I've kinda been praising this tutorial in another thread quite a bit, so I guess I should really put it in here as well so that others will find it. Really good starting place for inking and colouring. ;)

i didnt want to make a thread for such a question, but how do you make the userbar things flash like and animation so one pops up after the other after a couple of seconds? people have done it before ut i cant remember who and if they still have it.

I bought myself Adobe Illustrator CS: Classroom in a Book, cost me £20 2nd-hand from Amazon. It's not bad value but I wouldn't buy it twice.

How do you put an animated image as your avatar on this forum?

I've seen a number of users do this including Viper, 1UP and Patch just to name a few, I go to do it and it says i'm not able to upload animated images, how do you do it? I asked the question several weeks ago but am yet to get a proper answer...

And if you want a really hight quality you could use a tiff. Though pngs are pretty high quality already.
