At the end of the day, I turn my computer off and go to sleep. Next morning, I wake up, turn my computer on…only to find out that the Nintendo USB Connector isn’t working anymore. Why? Apparently, it’s because I “disconnected” from the internet when I turned my system off the previous night. It seems as though there’s a flaw in the design of the connector itself, since it can only accept 1 IP Address. If you change IP addresses by disconnecting and reconnecting to the internet, then the connector’s software doesn’t recognize the new IP. You have to uninstall the program and reinstall it again.
So yeah, everytime I want to use the dongle I have to reinstall it. This takes about 10mins at best so is there a way around this? Why does it do this everytime?! Anyone?

Can't you just set up a static IP address?

Can anyone tell me how to change the security settings on my BT Home Hub to WEP shared so I can connect my DS? Thanks! :)

Well for the moment my 3DS won't connect to the Nintendo WFC because the 3DS doesn't support my routers security settings... my DS Lite had no problems with it but my 3DS sure does.
I can connect to the Internet on it with no problem, the web browser works just fine. Just not the Nintendo WFC and Nintendo's support page online doesn't give me any answers.
I'll have to try and sort it after work tomorrow... any ideas how?
