N-Europe In Game XMB Summer of Fun!

Ok so I noted that the Live Summer of Fun has taken off and thought why doesn't N-Europe's growing PS3 fanbase get in with some fun made all the easier by the inclusion of in game XMB....

Had some good games with thelillster on MGO last night, first decent games I had on it.

MGO was frustrating last night...me and Choze were playing and kicking ass and then everyone got disconnected from the game, then in the next game I got disconnected again. But was good to get playing.

I had a try of MGO last night, seems pretty good although i found it abit confusing. All the different options n stuff just blew my mind and i found it didn't make things very straight forward. (The beginning with the game id and konomi id prob didn't help).

Anyone else find this?

Yeah Flameboy we had a good few matches. Shame you got disconnected. For some reason the game doesnt let me make a server... I would love to host games.

Thinking of getting O2 broadband along with the Iphone. They do 1.6 Mbps upload speed. Should be good for gaming. The Iphone camera is just the main thing making me hesitate as i will be coming from a N95 8GB which takes digital camera type shots.

I have had MGS4 since it was released and have completed it. I had just never tried MGO online till that time.

Yer i agree, with only just getting it back i will prob be playing on it quite abit i had never really played online when i had it last. The stunts side of burnout i have not really tried, had just been playing races, marked man etc.

I think if you send out the invites then you are the host...from what I remember. I havn't been on it for a while though. I have a few other none n-e mates who I could invite if they are online if we are struggling to make up the 8.

Well it's official the N-Europe In Game XMB Summer of Fun has started and what a great session it was as well. Think I faired pretty well in the races coming in 2nd...and also was delighted to win the stunt run!

I'm free all tomorrow if anyone fancies a game of something else...or more burnout.

Just to add to my disapointing post of saying i no longer have resistance, i used to have SST and played alot online (i was briefly ranked first in the world weekly rankings!) but i have sold it many months ago.

Hmm...I've been thinking of getting Resistance for the single player anyhow...played the demo and didn't like the floaty controls...They didn't feel very solid and the weapons didn't feel very visceral.

I would love to hit up some Team Fortress 2 with people. I got quite into it but havn't played it for ages now...

So continuing the fun what do people fancy playing today? I'm gonna get back into some GTA 4 single player but not all day.

P.S does anyone ever play The Darkness online? I heard it had a wierd online mode. I have the game never played it though as I bought it cheap with Uncharted on ebay (£41 for the pair, what a bargain!) and had so much to play thought I'd leave it till later.

Also on the Warhawk front been kinda put off getting it because think SOCOM will fast overtake it as the online shooter of choice once that comes out.
