So true about quantity of games, my mate bought a cube late in the day (last Xmas) and got about 30 games within a month, he ended not really playing anything except pick and play stuff.

I'm the same, if I've got a few games to be getting on with. I usually stare at them for half an hour, and then play Winning Eleven or dome some reading/writing!!

The ones I want include: Mario Footy, Pikmin 2, JV2, Mario Baseball (if it gets good reviews), Zelda: Twilight Princess, SSX: On Tour, Battalion Wars, Spartan: Total Warrior and POSSIBLY.....Pokémon: Gale of Darkness, Fire Emblem & Pacman World Rally (if it's good). And MAYBE the Resident Evils I'm missing.

I'm going to get some DVD case stands like Rokhed00 hopefully. My shelves are running out of space. Probably will be by the endo of the year.

Heheh....I asked you about Kirby since you seem to be pretty open minded and that. I've read SO many reviews that say it's shit, and others which praise it as if it's God n such. I'll think of getting it now you've said it's alright, I've heard the Single player is as easy as piss, but I buy some games mainly for multiplayer anyway.
Maybe people would prefer it if you could fall off the edges. I think they should make a sequel, and make it better, with more button usage too!! :grin:

I play all of my multiplayer games quite often. Others I don't as much, and i haven't actually completed that many. I've defeated Bowser on Mario Sunshine, but not got all the shines; Beat Metroid Prime on Prime (stuck on a Boss on Echoes); Beat Ganondorf on Wind Waker etc etc....It just depends what game it is, I haven't unlocked everything on most of my multiplayer games (I have on SSBM :grin: ) But I just enjoy playing them with friends and things.

I made that sound as if i haven't complete many of them. I have completed quite a few. There's just more uncompleted than I'd like.

Out of all my games the only ones I havent finished 100% are Phantasy Star Online, Cubivore, Sonic Heroes, Pikmin 2 and Baten Kaitos. Given I havent even started some of the games yet thats pretty good going on my part. I always complete a game 100% to get my moneys worth out of it.

I've beat almost all of them i think. The only that comes to mind is Super Monkey Ball 2 Story World 9 and Viewtiful Joe Ultra V mode.

You can kill them by using mass amounts of firepower but the best way is to use cocktails on them so they burn up easily. I personally just tried to run past them.

I'm just getting tired of games I think. The thought of playing through some of them really does make me bored. Out of all of them:

Zelda TWW: Completed, and I'd play through it again if I had time.
Mario Sunshine: Finished but never got all the shines, got to about 91.
Zelda OTT: Just can't get into, don't think I ever will.
Soul Calibur 2: Played loads but mostly Arcade, did the weapon master mode once.
F-Zero GX: Will play more of once I get better at it, never really got into the story mode.
Resident evil 4: Awaesome and playing lots of it at the moment, one of the few games I actually want to play without a walkthrough.
Metroid Prime: I had it sold it bought Metroid 2 then decided it'd be better if I played this first. After Resi 4 I'm getting back into this I think. Just didn't absorb me first time.
Metroid Prime 2: After 1st one.
Pikmin 2: Couldn't get into it, but might do after I finish a few others.
Viewtiful Joe: Started to get into it a little then kinda gave up, and I got a bit bored. May play it more but unlikely.
Medal of Honour Frontline: Thought it was crap.
Resident Evil: I'm rubbish at it, and only have to show off graphics.
SW Rogue Leader: Same as Resi Evil.
SSX3: I like it but only to play the odd 5 mins here and there.
XIII: Just got it, and am slowly getting into it.
Monkey Ball: Played to death and still a favourite.
Spiderman 2: Just got and am just stuck at a bit. The test will be if I stick at it or just move on and sell it.
Killer 7: Another new one which I don't see myself owning for very long. Annoys me lots.

So there you go. Anyone else finding themselves getting bored by games easily? It seems like they have to be completely amazing for me to like them, otherwise I sell them on and end up with about 3 games. This is whats happened with so many of my games, I'm even considering not getting a Revo cus of it.

Man, you guys make me feel so poor. I'd buy a ton more games if only I had the money... Those games cost 60 euro; that's about the money I make in a month by working. And of course I have a lot of other expenses too so I can barely buy any games. =/

I have also owned...

Ikaruga, FF: Crystal Chronicles, Sonic Gems, Skies of Arcadia: Legends, Wario World, Mario Party 4 Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Timesplitters 2, James Bond: Nightfire, Agent Under Fire and a handful of Fifa games - Most of which I'm not bothered I got rid of.

Agent Under Fire & SA2: Battle were early titles to tide me over till the good stuff and though they were enjoyable at the time I didn't want to go back to them.

Timesplitters 2, Ikaruga and Mario Party 4 were just games I never really got into, they got good reviews (well, Mario Party 4's were fairly average but other than that...) but they just weren't my cup of tea for various reasons and I never got going with them.

Crystal Chronicles was ok but it didn't have much direction and I didn't play multiplayer enough to warrant hanging on to it.

Nightfire was just absolute crap, just not fun at all whilst the Fifa's were entertaining for a while but soon lost their appeal. Sonic Gems was the same, I love Mega Collection but this was quite a poor compilation in comparison and not worth hanging onto.

