View Full Version : How Much Would You Have To Be Paid To Eat Human Flesh?

So Ive been asking everyone I speak to this recently (Y'know, cos' its interesting)

The task at hand is to eat a 1 inch by 1 inch square of well done grilled human flesh. You must eat the whole thing, and you are not allowed any condements apart from Salt and Pepper.

How much would it take you?

The lowest Ive heard is £5.00 (He nearly said "Free...just to see what it tastes like, given the oppurtunity" but he changed his mind) and the most is like £10,000.

Personally Id have a chew on the home trophy for £30.

I'd also say free, out of curiousity, I'm tempted to see what human flesh would taste like, but mentally I'm also heaving at the thought.

Give us £40.

No reason, I just want £40. And if I have to eat some human flesh for it, then foine boi me.

I'd be intruiged if it was offered to me. I've tried ostrich and crocodile among other exotic tastes... £50.

do we have to know it was human?

um

100 really..

Strider

I'd say £100, seems a nice round figure. I wouldn't do it for free seeing as i'd have a chance to get money.

16-06-2008, 09:02 PM
I'd prolly eat it for no less than £50.

It would be interesting to hear a vegetarian's opinion on this.

Apparently, alot of vegetarians love placenta parties because they can eat meat without harming animals.

Well I hate these questions cause you'd just say the highest amount etc.

I'm curious at the thought, but then I get a horrible taste in my mouth, a mix of cold meat and batteries.

I wouldn't. Especially for the amount of money you guys want!

The thought of it makes me feel quite sick!

I think I'd have to be offered millions to even consider it.

Being the kind of fellow who isn't a complete 'tard, I'd say roughly the amount that Bill Gates donates to charity a year (he personally gives 10% of all the US's charitable donations, by the way...).

By flesh do you mean the skin or the muscles?
If I as really hungry I'd have it for free. If not, then I'm the same as Strider, if I can get money for eating it I'd ask for a couple hundred quid.

Buy me Okami because I can't afford it just at the moment!

Free of charge. I've always wanted to taste it, and personally don't see what's so wrong with it.

Caris

£50 for me.

Letty
16-06-2008, 10:04 PM
If I was able to eat it with no consequences, ie. arrest or something - free.

But I'd want it cooked nicely!!

Fuzpoy
16-06-2008, 10:09 PM
nothing, hell i'd pay for it in a restaurant

Daft

Depends who it was.

I'd probably do it for free though, you only live once.

However much you're willing to pay, because seriously, it's only meat :/

I'd probably stretch to paying around £5.

Ditto, I couldn't stomach the thought of it at all.

It would be interesting to hear a vegetarian's opinion on this.

Oh... hi there.

I wouldn't eat it... knowing how terrible most people treat their bodies it couldn't be good for you... plus.. I'm a vegetarian so.... yea..

Most people here seem to think that it's like... just.. human flesh... not that someone would have to die to get you that flesh...

but that's just me.

Ive discussed this with people aswell. In this particular instance, assume the donour specifically stated in his will he wanted folk to...eat him.

I then made a joke about how at my funeral after the buffet a video would be put on that I recorded before I died.

"Hey, yeah you know thos sausage rolls you just ate....that wasn't sausage meat."

Hmm, i'd need some BBQ sauce, but i'd probably do it for free too. Might be pretty tasty, and you never turn down a free meal!

Which human in particular? I'm not keen on eating someone I like.

Have to be a baby really, so the flesh is still nice and soft.

Give me about £500, a pint of Fosters and a pack of Wrigleys Extra and i'd eat some.

Quite a bit I'd say a grand at least, unless I was trapped up in the Andies like in that film alive, even then I would'nt be to keen on it.

I'd pay £100 if I could choose who it was and kill them myself.

I'd want to be served up as food at my own wake, everyone could always carry a piece of me with them.

Unless it's in an extreme situation, then no. :) I would not be able to eat a human.

Try everything once. So for free, unless someon actually offered me money then I'd take money as well as the free food.

Owen
17-06-2008, 04:36 PM
If i needed too, to stay alive..i would...the obvious example being like the film 'alive'.

Other then that..i wouldn't be able to eat it unless being offered quite alot of money..

I'd pay you like £10 quid so i could eat some. Do you realise how difficult it is to find human flesh?

Eenuh
19-06-2008, 12:47 AM
Don't think I could/would, unless you would offer me a million or more, and even then it would have to be a tiny piece that is cooked and stuff.

I hate the taste of meat from animals (pretty much anything except some fish and chicken), so doubt I'd like the taste of this.

I'd pay £100 if I could choose who it was and kill them myself....Hold on, that makes no sense. You say you'd get paid 100 quid, choose who you'd eat, then kill yourself? If you're gonna kill yourself, why ask for the 100 quid?

I don't think I could to be honest. The thought makes me wretch.

the trick is to read ALL the words in the line ~ not just every other word :heh:

tbh i wouldnt go to a restaurant where (a) they had to pay YOU to eat there, and (b) they'd run out of chicken.

what kind of establishment are you running, rez?! O___o

It wasn't that I was ready every other word :heh:, it was that I was fecking tired, and things in my poor brain weren't computing properly. :(

To be honest, I was expecting more answers like the ones Raining_again, Mr-paul and Eenuh gave.

I don't think I could eat human flesh if I had the option to do otherwise. Not even if you pay me a lot of money (or an ALoM :heh:).

ReZourceman
20-06-2008, 11:16 AM
Im suprisised some people need so much money to do so. Realistically £500,000 can buy you a house, and give you enough money to live off for at least a decade, and all for just breaking a taboo and going through 30 seconds of possible....like...eating peopleness.

That joke would suck so much because you would never get to see the reaction.

Edit: I was going to say free out of curiousity, but I might as well ask for £100 or something. why say free if money is up for grabs?

Indigo

I'd refuse to do it for any sum.

I think there are some things which are intuitively wrong, cannibalism being one of them. To suggest that an incentive might sway me to abandon that principle would render cannibalism as merely something unpleasant rather than as being plain wrong as I see it. It's in the same way as I wouldn't commit incest for any price - it's not just unpleasant, it's contrary to our intuitions and morally wrong.

So eating a family members genitals is totally out of the question?

Sexual needs?

If it was legal and healthy and the (wo)man hadn't been murdered for it then I would probably do it for a few hundred.
