After looking at the GPX2 website: http://www.gbax.com/indexgp2x.html I was thinking of getting of getting one. But should I dish out more cash and get a PSP, or is a GP2X more worth the money?

The GP2X has an incredible battery life, and it uses AA batterys... crazy. It can also play some PC games and all emulation games.

However, the PSP will have alot of exclusive games and such.

Yeah...I'm not really into any of the excusive games for PSP so far. What also put me off it is it's fragileness.

I'd go for the GPX2, has linux, comes with own sdk and can play avi, 'nuff said.

Yeah...that's what i was thinking. avi files are cool, and it's got DivX on it already and that too.

It's out!? i thought it wasn't out until the 30th. Where did you order it from? Lik Sang or GBAX.com. I'm hoping to get one for an early christmas present.

Also, does anyone know how playable MAME is on it. I can't imagine the newer games like Samurai Showdown and Metal Slug running but older stuff like Ghouls and Ghosts and the older Street Fighters should be possible, right?