I would however like to track down Skies of Arcadia: Legends and Wario World again for a reasonable price as they're both good games

There were a few others as well that I had that I own on a different system now - For example I had Resi 4 but I sold it and then when I bought a PS2 I rebought it so I could play Seperate Ways, the graphics and controls aren't quite as good but they're still brilliant and Seperate Ways is worth it. I also had Viewtiful Joe which I paid £20 for on Cube, had a laugh with but got bored of and sold - Then when I'd just got my PS2 I wanted something cheap and fun to occupy and saw VJ for £5 (Which I later sold on for the same price). Other games that I would have bought for my Cube I got the other system versions of because they were cheaper (e.g Resi 2/3/CV X - Cost me £10 for the lot on PS2, cheapest I could find the lot for on Cube was upwards of £40)

I imagine it'll be a while before I get all the cube games I want - There's still around a dozen or so I'd like but there's no rush, I'm just holding out for the inevitable coming down in price of games as shops clear out their shelves. I remember when that happened with the N64, I got so many classics each for a few quid each. Good times :D

Geist has just been the briefest addition to my games collection - I bought it on Friday after seeing it in a local independent shop for £12 pre-owned but with VIP Stars. I bought it inspite of reviews as I loved the concept but the cut-scenes breaking up the action so much and the sloppy FPS sections were disappointing, it wasn't bad but it wasn't as good as it could of been and I decided to trade it in. Made a £5 profit in gamestation with the credit note being saved to go towards my Revo quite probably :D

£15 for Twin Snakes? Good Price - Cheapest I've seen it is £22. I wasn't overly taken with it when I first played it, much preferred the original but after giving other games a second chance that I didn't enjoy first time, I've got into them all so I will pick it up at some point.

Its a great game. The mulit-player is amazing as are the mini-games. The only downside are the powershots as they interupt the flow of the game but if you can get past that then its highly enjoyable.

Yep, as with so many Nintendo/ other original games, dismissed for looking childish/not enough guns etc.

What you do in it is clean up, do various tasks like collecting frog rings for the girl etc. It's more something you have to play, because it sounds crap i know.

Thats likely to be it really, I've given most other big titles on the system a go but none have really been keepers for me, there's just a few more I'm going to consider picking up before I stop getting Gamecube games and those are.

1. Donkey Kong: Bongo Blast - If it gets released here and turns out to be good, also will depend on how much money I have and what other games are available at the time. I might get it but to be fair I probably won't unless it turns out to be the best Nintendo racer since Mario Kart 64.

2. Donkey Konga 1/2 - Neither have much/any appeal to me as single player games, however purely for multiplayer (My Cube is very much a party console) I have considered picking them up. If DK:BB turns out to be good then I will have to buy some more Bongos and as such I may as well pick up Donkey Konga 1 and 2 as well :)

3. Kirby Platformer - If this is still in the works for Gamecube, gets released here and is anything like the quality of the Dreamland games then I'll be getting it. I think all/most are doubtful.

3. Mario Baseball - I've heard loads of good things and it does look good but I'm not a huge Baseball fan (I love Football/Tennis hence buying into those sports series') and with Wii Sports coming out that'll probably satisfy any cravings I have for a Baseball game so its highly unlikely I'll pick it up unless I see it on the cheap.

4. Mario Golf - Same as above really substituting Baseball for Golf.

5. Super Paper Mario - This looks brilliant, as long as it comes out on the Gamecube (I wouldn't be surprised if it gets moved over to the Wii, at least in Europe) then I'll be getting it.

6. The Legend of Zelda: 4 Swords - I want it partly for completist reasons (I own every other Zelda in at least one form) and partly because it looks a lot of fun. I doubt I'll get as much multiplayer fun out of it asit deserves though because I only have 2 GBA's so I don't want to pay too much for it. I'll get it at the right price.

7. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - I'm getting a Wii but I'm slightly concerned that the controls might be a bit gimmicky - Hopefully I can read reviews of both a week or so in advance of launch to get an idea. If the games are both the same and the Wiimote controls don't add anything then I'll probably pick up the Cube version, if not I'll get the Wii version.

Cube is my primary console, but I have paid full price for only two games on that list; Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and Mario Kart: Double Dash (and I regret it). Others have been bought as used or from bargain bins or christmas presents. Average price for single game is around 24 euros in that list.

Actually it is still in theworks for Cube. It appeared on this fiscal years release list and it should be released around christmas. I'm just not sure that will we ever see it in the west.

I don't really have a list anymore. With the DS arriving in a couple of weeks, I think I may just buy my games on that. There isn't really anything on GC that interests me, although Paper Mario looks alright. Probably wont get it though.

If your on about the new Paper Mario then I have my doubts that it will get a release over here, I mean it wasnt even on Nintendos list of games coming out at the end of the year. Still, you can always just use the freeloader and get a US copy.

I was looking at the dates for Super Paper Mario, Donkey Kong Racing and Baten 2 and not 1 of them appears to be on the European schedule. In fact D onkey Racing doesnt appear to be on any schedule so Im wondering if that has been shifted to the Wii along with that Kirby game that has went AWOL.

Having a job is the worst thing that can happen when you get 2 new consoles. My GC collection is now officially at an end now. Might chuck the GC on another TV in the house, keep all my games until the Wii is out. Thank God for backwards compatibility. Without it I'd have to have 4 consoles on a tiny table.
