes same here. This is what put me off Star Ocean 3, it being all sci fi and everything. Although the Xenosagas for the PS2 have been critically acclaimed so this one *should* be good aswell. IMO, the more RPGs the better but I do wish they give us some screenies of Baten for the DS.

Not really liking the look of that to be honest, not trying to be a graphics whore but I'm sure the DS is capable of bigger and better things

Haha, thanks for pointing that out, hope no-one was offended
But I stand by my point and after seeing the Viewtiful Joe video this looks even poorer still!

No it's not all set in a space station. The space craft is the first part of the game. The story is very VERY deep. You travel to different places and stuff as the game progresses. I really hope the scenes are done very well. It was damn awesome seeing the ****** ******* your ship.

Has anyone played XenoGears on the PS? When Squaresoft were at the helm of this seiries; incredible would be an understatment.
Wonder why it went over to Namco...
Namco can make some great RPG's but Square-Enix are well and truly the kings of RPG.
